It took a moment for the meaning to sink in but when it did, Kate's pale skin quickly turned pink with a rosey blush and she swallowed thickly,

"Me?" she repeated softly.

"I love you."

Kate's face only flushed a deeper red and she could not think of anythign to say. her heart thudded in her chets and caught in her throat. She bit her lip then leane dup just a little and pressed her lips to his.

He kissed her back tenderly.

Kate smiled and let him, her arms going around his neck.

He sighed and pulled away.

She pouted a little then caught herself, disentangling herself from him. Her cheeks were pink.

He kissed her hand.

Kate squeaked, surprised but allowed a small smile.

He pushed her nose.

She giggled and wrinkled her nose at him, leaning away to look at him with a smile.

"What are you thinking?"

She licked her lips absently then shrugged, stepping away,

"I'm thinking... I don't know Albie."

He laughed. "Typical Kaite."

Kate chuckled a little and shrugged,

"Sorry." she apologised, "... Now what?"

"Up to you."

She sighed again then gave a small smile,

"I still don't know." she admitted with a nervous laugh, biting her lip.

"What do you want most in the world?"

Licking her lips again, Kate smiled then shook her head,

"What anyone wants, I suppose. A husband, a family." she shrugged, twining her fingers together- she was not demanding that of him though.

"Who would fit those shes? What would they be like?"

"I don't know." she mumbled, glancing at him then away again. "If I had to say... It would... be you, i suppose." she admitted, her ears going pink.

He his mouth hung open for a second, then he kissed her, full of love.

Kate giggled but kissed him back, a little surprised at his reaction.

"Would you really marry me?"

Smiling shyly now, Kate shrugged,

"Only if you ask me properly." she answered with an impish grin.

He took her hands "Will you marry me, Kate? I mean it."

She bit her lip then grinned, nodding a little shyly,

"Of course I will, silly."

He hugged her. "But I have no ring," he remarked sadly.

Kate hugged him back then chuckled, stroking his head, "We will find one. I don't mind."

"We're really gonna do this," he grinned.
