(The shop's always crowded.Jocks sit on red barstools near the completely white counter.A bald man is behind the counter making milkshakes.The Jukebox's playing.)

"So." Tanya sat in a booth next to the windows. "Let's start with your story. Show me what you have so far and I'll give you my honest opinion."

June pulled the notebook out of her bag and flopped it on the counter. "The main idea is a futuristic world. Everything is really advanced. TV is in color, we've got little electric devices that control everying, like doors and stuff."

Tanya's eyes widened and she nodded her head, impressed. She picked up the notebook and began to read.

~A few minutes later~

"Well, this is very good. It's futuristic, but still believable. The characters seem well developed. but the plot.... I'm not so sure about it. What were you thinking for a plot?"

"That's the problem!" June said, frustrated. "I can't think of anything!"

Tanya sat back and bit her lip, thinking.

"Maybe.... some of the technology could go wrong? Then some people would have to figure out how to fix it, or else half the people in the world would be killed? How's that?"

(I have to go.)

(Night)

June grinned. "I can do that. Thanks. Now, what's your problem?"

(Hi!)

Tanya leaned back and sighed, looking at June.

"I need a model. For some reason, I can not draw women who actually look like women without looking at a live model. All I need for you to do is pose. I can change a few things so that no one would know it was you, if you want."

Frankie walked into the soda shop and spotted June and another girl.

June laughed nervously. "I guess I could do that. And yes, please change some things. I get to wear clothes, right?"

She looked back, saw Frankie, and turned back to Tanya quickly.

Tanya rolled her eyes.

"Course. Though, I may need you to wear a few rather weird outfits, but I don't think it will be that often. Don't worry. And I can change things so that you aren't recognized. Also, if you want, I can do a few character drawings for your book. Just little pictures of the characters to be put in at random places. So, come on. We nee to find a place where no one will see, since I think that is what you would prefer. And I won't tell anyone if you don't want me to." She smiled at June and started looking around. SHe noticed the girl who had just came in was the one that had been arguing with her boyfriend about June.

June, trying to distract Tanya, said quickly, "Secrecy is my style. And sure, some character drawings would be swell."

Tanya nodded.

"Okay. C'mon, I know a safe place for me to draw you, a bit. Some we'll have to do at my house, but most we can draw at the library. I know a place where no one but me goes, so you won't have to worry. That girl was fighting with her boyfriend when I came into the classroom today. They were arguing about you. I wonder why? Anyways, come on, let's go to the library. As long as the library is okay with you?"

June nodded quickly. "Yeah, let's go."

Tanya stood up and started walking out the door. She smirked a bit.

"Want to avoid her?" She discreetly jerked her chin in the direction of the girl.

"That'd be nice."

"Right. Let's go."

(Meet you in the Library!)

Frankie sat down at the counter after the girls had left.She took her hair out of the ponytail and looked at the menu.

(Time jump to the next day)

Tanya walked into the soda shop after school, buying herself a soda and sitting in the same booth as yesterday. She settled in to wait, not sure how long June would be.
