Penny For Your Thoughts

Competition Summary: I want to see who can come up with an idea for another book in the series. I’m not sure, as yet, what the series as a whole will be titled, but its prettymuch going to be Hunters falling in love with things they Hunt, some focus on like…Maybe a vampire who doesn’t do pets because they hate humanity, etc. Thing is, I don’t know what to write of following Alister/Armand, so I want your thoughts. It doesn’t need to a gay or lesbian pairing, nor do they need to be just werewolves or vampires.

Duration: Running through to the end.

Requirements: Ah… Just don’t make it stupid. I will never write a ‘vampire falls in love with a boring, normal teenage girl’ story. Gag me. Beyond that, you have creative freedom.

Number of Winners: No real winner here. Everyone who gives me an idea I like gets the same prize.

Okay, I know this doesn't follow your suggestion of the vampire/no pets idea, but I had this idea and thought I'd share it. Take it or leave it, I just figured I'd give my thoughts.

A female Hunter named Lux (after Luxembourg – her parents were big on travel, which turned out great for Lux and her brother V – he couldn’t deal with the name Vichy and didn’t even attempt to think of a nickname) is nineteen and active in New York City, where the vampires are sleeker and more adjusted to modern life and the werewolves all but own the city. Lux is on a Hunt in a warehouse on the bad side of Manhattan with her boyfriend Jake – also a Hunter – when she comes across Alexander, a werewolf isolated from the rest of his kind who lives with his books and two canaries in the basement of the warehouse. He’s asleep when Lux finds him, and for whatever reason she retreats, without killing him or even telling Jake. Lux wants to know if it’s really possible for a werewolf to hate the intoxicating transformation, to resist the pull of a pack and the fresh meat other werewolves thrive on – and what better way to find this out than to return to the warehouse?

Alexander admirably doesn’t kill Lux when she comes back, even though he knows exactly what she is. The two talk warily, and over the course of a month they become friends, and then more. The problem is that Jake finally follows her, and when he understands what’s happening he calls in the entire New York Hunter force. Lux has to decide whether to go with Alexander and spend the rest of her life on the run, hiding from her own kind (as well as some pissed off vampires who’ve been looking for Alexander for two years), or to let him go on his way and disappear again while she stays with Jake and the life she’s used to.

If this sounds cliche or awful, or just not what you're looking for, it goes without saying that you should just ignore it! Honestly. But no one else had posted, so there you are. Tra la la.

-twitch- I know I said the ideas don't have to be slash, but I really like slash, so...Since it's your idea I shall ask your permission: would you mind if I twisted it into slash? Would you? I do like the idea, but...Yeah.

Of course I don't mind if you change it to slash! I just automatically tend to write girl/boy pairings. Yeah, you can use any part of it or not, I was just having fun coming up with an idea. XD So there is no need to twitch.

I had a idea, it something I was planning on working with but I think you would do it better, a new kind of creature have appear, they are mix of human with Bat DNA, Fox Bat are rare and that where one of the main Character Erised come in, he is rare among his kind and even more his kind where made to hunt down Vampires, werewolf and other creatures like ogre and things that are dangerous. There is Smoky Bat who is able to control fire and are pretty small, No tail bat who have the ability to climb fast, Pallid bat who have the best vision among the clans, Ghost bat which are good at finding the mates of people, causing a large amount of lust and have knife like nails, Micro bat an Mega bat who are swimmers and are good at locating things and are more of the loner between the clans an Common vampire bat which get their name because they feed of vampires and other creatures to stay strong as well as liking the night more. Anyways Erised is out hunting like usual when he get capture by a Werewolf who is one of the strongest an he end up passing out waking up in the house of a Vampire, that where he learn what his people have been hiding from him, that they are trying to kill the vampire kind because they fear the vampires are to much an then maybe he could find like a journal or something that belong to Alister, he could be from the same clan as Alister and have DNA related from one of his clan member? Anyways I was thinking the vampire who saves him name is Azure and he is trying to save his people from the bat clans before it to late and Erised being raised to believe Vampire and most magical creatures where evil is trying now to choose what the right thing to do and who to believe.

Hello. You told me to post on here about my story idea. I'm sorry it's taken so long to do it, but this week has been crazy. But here is what I'm kinda hoping to do with the story. I'm just having trouble getting it started and I like new ideas. And I'm wanting to do a collaborative project with it

Kayden - 18-20 years old. Haven't decided. About 5'8" -ish. Shortish black hair but with a long rat's tail type thing that he keeps braided and has a white strip of material he wraps around it. It's very hard to explain. I could probably draw it better than I could describe it. Purple eyes and pale skin. Has a scar going across his right eye. But he's a mage and does spells and controls the elements, etc. etc.

Sebastian - Around 21 or 22 years old. About 6'2". Shaggy dirty blond hair. Blue-ish grey eyes. Tanned skin. I haven't decided if he's a mage or not. I think I just want him to be a soldier/fighter type person.

Summary - There's a kingdom and mages are rare so they try and collect the ones they find to make them join their army. The kingdom pretty much sux and no one really likes it. A group of people left the kingdom and made a resistance group to fight against it.

The kingdom somehow finds out that Kayden is a mage and tries to force him into their army. Kayden escapes, and finds his way to the resistance group while having to avoid the kingdom's army. He gets there, talks to the leader, and they let him join. No one is too happy that there is a mage there because they all associate mages with the kingdom and pretty much all of them work for it.

A couple of weeks later Kayden runs into Sebastion, they get to know each other, blah-de-blah-blah.

Big fight with resistance and kingdom.

And I haven't gotten much farther. I know it's very short and not descriptive but it's late. LOL. So if you're interested, let me know. Oh, and I'm about to change my name to d1sh3veledh34rt so if u can't find me, that's why. I hope to hear from you soon!!
