![]() Created so my wife and I don't need to discuss our novel in the middle of every other general conversation. 3/16/2009 #1 |
![]() Belial (I won’t lie to you…this basically is the guy from Angel Sanctuary, just…more firmly a guy) Race: Demon (Shadow) Age: He’s rather old, but a little younger than Laycus Hair/Eyes/Height: These all vary, as he is a shapeshifter. However, he most often appears with reddish hair, yellow eyes, and about 5’9”. Belial is a loyal servant of Laycus, as he has been for centuries. He has a very jester-like personality, and loves to toy around with young boys in a mostly-teasing manner. He loves to play the violin, and his playing of the instrument offers a form of hypnotism- the sleeping inducing sort, and as much as he can, he uses this power to help out his master. Despite how loyal he is, he doesn’t want to sleep with Laycus, just serve him. (This is not an awkward, Rosiel/Katan relationship). As a Shadow, he has the ability to take any form he desires, and move through solids. 3/19/2009 #2 |

![]() Please do write more O_O Me likes it! Or do you want me to write a response from him? 3/19/2009 #4 |
![]() Okay, the character profiles I sent you...I'm just going to post them here :) Humans: Name: Krad Addberg Age: 17 Hair: dark blonde, pulled back in a little ponytail Eyes: dark brown Height: aprox. 1.70 cms The player kind of guy. He is in Iova’s class, but acts far more mature than him. He flirts with boys, but prefers older men, such as young teachers. He’s smart, good with Math and Biology, but not so good with creative subjects. He thinks it is fun to tease Iova, and is interested in the boy only because he’s so utterly unattainable. He’s quiet, but enjoys a good chat, and he’s got a very charming attitude and smile. Name: Lesley Grey Race: Human Age: 32 Hair: Puffy, light brown hair Eyes: Dark blue Height: Aprox. 1.80 (5.9-6 feet?) Lesley is an Art teacher who’s hardly ever seen without his mug of coffee. He’s quiet, but pleasant to talk to and be around, and most of the pupils quite like him. He doesn’t have the heart to be strict with children, and tries his best to encourage them to do well. No one knows whether he’s straight or not since he doesn’t gossip or talk much about himself. It’s hard to make him angry, because he hates to argue with people, and he’s got a bit of a phobia when it comes to loud noises/music. He often spends a lot of time drawing after work hours in the art studio where he teaches. Name: Mace Haddley Nick name: Macey Race: Human Age: 17 Hair: Dirty blonde Height: 1.75 (5.8 feet) Macey is in the same year as Iova, and he’s also got a reputation for being an ass to his class mates and teachers. He has a short attention span and often can’t concentrate well on school. He’s got a foul mouth and a quick temper that tend to get him in trouble. His inability to socialize like normal people leaves him pretty friend-less. But he’s really just insecure and doesn’t know how to cope with the problems he experiences at home, and lashing out it the only way he knows to interact with others. He is unsure if he likes girls, and the thought of being gay scares him. Other: Is secretly a pyromaniac. Demons: Name: Voxifera Nick name: Vox Race: Demon Age: Unknown, but still young for a demon Hair: Black Eyes: Black Height: Aprox. 1.70-75 (5.6-5.7 feet?) Vox is a creature that tends to stand out like a sore thumb in the human world. He has a very unhealthy tendency to obsess over things, in particular the colour green, and has always expressed interest in having sex with Laycus. As a person he’d a tad whimsical and quite moody, and he’s hard to get to know. He also reaps souls for food, but doesn’t have the patience to make contracts with his victims. Usually he goes by the way of tricking them into giving their soul away, and his favourite type to reap are suicidal teenagers. 3/19/2009 . Edited 3/19/2009 #5 |
![]() God, I'm glad you like it. That means I can do more on it. So I'll be taking a wild guess when it comes to writing Iova. You'll have to tell me if I'm getting him right once he starts speaking. 3/20/2009 #6 |
![]() Will do, love ^^ 3/20/2009 #7 |
![]() I'm going to go ahead and post the chapter you wrote, since I'm about to force myself to achieve more on the Breathtaken chapter I'm doing. It has to be up by Wednesay, as per Sorene's deadline, and this way AMT will be up already when I start advertising for us. It'll be up within the next half an hour (your chap.), and you can tell me your thoughts on the summary I give. I'll be making it up as I go. -.-" 3/21/2009 #8 |
![]() Yes, sir! :3 3/21/2009 #9 |
![]() Arachne (This time it’s just the same name, I promise.) Race: Demon Age: Roughly as old as Laycus Hair: Brunette Eyes: Black Height: 5’11”-ish Arachne is a very sombre woman with a dry sense of humour. She has worked with – not for, always with, as she makes very clear to everyone – Laycus for a very long time, and as such is used to his rather whorish personality. 3/24/2009 #10 |
![]() Mephisto Race: Demon Age: A couple of years younger than Laycus Hair: Grey-ish, it's thick and curly and reaches his shoulders Eyes: grey Height: 5'5 -ish Mephisto has a bit of an inferiority complex because of his height, and he tries to make up for it by being (a little too) straight forward. He has always envied Laycus for his natural talent to achieve things, and views him as a rival. This poisons his life, and he often stalks Laycus in poor attempts to steal the things (read: boys) his rival wants. He is snappy and has a short fuse, but can be very charming when the situation calls for it. 3/24/2009 #11 |
![]() Like I said, I've got plans for the human I made named Mace (his profile is further up on the page). I have this one scene in my head that refuses to go away, so I need to include it in a chapter. Okay, it goes like this... Mace is secretly a pyromaniac, and Iova coincidentally comes across him while he is about to put the a school room on fire. Mace freaks and threatens to really do it, and Iova just looks at him and shrugs and tells him to do as he wishes. Mace gets insecure, because he's used to people shouting at him, and Iova stays and watches him, but says nothing. And that leads to Mace crushing on him, lol. Can't get it out of my head, for some reason. 3/24/2009 #12 |
![]() Aaaw...I like that scene. You can put it in whenever you feel it would become fitting. The people who have been floating in my head: Azrael Race: Demon Age: Young, for a demon Hair: Dark, unnamed colour that's sort of auburn, sort of black Eyes: Violet Height: 5'8"ish Azrael is Laycus's younger brother. He is generally used to getting his way, and while not necessarily childish, he does often stoop low in order to get what he wants, when he wants, exactly how he wants. Normally he hangs around with people like Vox, and likes to play with people's heads. In a way, Azrael has the sort of personality the Cheshire Cat always did. He's friendly, and while not as sexually open as his brother, he does enjoy a good partner in bed. In fact, he's interested in sleeping with Vox, making life interesting at times. Eliza Boleyn Race: Human Age: 23 Hair: Blonde, cut just underneath her ears Eyes: bright blue Height: Like, Iova's height Eliza is a young, very young (as in fresh out of university, this is her first year) teacher at Iova's school. She has one of those bubbly personalities that are all right in small doses, but too much of it makes you want to shoot the person in the face. As soon as she catches wind of a new teacher she is interested, and moreso once she sees Laycus. Thus she wishes to be with him, and puts plenty of effort into seducing the man. She also ends up jealous a lot, when Laycus continually talks to so many men/boys. 3/24/2009 #13 |
![]() We needed more women, so Eliza is a sorely needed addition ^^ Is it an all-boys' school? :O Hehe, Azrael and Vox are mates, huh? They sound like a fun duo. Vox probably wouldn't mind having sex with him, especially if he looks anything like his older brother. Our challenge will be melting all these characters naturally into the story as we go...The teacher are easy, but how to add the demons? It wouldn't look good if a bunch of new teachers suddenly appeared at Iova's school. I suppose not all demons can be seen my the humans unless they want to be seen. Or maybe some of them should be saved for when they visit the underworld? 3/24/2009 #14 |
![]() Yeah, we officially have two women only. *sweatdrop* And I don't think it's an all-boys school, either. Ah...we'll have to work on that. So regarding the additions of demons: I've already introduced Belial, vaguely, and I think he'll be sort of a like a butler/secretary for Laycus, so he's easy, and Arachne is already in a scene of mine, but to integrate her completely, I'm not entirely sure. Mephisto can prolly come in one of the first times they go to the underworld, and then follow them back after he learns their business, pressing himself in somehow. Azrael can interrupt class someday in order to bother his brother...And as for Vox, I'm not entirely sure yet. 3/24/2009 #15 |
![]() As much as I dislike writing girls, they are needed. There can be more female teachers, and maybe a couple of girls that crush on Laycus since he's the new, hot teacher. They are teenagers, after all, and at the age of seventeen they are probably full of hormones, lol. I was thinking, the Art teacher I made, Lesley, what if he can recognize demons? There can be one of two reasons: One- he is bound to a demon himself, maybe by a contract. Two- it's a sort of ability that he was born with, and something he always was able to do. He's a calm, kind guy so he wouldn't bat an eye when he meets Laycus or the others. If anything, he'd be curious. I'm not sure either how to make Vox a part of it all....Hmmm, big dilemma there. We'll get to it sometime. 3/24/2009 #16 |
![]() This is true. I used to like them, and some are still cool, but boys are SO much better. I can make up a teenage girl or two, I suppose. ^^ I like the first idea. Lesley should be in a contract of a sort, but I don't know what kind of contract it should be. Think and compare ideas, then? I think Laycus would immediately recognise him as a contracted, so that could be involved. He'd be fascinated, and we know he'll want in Lesley's pants. Vox will be worked out when we need him. 3/24/2009 #17 |
![]() LOL. Of course, Laycus is a nympho. He may get everything he wants, but I'm not so sure he could get into Lesley's pants without a challenge(the name Lesley makes me think of rain and wet grass. It's a pretty image). Hmm, ideas for a contract... I don't imagine that he's in a contract that involves sex in any way. He's too...asexual for that. He's the type that would enter into a contract to save someone or lessen someone's burden. Oh, I think I've got a nice one. What if Lesley was in an accident when he was a teenager, and he got paralyzed to some degree, or couldn't draw/paint anymore? He is an Art teacher, so he loves to use his hands and be creative. He could have made a contract to be able to be artistic again...But what the demon wants in return, I'm not sure. 3/24/2009 #18 |
![]() Lolz, this is true. Well, you know he'll definitely try to get into those pants. If he really wants it - which you know he will - he'll even go so far as to woo. ...I like the idea of Laycus taking Lesley to dinner. Also, I think Lesley's contract should be with a female demon, since we already concluded we need more females. I like the reasoning you gave for why he's in a contract, but...I'll keep thinking for what the contract is. Oh, this is what I have going right now- I think Laycus is going to not show up at school that first day, but rather show up in the other interesting place I have him. And then he's going to end up needing to walk to school with Iova the next day (which would be a scene for you to write). That way I don't end up with a...Breathtaken-length chapter. 3/25/2009 . Edited 3/25/2009 #19 |
![]() The image og Laycus and Lesley having dinner together is lovely! They definitely should. Hehe, having dinner with candles on the table while talking quietly about demons and contracts, as if they were chatting about normal things. Maybe Lesley can be in love with his contractor, but he's never told her and rather keeps it from her? Not everyone can be gay -sweat drop- And what is this other, interesting place of yours, love? 3/25/2009 #20 |
![]() As much as a full population of gay males would be lovely, I agree (not that it'll stop Laycus...he just won't ever get what he wants for once). I think that's a good idea, if we ever figure out what his contract is, exactly. *pause* ...The house next door. 3/25/2009 #21 |
![]() The house next door? XD Not so far away...Don't forget that Iova lives in big house in a nice neighborhood. So, what could a female demon want that's not sex? XD. Question: do demons feel love the same way that humans do? If they do, then she might simply just be in love with Lesley. If she had her eyes on him since before his accident because she liked his work, then she'd probably grab the opportunity and bind him to her. Maybe she feeds off the emotions he puts into his art? I think that demons need different types of nutrition. Some take souls, others emotions, etc. 3/25/2009 #22 |
![]() Oh, I know. I have plans for the scene where Iova finds out about the whole next-door thing. Ah...she could always be cheap, and just want his soul. Or like you said, she could have wanted him. I do like the idea of her wanting his emotions, because that could be part of why he's so asexual, and that would make it a very interesting sort of love he'd feel for her, don't you think? (PS- Laycus does not need sex for nutrition. He's not an incubus, just a whore.) 3/25/2009 #23 |
![]() I figured, XD. We have no incubuses, have we? Vox likes suicidal teens, and Mephisto likes to steal things from Laycus, so... Okay, so she feeds of his emotions. I imagine that she would get very territorial when Laycus makes a move on Lesley. We could have a scene with her warning him to keep his hands off or something similar. What are your plans with the next-door-thing? -wags tail- 3/25/2009 #24 |
![]() I am personally not a huge fan of incubi and succubi, dunno about you. I think we have some interesting relationships and people here. I like the idea of that scene. It would be like, a huge argument, because Laycus wants as many men as he can...I dunno if you've watched UFO Ultramaiden Valkyrie or whatever, but he's like Pharm, or something like that (not positive on the spelling of her name). I was going to have Laycus be there when Iova gets home from school, standing outside or something, and Iova is going to wonder what the heck Laycus did with the people who lived there before, and I'll take it from there. I'm not sure what to do, but that can't possibly be the entire scene. 3/25/2009 #25 |
![]() I've never read anything with succubi/incubi, so I don't really know what the difference between them is. And I haven't watched UFO Ultramaiden Valkyrie (what a nifty title!), but I get your point. Imagine the two of them fighting, and someone comes along and wonders what the heck they are talking about, XD. "Lesley is MINE!" "He will succumb to me." "No, he WON'T!" -random teacher walking by: "..........................?!..............." Ohhh, I got a funny image in my head! Laycus is molesting a very much unhappy and poorly clothed Iova when his brother walks in. Matthew would never stop mocking him for being gay if that happened :P 3/25/2009 #26 |
![]() Succubus is a woman, incubus is a man. That's the only actual difference. They both have sex with people for energy. *shrug* That anime is so weird...and I've only watched like, two episodes...That'd be hilarious- since he's a teacher the other teacher would probably end up asking him about it in a break room or something, and I can see him being caught off guard for once. "Er...About that-" Sucks to be Iova in this story, doesn't it? We're going to torture the poor boy so much. 3/25/2009 #27 |
![]() I wouldn't have it any other way! I'm fond of the boy, so he has to suffer! My logic fails, but hey, love isn't reasonable. Teacher:" So...Earlier some woman was fighting with Laycus over you. What was that all about?" Lesley: -chokes on his coffee- "Er, about that....You see...." -scratches chin and looks embarrassed- 3/25/2009 #28 |
![]() Your logic is merely a reverse of the norm, and therefore not a total failure. If it was totally random, not just reversed, that would be total failure. Lolz. ^^ 3/25/2009 #29 |
![]() OMG KANI!!!! I just thought of a scene-type thing. ...Okay, you know how the teacher you had in the first teacher, Baker or whatever *is too lazy to actually look* was talking about conferences? Well, I'm changing what I had been planning initially for what I'm working on. Instead, Laycus is going to show up for those (I'm having them take place directly after school, so the demon can sweep in just as Iova is getting ready leave). Then he'll walk him home and it shall be cute and hot and other adjectives as such. 3/27/2009 #30 |
