she attacks him, cos she thought he was someone else.

she's all, who's side are you on?!

him: no one's! I'm my own side!

she doesn't like that and wants him to pick a side.

so how does he answer that?

just a, I'm on your side! :D?

or, a defiant "I'm my own side!"?

tricky business, this.

ahaa, and the plunnie says to let him kiss her to make her trust him.

haaa, that's more of a move for a girl.

I could always do the, "I wanna be with youuu"

*cue romance scrooge*

but that would be even more tricky to work out

blah.

I think I need to back up and redo this dialogue, cos it's not working XD

and go the original route, and be more defensive...

she'll brighten a little, and start talking about her lifestyle (cos that's what she does)

and then offer for him to go with her

Time to get them to a new, unintentional place on the other end of the door. :)

Hmm...I didn't want to move that ending bit to the next chapter, but maybe I should. That's a lot of jumping around through space after all the action the kids just went through.

But it's also a nice little reconciliation. I want to keep it where it is. I plotted it that way for a reason.

At the end of this chapter's first rough draft, it is 21 pages and 10,700 words. o.O
