Maere looked around her with interest as she strolled down the street, ears swiveling to catch the noises that surrounded her as she kept one hand lightly on her saxe knife. It was a big city, and all big cities had their thieves. Particularly, as she already knew, the Dark Elf cities. Shaking her head, she continued to swing along, her stride elastic and easy.

Surely something interesting could happen.

Danica loved the feeling of the wind through her hair and eyed the trees below them. She knew somewhere, her mercenary band was watching and noting it's destination. She knew a few scouts would come to look for her to help her out which would be a great help.

"So should we land just outside of Saitek Tia?" she yelled over the howling wind.

Kiyoshi quickly looked around "This is amazing!" He shouted watching the ground wizz by. "Yeah, just keep quiet, I don't need Tia roasting you, Danica stabbing you, Ian bugging you to death, what's his face yelling at you in portugese, and Trent... well Trent's just weird, the others I'm not familiar with yet." Replied Kouha in one amazingly long breath. Still holding Kiyoshi's hammer away from him just incase.

Kal pouted. "I could harm him as well," she informed Kouha. She pulled the wards away from her wings and hopped off Tia. "I haven't flown in so long," she confessed. "I got shot down last time." Ket turned to Kouha. "Don't you even think about shooting her down. She is not arrow-fodder."

"She hasn't bothered me yet, so I have no reason to." He replied to Ket, quickly turning back and grabbing Kiyoshi as he leaned to far over, nearly falling off. "Stop looking at the fu-... The ground..." Kouha snarled at him, biting his tongue. "Sorry." Replied Kiyoshi, pulling his cloak back over his head, his red eyes making an eerie glow in the dark.

(( I am very sry to say that I can no longer get on FP. My life is just to freaking busy and trying to get all of this done is messing up…ok taking away time that I need to be having my quite time w/ God and is seriously screwing up my life and getting things out of focas. So I’ve decided that I should take a break from FP for awhile and get things back in order. Feel free to have my ppl do whatever, die, fade out , or you can play with them it doesn’t matter. Tia nodded and began her carefull descent to the ground. They landed and for the first time she waited while they got off first before changing. At least if anything attacked them she could be better protecting this way. She knew some of Danica's followers would be here soon and tried not to look to tired from flying with such a load for so long. Unconsiously she made sure that Ian was close so she could better sheild him from any harm.

((In all honesty, and don't get me wrong-I love this RPG, I think we should put this on hiatus until our members return. We very well can't continue without Tia or Kyra, and my life has gotten REALLY busy as well. I'll still work on our story, of course, but for now-Real Life is more important, as are my original stories. [As well as my growing crush on the Harry Potter fandom...:D]

A cheery farewell to all my friends-but, I shall return! Just...let's stop for a moment.))

((No, seriously, MORE. Have him interact with the characters, or at least spot them. State his business and what he's doing there, not just what he looks like.

Another thing-Since this is being converted to book form, I need you to capitalize every sentence and use correct punctuation-it'll really help me and makes thing a lot easier to read. :D))

(no kouha, take it easy. haha. i'm gonna have to agree with ruby, you gotta do a little more. think of yourself writing a story. you want the character to be doing something as he approaches the group, there has to be a reason why he's here so state that in the guy's thoughts or say out loud or whatever you want. sorry if it looks like we're demanding something out of you, we just don't have much to work with there. =P)

Ceyla Sewell walked through the city, feeling around as she moved. Her fingers brushed the side of each building she passed, and her ears picked up the sound of gravel under her feet. A small frown brushed her lips when she realized where she was, but a sound behind her had her freezing mid-step. She couldn't help it; fear gripped her insides and for a moment she was unable to move.

((I guess that can you guys landing if you want, I don't know. =) ))

'This SO isn't good... why did I have to wander into the home of dark elves?' she thought, but swallowed the huge lump that was forming rapidly in her throat with some difficulty.

"Who's there?" she demanded, but the words didn't come out as intimidating as she'd meant them to. Dang, she hated it when people snuck up on her like this. No matter how much practice she'd had dealing with this sort of thing growing up, it never ceased to give her the wiggins. Once her muscles were able to obey the warning bells that were going off in her head, she started to turn around slowly. For comfort more than anything else, she gripped the hilt of her sword tightly, telling herself that she was capable of defending herself. That didn't bring much steadiness to her jumping nerves, but she managed to get her hands to stop shaking so much, and prepared herself for whoever or whatever it was that had her so freaked out.

Danica looked at the teenager with curiousity and then said, "what do you mean who's there? Can't you see that there's someone standing right in front of you?" She noticed the girl's hand go to her sword and she put a hand in a pouch with her throwing knives.

Ceyla's brow furrowed slightly. 'Wait... someone's in front of me?' she thought, and cursed under her breath, angry that her other senses seem to be failing her as well as her sight. She could've sworn that the noise was coming from behind her. She was so caught up in her annoyance at herself that she almost missed the woman's question.

Her chin lifted somewhat, and she straightened before answering, "No, I can't. It's kind-of difficult to see when you're blind." Her pride slightly wounded, Ceyla let out a breath, not sure if it was safe to let her guard down or not. After all, this could be a dark elf in front of her and not someone she could trust for all she knew. "Now, if you'd be so kind, answer my question."

Kal looked at the newcomer over Danica's shoulder. "Someone is a tad snappish," she commented, moving out from behind Danica. "And cannot see..." She pursed her lips thoughtfully and then turned to Ket. "Ket, can she see you?"

Ceyla raised an eyebrow, and shifted from one foot to the other before looking in the direction of the new voice. "And apparently you all aren't too keen on manners," she retorted, crossing her arms. "I'm not deaf, I can still hear you talking about me."

She was able to relax somewhat, though, as they hadn't tried to attack her yet. Shaking her head slightly, she uncrossed her arms and held out her hand, deciding that she would be the fist to introduce herself. "The name's Ceyla. Ceyla Sewell. And you are?"

Kal snorted. "Manners are overrated. Can you see Ket, me loverly spirit friend?" She shook her head. "I'm Kaledri Valenhart, by the way. Kal." She looked suspiciously at the hand. Deciding it was safe, she took it and bowed over it. "Where did you appear from, elf-ish Lady?"

Ian put a tentitive hand on Kal's shoulder, not sure if he should duck or not.

"Manners are indeed important, Kal. Especially here...if THIS place...I think." he laughed uncertainly and took his hand away, instead moving it to grasp the newcomer's. 'Where the heck do all these come from, anyway? Shiradin?'

"Ian Vaan, Master Mapmaker of King Keche, of the light elves. (Mind you, I'm human...ears, you know.)" He looked around. "And, as you...well, this here is Kyra." -said theif nodded- "...and Tia...but I don't think I should..." he drifted off, wondering how the girl would take the news of a dragon sitting right in front of her and not knowing it.

Kal made a face. "Manners," she muttered, clearly disgusted. "Even in this nasty, infested city, I refuse to use them." She shook her head. Ket glared at Ian. "You may be a princess, but you do not touch my ward. She is mine. There may be many other humans, but she is mine. Without me, she would be useless. Without her, I would be useless. You do not touch her." He folded his arms across his chest.

Ceyla tilted her head the side slightly, and a small smile touched her lips. "Yes," she said slowly, in answer to Kal's question about Ket, "I can see him. I thought I was going crazy, or maybe getting part of my sight back." She let out a soft laugh, and then felt who she guessed the person in front of her take her hand.

After listening to the man talk and feeling his hand on her own as well, she nodded to him, and then to everyone. "It's nice to meet all of you," she said, and smiled genuinely at how they interacted. If she was able to stick around them for a while, she imagined they could be quite an entertaining bunch. If only she could see them...

Ceyla looked up in the direction of the voice, wondering how tall the woman actually was. Deciding it wasn't really important and that she was probably just over-analyzing the situation as usual, she shrugged. "I'm here on business, I guess you could say, although what I do I don't really call work. Even though it's hard to have fun in a place such as this. But I pass through many places, as well," she responded, and smiled back, as she'd heard the woman's smile in her voice. "What's a group such as yours doing here, might I ask?"

Ian cut in, not sure if they should reveal their true purpose to the girl known as 'Ceyla'.

"Mapping business, is all. A mapmaker's gotta map, you know." He threw a furitive glance at Danica, willing her not to say anything of grave importance.

He managed a glare at the transparent Ket, and said kurtly, "Of course, SIR."-emphasaising the 'sir'-"But, you DO understand that it was a most chaste touch, right?" He muttered something like 'loverboy' and stomped off.

Trent, eager to see someone his age, jumped forward and grabbed Ceyla's hand. "Trent, messenger to King Keche-assigned to Master Ian. At your service!" He kissed her hand for effect, as Kyra was staring at him right at that moment.

Danica lightly slapped the back of Ian's head as she told Ceyla, "pay no heed to the guys. Name's Danica. It's a little dangerous to be wandering the street in such a fashion so would you like to join us for some food?"

She was immensely interested in the girl and decided that she would ask more quesitons about her later on.

Ceyla noticed the haste in the one named Ian's voice, but decided to ignore it for now. Instead she smiled, saying, "Yes, that does make sense." She supressed a frown at the tone of Ket's voice, and instead gave the spirit's departing back a slightly questioning look.

She was about to ask what Ket meant by 'loverboy,' but was taken by surprise when she felt someone else grasp her hand suddenly. Her blind eyes widened a bit, but she soon recovered and smiled in the direction of where his voice was coming from, saying, "Why, thank you, Trent. It's a pleasure to meet you..." she trailed off when she felt him kiss her hand, and found herself momentarily at a loss for words. Even though it was probably just part of his greeting, she couldn't remember the last time anyone had showed her that kind of gesture.

Thankfully, the one named Danica provided a greatly-appreciated distraction by introducing herself. Ceyla laughed at her comment about the guys, shaking her head slightly. Danica's next words caught her attention, though, and she couldn't help but smile at the unexpected invitation. "Well, I don't really have a choice in the fashion I'm in, but food sounds like a good plan right about now. Thank you," she said, feeling her stomach voice its agreement with a soft, low rumble. "Where are you all headed?"

Trent grinned as he grabbed her hand once more. "Walk with me, Miss, I'd be glad to help you. After all, I've heard that this place is quite dangerous, and we wouldn't want you getting hurt." He raised his free hand and brought it down in what he hoped was a dramatic gesture. "We're off to the land of Saitek, where black dragons and dark elves prance but-" he looked at her, and gave a gasp of joy when he saw her ears. "Lovely!" he exclaimed, and he couldn't resist reaching out his free hand and touching her pointed ears. "It's great to see another light elf-all the members of our party here are of different races." He happily marched forward, hoping he'd just made a new friend.

Ian shook his head at Trent's rambling. He and Kyra would have to knock him out later.

Ceyla was surprised when she felt Trent grab hold of her hand again, and heard the grin in his voice. She couldn't help but return it, and squeezed his hand slightly. Laughing, she said, "As far as I know, dark elves don't really prance, but I'd be happy to have your company."

She felt him touch her ears, and laughed again, ahaking her head. "You're an elf, as well?" she asked, but his next words peeked her curiosity. "What other races, might I ask?" Smiling, she walked next to Trent, keeping up as best she could, allowing him to lead her; something she rarely ever did with anyone.

Danica thought for a second and said, "well, I'm an elf," and selectively kept the word 'dark' out of the sentence since she was a light elf. "Ian and Trent are humans, our friend Tia is a dragon, Ket is a spirit of some sort, and Kal is a half human. Pretty much sums up why we should get outta the streets."

Ceyla smiled while listening to Danica, and couldn't help but feel excited. "A dragon? Really? And another light elf? That's amazing... I haven't run into very many of my kind over the years, and suddenly I find two right in the same group," she said, grinning slightly. She knew she was assuming that Danica was a light elf, but she just couldn't imagine a good dark elf, one that was willing to run with such a mixed group. That and she seemed too nice.

Ceyla tilted her head to the side, and then nodded. "But yes, with that many different races in one group, maybe we should head somewhere else that's not so open." She noticed that Danica only said that Kal was half human, but decided to let it go for now. She stifled a smile at Kal's words, and instead asked, "So... where shall we go?"
