  DaCivilWarBear More mountainous than Idaho, the climate begins to even out as the trains rumble towards the west coast. More and more towns and homesteads will crop up, and many pioneers decide to settle in eastern Oregon rather than in the Willamette Valley. The Blue and Cascade mountain ranges will be crossed, should the trains continue to the Willamette River. 12/20/2008 #1 |
