Ah, sorry I wasn't on last night to answer you question! Generally, it's totally fine to add on to a place, but make sure that you check with the person who created the thread if you do something major. For example, if you made monsters in an area, that would be perfectly fine. We need plot and such to move us along. But if you wanted to do something like create a whole new nation within the land, you would want to make sure that that's okay with the original poster. Otherwise, you might interpret something in their original intent and take the thread somewhere they didn't want. If there's anything else you want to know, don't hesitate to ask.

Alright one more question then... I have two characters and I'm planning on keeping them as my only two mains (so far.) Can I temporarily add other characters into the story that are either going to die off soon or won't be seen really? For example Malice has to kill 11 of his kind before he can be the warrior of destruction or some shenanigan plot like that. Can I add one of them in the story without making a bio for them first?

As long as those sub characters aren't particularly fighting other main characters (besides mine) is it okay? If not I'm fine with putting a bunch of bios on, but I don't want to annoy you with a bunch of characters all piling in. If those characters ever do start to attack others I'll put a bio on them. Actually how many characters (ones with bios) are we aloud to have exactly?

To give you a quick answer on what I know, yes you can add a few characters without bios. For example, in Fieri Alius thread, how I added Macy, she's just a side character and I won't be using her as a main character, she wasn't important enough to have a character bio so I didn't post her with one. And as far as your question goes about how many characters with bios you can have, it's unlimited as far as I know. Of course I wouldn't post a bunch of characters and use them all in the same thread, that would be unfair to have the most characters because then you alone control alot of what goes on.

It will say so in the thread most of the time, if your unsure just ask the creator.

Does anyone know how to ask to create a new RP thread? I have an idea, but I don't want to just post the thread and wait for one of the admins to tell me yes or no. I want to know beforehand so I don't post a thread that'll be locked or deleted immediately.

Honestly, you really don't need to ask a moderator to make a thread. It is a nice formality, but you won't get in trouble or anything if you make a thread without asking. But basically, you can go ahead and post your idea as a thread, and see if people will get interested. We won't take it down or lock it unless you ask, or if it becomes a very old unused thread, in that case it will be locked but not deleted :)

Well, to answer your question the best way I can, it's not really reccomended for you to have one character and move her/him around threads on the forum at one time, especially if the threads have no relevance with one another. I reccomend you create a character for the different threads you want to participate in.

But, if you have your character within one thread, you can move him/her around different settings and areas in that thread. Does that help at all?

It's not a matter of having an open thread that takes any character, its having one character hop from thread topic to thread topic at the same time when the threads have no relevance with one another. Thats when it starts to become a bother to others rping with that person who is using only one character for everything.

Well then all you do is go to the first post of the selected thread, click on the settings wheel like you would if you were going to edit a post and there should be the option of 'pin topic'

Eldin isle is a huge festival where Oc's are teleported in from any dimension, there are multiple stories there. Fiery alius (sp?) is active enough too but they have the story line all figured put woth a main protagonist and everything, as long a you dont alter the story you can wandwr in there as well. Not sure bout the others tho.

There actually aren't very many easily accessed threads right now that are active, I'm noticing as I look through them.

Hockingson's Mansion is very new, and only Oto and I are RPing there currently. It's about a mansion that takes in stray magical creatures.

Fieri Alius is older, and there are several characters floating through, including mine, Willow's, Roar's, Liveey's, and Oto's. It's about a kingdom that would be easily taken over (?) originally, but we've kind of formed a main plot line around the king of the neighboring kingdom visiting and stirring up trouble.

Eldin Isle, I know literally nothing about, but it has lots of plotlines, and if you feel brave enough to jump in, I'm sure someone will pick you up.

Majannor...actually, just stay out of Majannor, haha. It's so complicated by this point that it would probably be more confusing than anything.
