"I-I didnt know you were there... I instinctivly shot a bird that I heard.." Chi explained. "Again, im really sorry..."

Her eyebrows rose. "A bird.." she smirked. "You have skill. And it's no matter about the deer there will always be more, and it saved me a job of cleaning an arrow. If you'll excuse me I really must be getting back to the castle."

"May I escort you Raven?"

"Honestly Kurt you really don't have to speak so formally to me. I'm just a 15 year old girl." Raven said.

He smiled up at her. "Right." Kurt looked over his shoulder. "Chi, come on."

Chi fiddled with her bow keeping a good distance away from Ravens horse. "O-okay." she was still happy and goofily smilin to herself from Ravens praise.

Kurt held the reins to Raven's horse. He scratched the back of his head. "So, Raven, how long will you be staying at the city?"

"I'm not really sure. My father knows I'm here but the city is still far from our estate, so I'm sure it's driving him nuts that I'm here. Eventually I'd like to stay here indefinitally." she murmered. "And how long have you been in the city Chi? Not long from what I can tell about you." she called back to Chi, who she knew was a well ways behind them, keeping her distance for a reason Raven didn't know.

"Oh uhm... I think about a week or so. its the longest Iv stayed in a city or town outside Iredeth." Chi replied. "Jem was kin enough to give me a place to stay, and it was really kind of him. I also met a king here, he knows about Iredeth suprisingly... It kinda scared me." Chi stated, she really likes Raven she didnt seem like her age at all composed and lady-like it was really nice.

"Ryon? Well his country is probably closer to wherever Iredeth is so it wouldn't surprise me. He's a bit of a tool if you ask me." she muttered dryly.

"A-a tool?" Chi looked crestfallen as she kept up with them from behind. "Thats... Sad..."

Kurt cleared his throat uncomfortably as he led Raven and her horse out of the woods and started walking towards the city gates. He looked back up at Raven. He had heard much about her from his time working at the palace. Her father was the richest man in Fieri Alius, besides the royal family, he was an inventor, and Raven was his only daughter who he was strongly protective over. Tragically blind from a horrible accident when she was younger so he had heard. Yet she was the most skilled hunter that anyone talked about, maybe even better with a bow than the prince himself. All Kurt felt was wanting to get to know the mysterious young girl better. "Staying in the city indefinitely? How would your father allow that?"

Raven ran her hand through her hair. "Marriage." she murmered, which would be the obvious and only choice she could take to be allowed to stay away from her family's estate.

"I see." Kurt murmered as they entered into the lower ring of the city. Raven was a highborn lady of quality, and Kurt knew there were few men that would be allowed to court her.

"So Chi," Raven said, trying to change the subject, "tell me more about where your from. Your friends, family, lovers."

Chi turned ridged. She disliked this topic, but told Raven anyways. "I come from Iredeth, if you ever hear tales of it you will be fed fairy tales of magic, weapons, war, and vast powers that cant even be explained logically." she stated. "My parents were killed in the war... My foster parents hated me. After my foster mother died i escaped and I have been running away from that place for about two years now. I have no lovers, heck i barley know the feeling. All the kids in Iredeth hated me, and many people around there give me cautious looks of fear and hatred.... Jems my only friend here." Chi switched from being sad and dark to happy.

Raven frowned. She knew the feeling of being isolated. "I'm very sorry to hear that. But I am your friend too." she said with a small smile.

Chi beamed. A huge grin reaching her cheeks. "Yay! Snow is my friend too!" She then gazed at Kurt. "did ya hear that Jem? Shes my friend!"

Raven raised an eyebrow, curious if the girl had a mental issue or not, then she dismounted her horse once they reached the castle. "Thank you, for escorting me." she reached up on her tip toes and pressed a kiss to Kurt's cheek.

Kurt's cheeks flamed red. "Uhm, yes, sure. Of course, anytime." he bowed his head respectfully.

Chi tilted her head curiously at the two before saying. "It was nice meeting you Snow."

"Snow?"

Chi smiled at her as she explained. "Its rude for a w-I mean... Person like me to call you by name where I come from. It is a custom to create a nickname based off the persons air, personality or appearence." Chi nodded to herself. "This man is Jem, you are Snow."

"So, why Snow?" Raven asked, tilting her head so some of her hair fell into her face.

Chi smiled a bit embarressed. "If you dont mind me saying, I think your nice, gentle and as beautiful as freshly fallen snow." Chi glanced at Jem. "I named him Jem because of his eyes, they are like emeralds sparkling like a gemstone."

Raven blushed. "Well, thank you." she turned to Kurt. "I'm working on target practice tomorrow morning, would you like to come?" she asked.

Kurt brushed some of her hair out of her face. "I would love to. I'll see you in the morning then." he took her hand and kissed it. He walked away with Chi around to the west side of the castle, but he looked over his shoulder at Raven while he left.

"So..." Chi asked as she observed Jem closley. "Is she familiar to you?"

"Familiar? How so?"

"You looked funny just then." Chi pointed out bluntly. "I was wondering if you knew her from sonewhere... That face... I cant place my tongue on it... Iv seen it somewhere." Chi snapped her fingers. "a long lost sister?"
