Can't rememeber the name of the story but hopefully if I name enough things someone will know it-sort of a Cinderella, Anastasia, Swan Princess mix. When I last saw it, it had over 300 reviews, and was very very popular quite rightly to (might have been published)

fight with a redhead, woods, a hole in a hill, glass palace, port attacked, an impassable reef, death of a black tribal princess, a golden arrow, a lot of weaponry, an amulet, two princes vying for attention, two fairy princes vying for attention (one is called Rhoan or something an the other Thadius who can turn into a stag), A Captain of the Guard, story starts set in the mines where the main character is imprisoned (the main character has two names), A guy called Dorian, an attempted suicide/sacrafice, dreams between the two people in love, a fight at a port where the main character excepts her role as heroine, flying, training with the Rhoan character, a cult about the main character who all wear a ring, death of a swan, a jousting compitition, chopping wood with super axe skills, prince touring the kingdom, a girl called Cinderella who isnt the main character, a nice cook, love interest between two kids, romamnce, fairies, spaghetti
