I was reading this book about writing once, and she had this idea of creating a folder for 'good ideas to use some other time' where you store it. Of course in reality there is no other time, you won't use the idea, but it is easier to part with if you think it's not gone forever. It's like telling that part of your writing 'can we still be friends?'

That's a good idea! I always end up writing out the scenes and then just stowing them away in some file called "extra back up", as if that was supposed to back anything up...the document is over 200 pages long now because I've been using it since I first started writing. It's an entire schizophrenic collection of dumped story scenes ranging from stuff I wrote it middle school up until now. Kind of fun to look through...but also disorienting, XD

Maybe it wouldn't be such a bad thing doing NaNoWriMo.

I mean, I would only have to obsess over a novel for only ONE month. And even though I have two other projects going, if this third one should say, crash and burn terribly because I don't even know what it is right now, then who cares?

Deck has over 30 pages for grad school applications as it is, and INSIWB has many chapters and most readers aren't even caught up.

SO. This could be a fun thing. ...now I just need an idea...and motivation...and a plan.
