Jake twitched. Okay, so maybe going back to school was not as great an idea as he had originally thought it would be. He tossed the magazine back in Hikaru's direction, and muttered, "Get out of my way." He pushed past him and continued on down the hallway, wanting to make some sort of discovery.

Catsy walked out the classroom and saw Jake throw the magazine at Hikaru which hit him in his head. "Jake..." she said, "you could be nicer..."

Jake glared at her, and continued to walk down the hallway, trying to see if he could spot anything unusual that would either help him find out exactly where he was, or help him return home.

"Maybe, you're just not very good at detecting such powers..." She seethed as her energy flowed out of her and made Jake's pants fall to the ground as she walked away and heard a crowd of people laughing at him. 'Take that...' If he wanted to make this hard for her, she'd do the same thing back for every moment of annoyance.

"Because I had a vision of whatever that is causing the problem in this world... is watching your every action and wanting to kill the one you call... um, what was her name? Q'aadara, I believe... but, first... they want to get a hold of your powers..." She said hallowly... it became obvious they were no longer speaking in a physical way but a spiritual way.

"Your powers would be like using a tracking device... much too dangerous..." She went on to explain.

She paused for a moment, thinking for a moment. "Maybe, she isn't... maybe, they know something you don't know... or maybe, they're planning on using her against you." She said with her hand on her chin in thought.

"I have heard that in this world... resurrecting is much easier done even without powerful magic." She found herself saying without thought.

The library that was found by Jake wasn't exactly the place found in paradise, more like the devil's groundwork of a place. Aoki looked up the moment he saw Jake walk inside, his naturally violet eyes keeping on him carefully and intently.

"Can I help you?" A woman walked up to him, a smile on her face though it was obvious that the smile was well-practiced after so many years. "Should you not be in school?"

The woman smiled slightly, her grin turning to a frown. "Well, if you need anything... ask him for help." She pointed to Aoki whom pretended to be reading a magazine that had obviously not come from the library.

Aoki stood up, his violet eyes keeping the pure mystery that it always held and the looks of almost knowing too much for his own good. He frowned, keeping the book in his hand very close with a full moon and eyes barely shown and the image of people showing up every once in awhile on the cover as he walked over.

"You're not going to find what you need here..." He said nonchalantly. "Your future... is important, eh?"

Aoki looked at the cold male with his violet eyes for a moment as he suddenly smiled slightly. "That is none of your business," He said with a smirk, "if you don't wish to hear what I have to say, I don't have a need to stay... nor do I wish to, Jake..." He said as if his name were so natural to come off so naturally and with a slight malice to the tone.

"It is your life and world at stake... not mine, anyways." He said as he walked away, his body disappearing as if he were some ghost and where he was sitting at, there appeared to be someone else whom the librarian was talking to and asking the kid if he had asked him for his help yet.

School ended and Catsy walked out with a couple of males speaking to her but her ignorance of male's wanting to have an advancement on her kept her speaking to them and enjoying the conversation. She looked around wondering where Jake could possibly be and whether he was okay at the moment.

Throwing her hair in a ponytail, she walked off the school property and began to try to go looking for him without using any powers to find him, knowing that detection of her would be quite easy here.

Jake, having given up with finding anything in the school library, decided that he should perhaps try a different one. He left it, and scanned the immediate area for a way to get to another one.

A thousand options went through his head, as he considered the possibility of sleeping in the park for the second night in a row.

He didn't want to have to stoop to having to ask for help. That was something that he never wanted to do, but the words came out of his mouth before he could stop them.

"Sure. I'll come."

"Any items that you may need added to your room... or even a camera for your own needs?" She asked, not bothering to look up at him when he raised an eyebrow, knowing full-well he did that without looking.

She took out a notebook and nodded. "Mn-hmn... so you don't want anything in your room to make it more convenient?" She said trying to make things easier on him even if that meant getting a refrigerator added to his room so that they wouldn't have to see eachother all the time.

A girl watched them from another Place. They really had no idea who they were? She found it hard to believe, even though she had been briefed on them beforehand.

Why was she doing this, anyway?
