"Anybody translate drunkenness?" Haji asked in a comical tone, somehow there was a sound of someone making the sound of a funny joke in the background. "Alvena, calm down... it may help ot keep her calm later on..."

Alvena twitched slightly at being told to calm down. She didn't lose her temper very often, but when she did it wasn't exactly a good thing for the people near her.

Lior chuckled. "I think that we'll be able to find this druid girl. Won't be too hard."

"No, it won't," Lior remarked, studying his surroundings for a moment, "she's most likely still pretty close. Hopefully, we'll be able to find her."

Lior was smart, Haji could tell but he still couldn't let go of how close his name was t the word 'liar.' He nodded in his direction before sensing something coming near them in high speed... "what the heck!?"

Within seconds, the fire that lit up the place shot up and there could be seen shadow creatures coming through with red eyes and blood coming from thier mouths, fresh blood. Why did that man decide to attack while he was there.. why now?

The creatures turned to more human-like people and began to touch the people there and take away the life of each one as if they were the grim reapers, themselves. One cam forward, "Don't get in our master's way," it seemed to whisper loudly, the breathing within heard audibly as it reached out for Alvena but before it could touch, Haji's eyes glowed brightly and it became fearful or it seemed to be that way. "Or we'll take your life in the name of our master!"

Alvena cursed under her breath. They were choosing now, of all times to attack them? This was just too confusing. Where they actually allied with the Leviathan, or did they follow someone else all together? Either way, it was a little more than annoying. And scary.

Lior just stared at the creatures, and for some reason, did not show any indication that he was afraid of them.

Haji stood in front of Alvena with hsi sword in front f him a bright light coming from the sword and an pure energy rotecting him and her. He noticced the creatures didn't seem to be even after Lior... not even close, what? One had nodded in his direction.

H pulled his sword out and slashed through the air, a wave of power coming out, getting rid of most of them.

Alvena couldn't help thinking that the whole ordeal was very strange. These creatures had come out of nowhere to attack them, and the other people in the tavern.

Meanwhile, Lior was acting as though nothing had happened, and trying to find which way Haydia had went.

They weren't creatures of Leviathan... Haji would've recognized the wretched man's henchmen. Or maybe, he always had those things... kept them hid because he knew Haji would betray him and make him regret his meeting of him.

After realizing that they couldn't get to Alvena, they went straigh towards Ayetra, hoping to take away her life's energy. "Ayetra, down on the ground and crawl over to us... don't bother trying to fight them..." After taking most of the lives of the people within the tavern, they left to find more prey... heading towards the home of Haydia. "W-Where are they going?"

Ayetra, who sobered up quicker than the average daughter of a dunk, attepted to scream as the monsters came in her direction. But, the second she tried to make a sound, she felt all means of strength spill right out of her. She collapsed to the floor, tired and unable to move. Though it didn't hurt, she would've rather had 100 spears through her than allow this to continue.

Upon hearing the command, she tried to make a move towards the others. But, no prevail. Every part of her body went numb. There was only one thing left to de.

"G-G-Get to my c-c-c-c-cousin's house. Q-Q-UICK! D-Don't w-w-worry abou-u-ut me..." She felt herself slip into unconusniesses.

Alvena nodded. She waited a couple of seconds to make sure that Ayetra was actually unconcious, before slipping out of the tavern. Lior followed her out of the tavern, ignoring the monsters as though they weren't even there.

Unknown to him why he came over to get Ayetra out the grasp of the demons, haji ran over to her and grabbed her and threw him over his back and ran to catch up with Alvena and Lior.

It was strange... he knew he, himself, wasn't to be trusted... yet he couldn't help but not trust Lior at al... and feel like they needed to be protected form the man. The hazel eyes boy stopped to check on Ayetras pulse and to see if she was breathing and allowed his body to glow and his energy to heal the girl in some small way.

He jumped quickly ahead and found himself just a little behind Ayetra and right beside Lior, "Lior, what are you up to?" he asked, his eyes only on him, not where they were going as he kept his aword near his side. He wasn't on Leviathan's side, at least he didn't remember him... "who exactly are you?"

"What do you mean by "who are you"? I've told you exactly who I am. My name is Lior. I am an elf. I used to live around here. Would you like that in elvish this time?" Lior asked, mildly annoyed.

Alvena rolled her eyes. "I believe that we still have a job to do."

She couldn't explain it at first, but Ayetra began to feel her enegry coming back. It was slow, but at least she was able to open her eyes. Blinking a few times, she finally realized where she was. And, she wasn't happy in the slightest.

"Put me down! I don't like to be man-handeled! Put me down!" After pausing for a minute, Ayetra came to another realization.

"Oh, and thank you. You saved my life, if what I believe is true. I guess I owe you. Now, can we *please* go find Haydia?"

"I believe we should hurry," Lior remarked, "the Leviathan or his people could be here at any minute."

Ayetra nodded. "Let's go then." She and the others hurried down the path until they reached the house mentioned at the bar. It was small, with not many windows and a large, wooden door. A cresent moon knocker adorned the front. Ayetra gulped.

"Well, who want's to knock the door?"

Alvena was a bit annoyed, and decided that this was taking far too long, and knocked on the door.

She didn't become a knight just to go to bars and ring people's doorbells, you know...

Haji frowned... he was still annoyed bu Ayetra's actions earlier. Without hesitation, he opened the door to the house by force... there was no time to be stopping to knock on the doors like gentlemen... though he generally preferred the gentlmen ways himself.

"Ladies first..." He smirked, looking at Alvena, his eyes showing a bit of flirtacion to the girl.

Haji waited for everyone to go in as he watched the outside... trying to make sure no one was coming.

'Haji, my servant, why have you been ignoring my words... ignoring my mission, not obeying me?' Haji could hear Leviathan's voice in his head, he was using psychokinesis.

He shook and couldn't move... he could feel Leviathan's power... it seemed to have grown. Those creatures had to be his warriors, gaining energy for him. In fear, he replied, 'I will do as you ask of me... just give me time.' His words were lies and Leviathan knew it... Haji was planning on betraying him and then taking over from where he left off, he knew it.

'Haji, I await your presence... I have changed my mission for you... lead those people into my lair where I want to see you kill them with your bare hands!' His words were cold and demonic... wjho'd he think he was.

Haji didn't plan on hurting them... at least, not some of them... the others he could care less. He tried to reply but the connection- the psychic connection- was completely gone and he was much too weak at this moment to get back in connection with him.

He walked in the house and stood by the door with his eyes closed, thinking.

Lior walked up to Haji, intent on finding out exactly who he was. Lior had been just as curious about Haji as Haji was curious about himself, and he intended to find out more.

"I've never seen you around these parts before today," Lior said to Haji, "do you live around here?"

"I don't belong to this world." Haji said absent-midedly and honestly... he didn't even belong here. Leviathan had taken him away from his true home and trained him to use his powers for his pathway that he had chosen and took away his memories from long ago.

"Lior, tell me, why were those creatires not after you... and you weren't afraid of them?" He asked.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN THAT THEY'RE OTHERS IN THE HOUSE?!" Ayetra ran into the room where the others were.

"Haydia isn't excataly what you call social. You guys better come up with a good reason to disturb her." As soon as she said that, another girl stormed into the main room of the house. She was donned in blue robes that ran down a little past her wrists and down below her ankles. Her brown hair waved a little below her shoulder blades and seemed to fall her her eyes a lot. Her blue eyes were like an icy fire, staring at the others with an extreme anger.

They were in trouble now...

"We've come because of the Leviathan. He's gathering his forces to attack the city of Branshea," Alvena said, "am I missing anything, Ayetra?"

Haydia seemed tense... too intense to truly listen. Haji smiled slightly, "young pleasant lady, please listen, we're here trying to get help in this battle against Leviathan..."

Using telekinesis, he knocked the staff away from her hand,er, actually made her feel clumsy with it and drop it. "He is an evil warlord from far away who is bent on allowing his dark energy to surface this planet again and destroy all that is good... if you stop us, you may be stopping all that is keeping him from eternal destruction!"

Lior grinned, "He is a most unusual dragon that can take on the appearence of a human. His power is unimagineable, and some people *beg* to go into his service, just so he will spare their lives."

Haji nodded his head, forgetting that earlier he had told Alvena and Ayetra that he had not known of any 'Leviathan' though he could pretend that he believed she said something else. "Even those who become his servants are lucky if he doesn't betray them."

Haydia was taking too much time, time Haji didn't feel like wasting... Leviathan wanted him dead and he knew it. With his eyes glowing, he put the woman into a paralyzed state and slowly, she'd go into a deep sleep unless he'd awaken her or allowed someone to awaken her.

The woman fell slowly to the ground, unable to move, it was unclear whether she fought it to him but it was clear they could move forward. "Are we going forward with this?" He said after awhile.

Haydia, who was stunned for a moment since her staff was taken away. Then narrowed her eyes.

"I don't need my staff to freeze you." Using a small bit of magic, she froze everyone's feet to the ground.

"You got five minutes to give me the news."

Ayetra, who was now frozen, was trying to break free. "Can I get freedom. You know, because I'm famimly?"

"Not until your friends spill."

"By the gods," Alvena muttered, "we just told you every single thing that we know! The Leviathan is an evil dragon that is amassing an army to takeover the city of Branshea. THAT IS ALL WE KNOW."
