If the point is to drive up post count, why not create a thread just for 'grinding' the numbers? That way, we can still have offtopic conversation on The Pit and not worry about spam. Or, leave the Pit full of lyrics spam, and we create a separate thread that is spam-free.

Now that I understand the goal of spamming, I'll gladly join it, but would rather it not be where it intrudes on real conversation.

well people only spam when there is no-one here to have a conversation with, which happens often as we are a small forum with crazy time-zone clashes.

I was actually thinking that this morning. Why not create another Pit. Round everyone up for a quick spurt of spamming, and get 'er done in like, half an hour? That's 4999 extra posts right there. I think it'd go by quickly if we had everyone pitch in all at once, yeah?

Haha, thanks for reminding me about LJ Xen. I almost forgot again. I don't know why I even got the damn thing; it seems to slip my mind all the time. But I've just posted a new entry and hopefully I remember to do it again before too long. I was gonna comment on your latest post, but I really had nothing to say. "Good stuff" or "Looks pretty good" just seem kind of lame haha.

I don't really want good comments so much as I don't want disgusting comments. If that makes sense :p
