![]() Vincent grinned, "Lead the way Prof." He said sticking his hand out, then turned to Penny, "You wanna come with me?" 12/17/2009 #121 |
![]() Penny grinned. "Yeah! And I can learn stuff too!" 12/17/2009 #122 |
![]() Vincent grinned back, "We both will." He said. 12/17/2009 #123 |

![]() Casper shot through the wall, grabbed a tray, a bottle of Moonwater and a Druum, zoomed to a table and sat there. 12/29/2009 #125 |
![]() Busting open the door as she crashed into it, she rolled along the ground until a table stopped her from going any further. "Ha! Where are you, Casper?" She looked at the room upside down as her legs lay tangled with the table. 12/29/2009 #126 |
![]() "Right here." Casper smirked, eating calmly at a nearby table. "Need me to get you off the floor again?" 12/29/2009 #127 |
![]() Cidney wiggled in shock, "What? How'd you get here so fast?" Merging herself to the table she moved through the metal so that she was no longer stuck. Picking up her board she frowned, "I was sure I got here faster..." 12/29/2009 #128 |
![]() Casper was smug. "Energy...including ghosts, and light. Ergo, I traveled at the speed of light while able to phase through objects. And I knew where the cafeteria was." 12/29/2009 #129 |
![]() Cidney huffed in defeat as she muttered under her breath, "Cheater... Where get food around here anyway?" 12/29/2009 #130 |
![]() Casper mock frowned. "Oh, I don't know...the cafeteria bar?" He said, gesturing to long counters of food at one wall. "Or the food replicator." He pointed to a machine. 12/29/2009 #131 |
![]() Cidney blinked, "Food replicator? Now that I have to see. Hurrying over to the machine she grinned, "So I can get whatever I want out of this? Hmm, then I want three rice cakes, four potato tempura, and one large pickle." After having gotten her food she returned to Casper, "What are you having to eat?" 12/29/2009 #132 |
![]() Casper blinked. "Eating Druum, drinking Moonwater." 12/29/2009 #133 |
![]() "Those are definitely some interesting food names." Setting down her food and sitting across from him she chuckled, "I prefer Japanese food, but because of my ability I can also eat metal. Cool, huh?" 12/29/2009 #134 |
![]() Casper blinked again. "Cool." (That's so weird though...I used to dream of a robot family, and I always had so much fun imagining what they ate--'Dear, eat your door handle, it's good for you!) 12/29/2009 #135 |
![]() Cidney dug into her food wondering all the while, why she seemed at such ease around Casper. ((That's funny, but I got the idea from a manga called Fairy Tail. One of the characters Gazille eats metal.)) 12/29/2009 #136 |
![]() (Gosh darn it, I thought it was an original idea at the time. Of course, I was nine then. Oh well.) Moonwater was Casper's favorite drink, and, oddly enough, it wasn't alcoholic. Drinking it, he wondered silently why he was actually opening up to somebody. Could she control people's emotions, like Penny could control their physical movement? 12/29/2009 #137 |
![]() ((Well it probably was original at the time. The there's the animated Robots movie where they ate metal.)) Finishing off her rice cakes, she smiled, "I met someone some time ago who said that some people can have dual abilities. Do you have more than one?" 12/29/2009 . Edited 12/29/2009 #138 |
![]() "As you know, I can transform into any form of energy, even it's extended versions. Each form allows me different options. As a ghost, for instance, I can fly, turn invisible, summon ethereal energy...as electricity, or light, I can cause blackouts, zap people and things, short out anything, and hotwire anything, and so on." 12/29/2009 #139 |
![]() Cidney hummed, "At least you have powers that are really interesting." 12/29/2009 #140 |
![]() "Metal's cool, too--in fact, I think there's a guy, a professor or something, that has some sort of power related to metal. Maybe you two would get along really well." 12/29/2009 #141 |
![]() "Maybe. I'm sure it's worth looking into." Cidney finished her pickle and looked towards Casper, "But it's not my metal ability that I don't like." 'Are you saying you don't like us?' Cidney shook the voice from her head. Not in the mood to deal with them right now. 12/29/2009 #142 |
![]() "What is it then?" 12/29/2009 #143 |
![]() "..." Cidney was debating about whether or not she should tell him the truth or not. Throwing all caution to the wind she simply thought that if he was a real friend he wouldn't think of her as a freak. "I can create personalities. This goes hand-in-hand with my ability to mess with memories. It's the reason my adoptive father makes me work part-time with the FBI. With this ability I can fool any lie detector and create a whole new life so convincing despite the fact it is fake... I ran into some troubles though and so father sent me here to 'fix' them. Unfortunately now I'm permanently stuck with several different personae of myself." 12/29/2009 #144 |
![]() "So...you've got split personalities?" 12/29/2009 #145 |
![]() "That's it in a nutshell, but I can also cause other people to get them too." 12/29/2009 #146 |
![]() "Really?" Casper leaned forward intently. "You can do that? Could you do that? For me? Give me 'voices'? As long as it doesn't hurt you..." 12/30/2009 #147 |
![]() Cidney blinked in shock, "You'd willingly want me to give you such a curse? Why?" 12/30/2009 #148 |
![]() Casper shifted uncomfortably. "Oh...no reason. But could you do it? For me, if it doesn't...affect you somehow." 12/31/2009 #149 |
![]() Cidney hesitated before nodding, "I'll do it for you, since you're my first friend." Standing up she moved to stand behind Casper. Resting her forehead against his hair she placed her hands on both side of his head. "Just relax." As she probed into his mind, memories flashed before her. Ignoring them as best as she could she quickly went about creating a separate personality from Casper. It was a little tricky, but all she had to do was copy Casper's memories and thoughts and place them into a semi-different perspective. The personality would completely depend on Casper, but at least it wouldn't be harmful for him. As she began to finish up, her body began to feel heavier. The last time she had tried doing this for someone she had ended up copying his personality onto herself and acted as a clone of him for weeks until she fixed it. Finishing with the entity, she began to pull away from his mind, leaning her body against Casper's unconsciously. 12/31/2009 #150 |
