"I'm sorry, I couldn't help it." The elderly man winced. "It has been so long since I've met someone new, though. Forgive me."

"That's alright since there's only 6 kids here so far and who knows how many adults it would be awhile before you met anyone new" She said. Avilin returned her attention to the book on the table flipping through the pages to look for something interesting.

"Try page forty-seven." Aaron suggested, his voice stronger.

Avilin turned to page forty-seven. on it there was... ((I got nothing what's on page 47))

"It has a table of contents. What you skipped over was the introduction. I suggest using the table of contents to find a specific spell, or herbs, or...whatever you need to find in the book."

"Oh well this helpful" she said looking at the page. She turned to page ten which contained a simple levitation spell. It really was simple the page said all you had to do was tap whatever it was you wanted to levitate with your wand and imagine it floating. So she tapped her own head with her wand and floated 3 feet in the air.

"Well done!" The elderly man clapped, and Aaron smiled. "How's that wand working out for you?"

"The wand is working good so far". She said still floating. "but how do I get down from here?" As she said this she landed, though not as gently as she would've liked.

"Is your whole family granted with magic?" Aaron asked.

"uh-huh" said Avilin."Or at least all the girls, my big brother is the only guy witch in my entire family"

"Like a warlock? Or wizard?"

"Yeah pretty much."

There was silence, then Aaron asked, "Why did you choose to become a student here?"

"My mom found out about this place from somewhere. She decided to send me here because she thought it would be a good idea to send me to a school that had kids closer to my age. Since most of the other schools like this are for older kids. Not that much drama I know"

Time has frozen and everyone is frozen in the same position for 3 months.

(XDD I'm sooo sorry)

"I don't think we have enough students yet for drama." Aaron mused.

(It's alright, but what happened for 3 months? I thought this place had died.)

"We don't have enough students for anything."

Aaron laughed weakly. "Yeah. Look at this library. It's beautiful, but barely anyone uses it. You can hear an echo if you shout enough."

The elderly man took the hint, and bellowed hello at the top of his lungs. There was a tremendous echo, and a showering of dust fell from a bookshelf.

(I have no idea. [cough] I guess we need more people)

"Well at least the books are dusted" Avilin said

"I've been here for...a while, and I haven't seen another kid"

The elderly man frowned, closing his eyes. "There's actually one in here somewhere...in the dreaming section I believe. His name's Damian, but I assure you, he isn't the social type."

"He must not be I haven't heard anyone else talk but us, I'll go say hi" She runs off to meet this kid but then stopped when she realized, she had no idea where the dreaming section was, or what it was for that matter. "Where's the dreaming section and what kind of books are there?" Avilin asked.

"On the...fourth? No, fifth floor. It's the section with dark graywood bookshelves. It's basically all about dreams and nightmares. Anything related to that." The elderly man said. "For instance, if you dreamed about a fire in the library the night before, you might want to find a book on Precognitive Dreams."

Avilin entered the conveniently placed elevator and pressed the button with to go to the fifth floor to meet this kid. She petted one of her ghost cats as the elevator went up.

(Just read Damian's description, this will be interesting).

Damian was perched on top of a bookshelf, reading Nightmares Vol. VI

The elevator opened and Avilin entered the fifth floor. She found a boy sitting on top of a bookshelf, reading a book that had the words Nightmares Vol. VI in big red letters. She saw him and said "hey kid, what's your name?"

Meanwhile

Galileo appeared from the shadows on the first floor. "Hi" he said "has my sister been here?"

He looked up from the book and fixed her with a long stare. "Damian." He said finally before returning to the book.

"A girl by the name of Avilin?" the elderly man asked. He was supporting Aaron, helping him to a chair.

"Avilin" she said with a smile. "So whatcha reading?" she asked

"That would be her." Galileo said "So she's been here?"

Damian pointed to the title without saying anything.

"Yes. In fact, she just went up to the dreaming section of the library--it's on the fifth floor, with dark graywood bookshelves--to say hello to another student."

"Why would you want to read about nightmares? Isn't that depressing?" Avilin said

"Oh ok. I hope she doesn't bug this other student too much." Galileo said "She means well, but sometimes she can be a little bit...annoying to put it bluntly, and if the other person doesn't know how to deal with her things tend to happen."

"No."
