"Tia's in...her cave. Don't worry about her." Ian remarked, before inching away to hide behind Danica. He shuddered at the sight of the moose's innards. "What the hell is up with all the bloodlust?" He whispered to Danica.

Danica cocked an eye and said, "that part of our training here in Myrkur. That's what part of what I'm supposed to help you out with for the next while depending on how fast we can get this done. I'm doing this as a favor for Tia since she can't bring herself to do it."

The dark elf sighed and turned around to face him. "Please, you may not like this training but do it as a favor for Tia. She already thinks the worst so we need to prove her wrong by mastering this" she partially pleaded, partially seriously.

Ian stumbled back a few feet. "D-do what? What training?" He clenched his fists. "I don't remember Tia saying ANYTHING about training or what ever. I'm normal, I'm a mapmaker, for the Star's sakes, I don't need your 'Magic'! I-I...I want to go...home." After feeling a severe pain suddenly surge through his clenched hands, he looked to see that his fingers had taken on a perculiar shade of light blue.

Danica's expression hardened as she explained as much as she could without saying anything what Tia had told her. "Tia thinks the worst, I said that already, so without you knowing specifically what we were going to do, I said we were going on a trip which we are going to. Now, if you refuse this I'm going to warn you right now, you're going to need to keep a lid on that temper as well as never come back to Silver Point or the Forests of Myrkur where you'll meet Tia, Kouha, Kal, or anyone else including myself. You go through this, not only will you get to go on some adventures instead of sitting in some crummy castle, but you will prove something to Tia that she believes is not true but something I do believe. You're no longer just Ian Vaan the mapmaker for King Keche. You have to choice to be much more than that. So... the question is, do you accept or reject the training?"

"I meant so Tai could cook this thing..." He muttered to himself, keeping out've their conversation. He started up a larger fire, and made a rack of sticks high above it, tossing good meat onto the rack. "And now, we wait." He said sitting against a tree, laughing at bits and pieces of their conversation.

Ian fell to the ground and huffed indignantly. "It's not fair, I didn't know! I was stupid, consuming Dragon's Blood. Heck, I was stupid for even coming here in the first place. I never should have shown myself, I should have ran...But," he looked up to stare Danica right in the eye. "I suppose not."

He crossed his arms around his knees, curling himself in a little ball and musing to himself.

Pros? Adventures, of course. And...perhaps this was the 'True' thing Danica was mumbling about...love? Maybe. Learning 'Magic'? Well, screw that, he just wanted to get some mapping done! He supposed he could map some extraordinary places during this journey...

Cons? Adventures, again. He'll probably die during this journey to...wherever it is Danica's going on about. He's already died...twice. Or, at least, he thought he did. Well, lotsa stuff was screaming 'NO!' at him. And, sitting in a lavish castle DID have its own pros, after all. He and Trent could simply pack up and leave this world behind, return to King Keche, and maybe find happily-ever-afters with some nice girls...But, was that what he REALLY wanted, when something so wonderful was already dangling in front of his (bespectacled) face?

He looked up at Danica again. "I'll give it a chance then, but there's one thing I want to do first." He stood up and brushed his signature coat off-...wow, another pro to go. Everyone loved his coat...-, before clenching his fist once more-it was glowing purple, for some reason-and smirking. "Let's go back to Natalia, I'm in dire need of certain special supplies-ones only Keche has. And, I'm sure Trent would like to explain to his family WHY he's been gone and nearly raped by a thief the past few days. He smiled gently, before humming a whimsical tune and walking back in the direction of Tia's cave.

((Ian's just being stubborn, he'll come along though. Gotta make it somewhat realistic, ya know. And now...back to Natalia! YAYNESS! More Keche humor! I've grown rather fond of the short-life king. Heh.))

Kal looked interested. "Are there lots of people in Natalia? Could I come with you all?" She glanced around. "I mean, searching for herbs to dye candle wax with gets boring astonishingly quickly. I'd love a brief respite." She shrugged. "He probably wouldn't like it if I took a vacation either...So, could I come?"

He walked a few more steps, "Now, let's go explain to Tia what our plan is, shall we?"

Ian smirked to himself before turning around and spreading his arms wide. "Oh, great Stars, no!" Gaining a dramatic tone, for he was still a bit bitter over the whole ordeal, "She is the Proveyer of the Peaks, the Soarer of the Skies, she is a great..." he paused for effect, "...She is a great DRAGON!" He bowed then smirked at Kal. "Nah, she's a half dragon we've been traveling with. She owns that mountain over there and the villages on the other side. She's also very weird, so watch your hat when you see her."

Turning back around, he glanced over his shouler, "C'mon Danica, let's go."

"...A...half-dragon...?" Kal's face assumed the 'wtf' expression. "You expect me to believe that you know a half-dragon? Besides, how am I supposed to 'watch my hat'? I don't even have a hat!" Suddenly, her face lit up. "It's one of those human things, isn't it? All humans are supposed to have hats...but why don't you guys have any?"

Ian turned and gained a simpering smile. "Oh, and what are you supposed to be then? I have a hat, you see," he gestured to his traveler's cap, "And, besides, it's an expression." He then rose an eyebrow, and smirked, "And yes, I know a half dragon. Perhaps I wished I didn't, but that would be most nonsensical. What of it?" He let out a laugh, and proceeded to walk farther up the path. "I'll show you then, c'mon!"

Ian rose an eyebrow at his gunman comrade. "Am I the only human here? (Well, Kyra and Trent are human but that's beside the point...) But, I assure you Kouha, I'm the most serious person you shall ever be aquainted with during this little expedition. Everyone else...well, they're just nuts." He straightened his coat and resumed his usual stern-with a hint of quirkiness-expression, but as he moved his hand up to right his hat, his hand was met with a ring of flowers. "Oh my...well..." He took the frivoulous thing off his head, and blushed. "Right then, onward!"

((Ian can be quite the wimp, quite comical, quite serious...really depends on the situation. Most of the time though, he can be quite the quirky pansy, and that's why he's so LOVVVVEDDD! :D -coughcough- Well, anyway, on to Silver Point!))

Steps of grass fill the ears of the Black Mage, as Adine walks upon the Forest of Myrkur. He thinks upon his next destination, 'Lets see here...I'm at Forest of Myrkur and If I keep going the direction I am going I should be upon this place called Sliver Point...even so apparently(sp?) there is a dragon there, at least that what the old man said and hopefully there is a Inn or some place I can eat something.' Adine heard his stomach growl.

But it seem Adine then quickly notice something, smoke has flew upon the skies as he look worry. 'What The? A fire?! I better go check it out.' Adine sprinted his way to the fire...but so it seem, by the time he was about 1/4 a mile there the smoke seem to have stop.

'Seem that something else has-'Adine thought as he heard his stomach growl...again. 'Ugh, I can't take this hunger no more, If I keep going like this I'm going to be dead few hours from now'

But, Adine smell something, something delicious, he couldn't quite point his finger on it. It smell like...meat. Adine started to drool. He quickly ran again going for the delicious aroma. As he was about a 50 feet away he started trying to be sneaking as he slowly walk, he then saw a few travelers as it was a bit far away from him to get a good look.

'I better hid my face, just in case' he push his hat down hiding his face and grab his book from his pocket as he look for a spell. He didn't have enough energy to make any spells, but he look upon the travelers but it seem that could probably give him a easy lost but also the food was gone.

'My Stomach......' Adine's stomach growl again as he went down on his knees. "So hungry...only thing driving was that food...maybe-" before he could finish that sentence he fell down as he went to unconsciousness from exhausted and hunger as his hat fall upon the grass releaving(sp?) his face...

(Hmm...I always seem to make that kind of opening....weird...)

Ian jerked his head up. "What the...?" He stalked over to where a dark haired youth was unconscious. He smiled, bemused, '...Kinda like Trent...Heh.' he thought to himself, as he turned to look at his comrades. "Oh look, another! Let's throw him in, shall me? We should start a business or something, start charging people for joining!" He leaned down, and picked up the boy's hat. "Oh Stars..." he murmured, "...I-I...I've always wanted a hat like this!" He had, indeed, missed the hint that the man was a mage. Plucking the hat on his already capped head, he pulled the large thing over his reddening ears. His cheeks glowed with pleasure, as he turned his attention towards a nearby tree and rested his hand against it. Nearly instantly, sparks started traveling up the cracks in the bark, until a small rut was eventually singed into the tree.

"I could get used to this." Ian muttered, nodding as the huge hat fell over his eyes.

Kouha finished the rest of the moose, tossing the leftover and unwanted bits away. He walked over to the boy and tossed him over his shoulder "Quit playing dressup, and let's take him to Tia already, Jesus." He growled stubbornly, resuming the walk to Tai's cave.

Ceyla Sewell walked through the forest, feeling around as she moved. Her fingers brushed the bark of each tree she passed, and her ears picked up the crackle of leaves under her feet. A small smile brushed her lips, but a sound behind her had her freezing mid-step. She couldn't help it; fear gripped her insides and for a moment she was unable to move.

'This SO isn't good...' she thought, but swallowed the huge lump that was forming rapidly in her throat with some difficulty.

"Who's there?" she demanded, but the words didn't come out as intimidating as she'd meant them to. Dang, she hated it when people snuck up on her like this. No matter how much practice she'd had dealing with this sort of thing growing up, it never ceased to give her the wiggins. Once her muscles were able to obey the warning bells that were going off in her head, she started to turn around slowly. For comfort more than anything else, she gripped the hilt of her sword tightly, telling herself that she was capable of defending herself. That didn't bring much steadiness to her jumping nerves, but she managed to get her hands to stop shaking so much, and prepared herself for whoever or whatever it was that had her so freaked out.
