Galvian Academy's very own gym. Students need not head into town to get in a workout. They simply can work out here. Weight rooms, track, and pool are all available to them. Some classes are held here.

Lily:

I changed into my bathing suit in the girls locker room, and walked to the pool. normally i didn't swim in anything with chemicals in it, but i didn't really have much of a choice on the matter here. I jumped in the pool and began to swim smooth laps through the water.

Lily:

I watched as the boy dove into the water, however, i contiuned to swim my laps. i stopped now and then to take a breath and clear my eyes of the chlorine. the water stung, but i was getting over it.

Lily:

As i swam, i lost track of where the boy had gone. maybe he had gotten out? suddenly there was an object in my way. "Ouch," i pulled up putting my hand on my head. "Oh... excuse me," i said quickly.

Lily:

"Oh... no.. i'm sorry... it's my fault." i turned around and dove under the water. talk about embarissing... id only met a few people in my life, but i had never really talked to anyone. smooth... i thought to myself simply.

Lily:

I popped up on the other side of the pool, too shy to say anything else to the kid. i couldn't help but stare at him though, id only met people, never before had i met any other supernatural being.

Lily:

I sniffed at the water. the smell was making me feel sick, so i lay down on my back in the water. the ceiling was rather high, and i bet there was clean air up there. i giggled a little to myself, if only i could fly.

Lily:

"Hello, don'tcha ever wish you could fly like a bird?" i asked. i was thinking out loud, and i didn't really realize it.

Lily:

"oh... i'm sorry... i didn't realize... i... uhm... potato?" i had suddenly realized what i said, and i was immedietly embarassed.

Lily:

"i... enjoy... plants..." i was acting like an idiot. i sunk deeper into the water so that only my eyes were above the water.

Kaleyn and Izy

The two girls wandered into the changong rooms, looking around.

"So this is the gym the teacher was going on about..." mused Kaleyn. Both girls snorted with laughter at the memory. Voices floated in from the direction of the pool.

"C'mon, lets change" said Izy, and they went into seperate cubilcles to put on their swimming costumes. They came out at almost exactly the same time, and locked their bags in one of the lockers, before going into the pool room.

As they came into the pool area, they saw two figures bobbing up and down in the water.

"Hey, company!" grinned Izy, diving into the water without a moment's hesitation, and swimming towards the two chatting people.

"Hey, can we join?" asked Izy, swimming up. Kaleyn wandered up on the side of the pool, and swung her legs in, cautiously.

"C'mon Kal, you're ok at water energy... not great, but ok..."

"Thanks Izy, great..." grinned Kaleyn, flicking water at her, before taking a breath and sliding in. There was a moment when the water around her seemed to be repelled by her, shrinking away, leaving a wierd, unnatural hollow dent in the water, before she ajusted and it flowed back to her. She ran her hands through it experimentally, and then grinned fully.

"Done."

Izy turned back to the boy. "Anyway, as I was saying, 'hi'."

Izy took his hand.

"Izy, which doesn't really shortern."

"I'm Kaleyn" added Kaleyn, "which shorterns to Kal."

"You too" answered Kal.

"Um, if you don't mind me asking, how come you're in the water?" asked Izy. "I mean, wood sprites don't generally... well... swim that much. "(She knows his species cos she's a shapeshifter, so can become one herself, so knows it.)

Izy grinned.

"I like that explanation. But is that just you or..." she frowned for a moment, concentrating, then her shape flickered for a moment, and she became inexpplicably more sprite-like.

"Oooh, no that's not comfortable!" she shuddered, then paused. "But I can see why you'd like it." She flickered back to human. "Much better."

Kaleyn and Izy

"Being in the water as a wood sprite!" laughed Izy, flicking water at him.

Izy's outline flickered agin, and she became a water-nymph, and pushed a mini-wave at him, grinning.

"Gotcha!" she chortled.

Izy flinched, and turned back to human again.

"Sorry!" she appoligised. "That was harsh of me..." She became a wood sprite again out of sympathy.

Izy and Kaleyn

Both girls laughed. "Good policy!" grinned Kal. "I should try that... It might help..."

Kaleyn and Izy

"Spoons?" asked Kal, raising and eyebrow.

Kaleyn and Izy

"And you've experianced this because...?"

Kaleyn and Izy

She didn't. Instead she changed the subject.

"So, how come you're at the Academy?" she asked.

Kaleyn and Izy

"Both" said Kaleyn, not grinning anymore.

Izy let out a low whistle.

"That's quite some story!" she said. "How long ago was that?"

"And you came straight here?"

Izy nodded, then paused.

"Lets swim" she said finally, shoving away whatever thought she'd been having and diving down into the water.

Izy's outline flickered and became subtly more fishlike. Kaleyn could have sworn she saw her friend's feet become webbed. She dove down to the bottom and rolled over so that she was looking up through the water.

Izy no longer needed to, whatever it was she'd transormed into clearly didn't have that problem, but Kal had to come up for a breath.
