others may add characters if they wish but I'd like to keep this one small, so pleas ask me before hand and have a character in mind when you ask. Also keep in mind that any characters added will have to be introduced while Dorian is searching for his lost child... they will need to have to have a reason to be wondering the wild and furthermore a reason for tagging along with Dorian. GB... as the eventual goal is for Dorian to find Elsva's tribe feel free to throw in any characters you wish and Amazon NPCs as you see fit. ;) ))

There was a chill breeze threw the trees as Dorian made his way to the edge of the town and into the woods. He smiled despite himself; he always loved being so close to nature. The moon and stars shown full and bright. Tonight would be a good night for traveling threw these woods. As he was an elf the cold of the coming winter did not worry him, for his sake, but it did worried him for Elsva's sake, and the sake of his unborn child. He knew that those of human decent required warmth during the cold winters, especially those who were with children... and she... she was barely clothed to begin with. That in mind he began to search about for any signs of Elsva's passing.

Corlin shivers in the heavy brown hooded coat thing he's borrowed to come here. He wanders through the forest towards the tavern. Why come here? Because everyone still alive from that awful day was here and the powers below said that the full team should regroup. He's zoned out on this thought when he bumps into Dorian ((one break of rule no reaction. But then Dorian's reaction is upo to him so minimal breakage of rule to start interaction.))

Dorian looked at the man who had bumpted into him oddly. "Hello?" he said more of a question than a greeting, "What are you doing wandering these woods alone at night?"

((Would ya tell me please what he looks like?))

"Are you alright? You look like you're freezing," he said a touch of concurn in his voice. "Perhaps I can help you?"

((Oh, and you know it would REALLY help me if you would actually put your charaters abilities in their background/abilities post instead of just a refrence to where it is in your story... because I don't have time to go looking all over for it.))

"Oh," Dorian says looking at him in that rather disturbing way that Dorian does where he seems to be looking into rather than at you. "Do you need help finding your friends? I am searching from someone myself."

Dorian reached into one of the pockets of his cloak and pulled out a hand full of small bones, stones, crystals and the like that all had strange markings on them. Then dropped them on the ground. He studied them for a moment and then picked them up. "I need to head this way," he said turning southward.

"Warning noted, and fate doesn't talk to me, she shoves me with a sharp stick."

Dorian chuckled a bit at that, "Fate waits for no man, they say."

"But still it hurts - the prodding I mean."

Dorian continued scowering the land for signs of Elsva's passing as he walked. Soon he found a set of faint tracks, little more than minor disturbance to the abundance of dead leaves and foilage on teh ground.

"Here we are," he said pointing to the ground, "This is what I was looking for." He knelt down and examined them for a moment, "only a few hours old... if we hurry I may be able to catch up with her before she gets to her tribe."

Shivering slightly in the night chill, Elsva began to gather the wood and put a camp together for herself. In a little while, she had a merry little blaze, and a bit of rabbit meat roasting from her hunting expedition the day before. She was well-practiced at surviving in the wild.

((Think I have a character for Dorian to meet once they get to the village.))

Dorian didn't look back, he was too buisy following Elsva's trail. "How do you sugest we do that," he said softly, "her trail is light, barely there... I can not move faster than I can follow it." Then he raised his head, a new scent was on the breez, a fire, and someone cooking... and it was in the right direction... 'perhaps.' "I think she's made camp," he said softly, "we should take advantage of her stopping." He said not stopping as he continued his rather slow pace following Elsva's trail.

((I never told Corlin Dorian's name, he should not know it, please edit your post.))

"What sort of mage are you?" he asked not soundeing startled, though he looked obviously surprised.

Dorians went wide for a moment when the thing on Corlin's back dissapeared and then the other machine apeared. He handed him somee odd thing to put on his head. "I, I do not see how I can track her on that strange contraption," he said, "in any case... she's camped for the night, and not far off we'd be there by now if we hadn't stopped." With that Dorian knelt to examine the tracks again and then started moving off again.

Then he curses again as Corlin has ruined the trail. Exasperaited and unnderved he shudders. 'She was headed south,' he tells himslef, pushing his feelings aside for a moment, he knows she is to the south - he can still smell her camp fire. That in mind he makes a single leap up into the nearest tree and begins to tred lightly along the branches of the trees, with as much speed as his elven grace will alow. Knowing he cannot our run that man's... magic device, but knowing two that now he MUST reach Elsva by nightfal if he is going to find her, because he no longer has a trail to follow.

Quick as a cat, Elsva was standing, spear levelled at the odd male's chest. "Who are you? What do you want?" she asked, coldly threatening. "I have no idea what you're talking about. I have no daughters."

She held the spear tighter, ready to impale the man if he kept talking as he was.

Doran turned to face Elsva then, he shuttered visably when he looked at her. "The child," he said calm tone belaying his shaken apearance, "will be a male. I can assure you. I know you have no reguard for me, but I beg of you not to leave this child OUR child to exposure and death when he is bourn."
