(TOTALLY out of context, but I has a question. I just saw the trailer for a new X-box game called Metroid. Is that by any chance related to the Metroid game you were referring to??)

"And if she does, you do as well..." Dread muttered softly and angrily, as he lifted Addison gently, then began to rush back towards the cave...

Arias followed them with his eyes until the boy dissappeared. He retracted his tongue, but stopped at the plac where the mutt had bitten him, nearly all the way through...

He pulled a knife from his person and grabbed his tongue, slicing it of above the wound without even a flinch...

(Well excuse me for paying attention to the trialer 8) I could've sworn it said Metroid for 360...

Dread rushed back towards the cave as fast as he could. Already he'd forgotten what this boy had wanted him to get, but no doubt Addison would know... He glanced back up at her, frowning slightly as he hoped she was okay...

(I saw it on Tv. I'll see if I can look it up tomorrow. Right after I get done slicing my wrists up and writing these notes in blood...

Addison choked in a breathe, but was fading back into unconsciousness... but as she was fading, so was the pain...

((Oi... First Plumb, and now you... You people and your depression...))

Dread bucked her hard in an attempt to keep her awake, "Stay awake, Addison. If you nod off, I'll never forgive you!" the wolf yelped, as he made it to their cave and laid her down gently, licking her face softly...

(I'm so sorry about being gone, Dread! I thought I was going to die, really. You crossed my mind so many times this past week. I didn't know what I was going to do...)

Addison lay there silent for a moment before she looked at him. "Sorry..." she mumbled, taking in another shaky breath.

((I'm sorry about not being able to post much... But do you have email? You can reach me much more regularly to chat on one of my Instant Messanger accounts...))

"Sh... It's fine..." Dread said, with a loud sigh, as he looked around the cave they were now standing in carefully... "Do you know what that man wanted?"

Addison's eyes fell to the floor of the cave. The pain was steady right now. She averted her eyes from his face as she answered him, "maybe."

((Yeah. As in a message service that lets two friends talk whenever they want. x3 What kind of email do you have? And also, I apologise profusely for not being on for so long. I'm going to try my hardest to be on at least once a day...))

"What was it?" he asked, as he gently licked at her wounds, trying to get them as healed as he could... He knew that she really needed to get to the alter to transform and thus heal her quickly, but he would do that when they were out of danger...

"It is a necklace..." she whispered, her eyes falling low. "An old relic from my mother's side... I never believed the stories... not until now..."

Pain. More and more pain...

(This is my poem for my speech tomorrow. I figured you might like it because of its subject...

The Angel's Cry Dear Mommy, Can you feel me- Hiding deep within you? Your dearest little secret Resting beneath your skin, Nesting in your warmth. Your heartbeat is slow, Gentle and comforting. I can feel you when you breathe. Can you feel me- Growing bigger every day? I can move now. I can think. Our hearts beat as one today. I can hear you when you talk, When you cry, but why? Mommy, I'm scared. I don't like this place. That man's not a doctor; he's a disgrace! A devil of shame. Don't listen to him mommy. Please, this is dangerous and wrong. He doens't care about you or me, Not at all. I don't understand. Why don't you love me, mommy? Please, just give me one chance. Let me show you what I can be. I'd be anything! I want to know my name. I want to see your face. Don't you know how much I love you? Thanks mommy, thanks for everything. For your voice, your heart. Thanks for hte hope I had, the joy. For everything you gave me- all that he's about to take away. So thanks mommy, thanks for the pain. But I suppose it's for your gain, Isn't it? I hope it doens't hurt, when they rip me from you limb from limb. I hope your heart doens't break Every time you think of me, Of my name. "What kind of necklace? Why does he want it?" Dread asked, as he began to search for the object in question...

(How do you think I felt while I was writing it?? I about cried when I recited it today... -sigh- yea. Judge? no, not unless you want to, but I know how you feel on that subject. Its a poem, though it printed wrong. I thought maybe you would... see it from my point of view u know? maybe not... idk)

"You wont find it there... if he had only known..." she whispered, her eyes falling again. "but if he doesn't get it he'll kill me... if he gets it, everything we... used to know... everything we know now, will come to an end. It's the key..." she muttered the last part, her hand moving to cover her wrist...

"Addison... Don't worry." Dread said, as he turned to move back over to her, looking her over... "I'm not going to let anything hurt you... Or anyone else." he said, placing his paw on her hand... "Now... Just tell me where it is."

"That's the problem, Dread," she whispered. "Its inside of me..."

Dread's eyes narrowed unsuredly... Sirens and warning bells attacked his instincts as he said, "Explain, please..."

She hung her head. "Before my father was a drunk... he was involved with some.... things. He got in over his head. He... he had to hide it. But there was nowhere safe. Nowhere but me... So while I was sleeping he bound me to the bed and.. hid it within me... so nobody could find it..."

"How??" Dread asked unsuredly, his eyes wide with amazment... "And what is it??"

She closed her eyes. "He cut me open... " a silent tear slipped down her cheek, but she continued. "Its a necklace. The charm is what the man wants. It holds... some kind of power..."

"Well... We'll see about that... Won't we...?" murrmered Dread, as he nuzzled her gently, a comforting gesture as he looked out at the cave's entrance... "Do you know who or what this... thing, is?"

"I can't be fore sure, but by the looks of it he's one of my father's old team members..." she whispered.

"Hrrm..." Dread muttered unsuredly, as he nodded... "Okay... Should we give this thing to him? Can we even get it out of you?"

"Back when he put it in me he assumed that removing it from me would only happen if I was..." she closed her eyes again. "..if I was dead. I don't know what power it possesses... but I do know this. If he doens't get it he will kill me anyways..."

"Hmph. He won't get it then. No matter what I have to do." Dread growled, as he tried frantically to think of something to do...

She shook her head. "Dread, you've got to give it to him..."

"Like hell I do... Watch me." he said, as he gently lifted her onto his back once again to move through the secret passage...

She was too weak to object at this point and lay limply as he carried her...
