I just saw the Brady Bunch and it's reely good. Why aren't there stories like that? I saw a few on fanfiction but they weren't very good.

What was up with the guys' hair after the first year?

Marcia

"Hey you guys! AH MY NOSE!"

It's called let's make our show look cool and modern by following current fads. Who cares if it'll make our show look embarrassingly dated in the future? That's why the 1978 King Kong is today more obviously dated than the 1933 original. The original didn't try to look cool. People just wore ordinary clothing. While it's still outdated, dresses and business suits don't age like leisure suits and side burns have.

Suspense writer Dean R. Koontz has warned people against making their novels too modern, especially in using too much modern slang. Cool has remained in popularity long after slang words far more recent have vanished but that's unusual. There's no way of guessing what might remain in and what might suddenly go out. Groovy is said to have become uncool when Marcia used it on the Brady Bunch in the early 70s, since she used it in such a way that it was laughed at by the rest of the cast that heard her use it and kids watching it grew up thinking it was uncool because it was uncool in the show.

Too many stories on this site are alike.

I don't think too many people are actually reading stories here unless they know the writer.

I also suspect that few writers actually read stories. Most of them seem to just be getting their ideas from anime and video games. And of course Twilight.

And three Twilight rip off movies are coming. Zombie, witch, and parasitic alien. As if someone falling in love a sparkling vampire wasn't warped enough already.

You're not supposed to fall in love with vampires. You're supposed to scream and run away from them.

Somebody falls in love with a zombie? Triple ewwww....

Vampires suck...blood that is, I think Dracula from Hotel Transylvania was scarier than Edward Cullen lol.

I say inspiration can come from anywhere, take Archimedes Principal and the word "Eureka" for example when Archimedes stepped into a bathtub he then noticed that the water level rose...inspiration friend.

Three apples hit Isaac Newton on the head. He didn't figure it out right away. He made apple pie. Then he got it.

Inspector "Eureka means we've found it!"

George "Ungahwa mean...it dark in there!"

Too many times school stories are just excuses to teach kids lessons. Like those boring educational shows like Sesame Street and Arthur and all the rest. Nobody would watch those things for fun, they're retarded. Kermit the Frog bit Vincent Price one time. Why can't Count Count chase people trying to bite them and count how many get away or something?

The original Scooby Doo, Who's S-s-scared? was rejected and they were forced to dumb it down and make the comedy relief dog the star. Be interesting to watch Who's S-s-scared? and see what they had planned before Scooby took over. Lots of Fred punching ghosts most likely. Somewhat like Jonny Quest or Terrytoons' final cartoon Sally Sargent.
