This is set in the land of Anrien. The king and queen rule from the city of Melean. The country is surrounded by the Haelean Empire on the east, west and north, and the Emerald Sea on the south. It was once two separate, warring countries, Bashraan and Fariel, but they were amalgamated into one by Anjez of Bashraan and Karavere of Fariel, the grandparents of the current queen. The Besijelian people also live in Anrien as exiles since their country was conquered by the Empire 100 years ago. The closest Imperial city is Sontispont to the west, originally the capital of Besijel. For more general info, read my story 'The Chronicles of Anrien:Daughter of Kings.' It is the story of Karavere and Anjez but is a work in progress.
