Also, Channelers are able to activate the powers of the Elementals around them - so he could make Phoenix burst into flames if he wanted to, and sculpt those flames to his will.

When Hale turned eight, he had a son, and told his wife, who killed herself the next day in front of young Hale. Horrifed, he turned to the drugs. He became violent with his daughter, who at age 15, started sleeping in the park about three times a week.

Fears: She used to fear heights, but since learning to use the wind to fly, she has overcome that fear. She is terrified of losing control or being helpless; tight areas or being unable to move; being forgotten; getting lost; and imprisonment.

Weakness: When helpless, she sometimes does irrational things to get out of it, and when her mission is threatened, she will hardly hesitate to do something wrong to finish it.

Strengths: Maleek is very determined; when she puts her mind to something she follows it to the finish.

Clothes: Most of the time she wears thin lavender robes, though otherwise she wears mainly skirts and dresses but sometimes jeans.

Good/bad?: Mainly good.

Occupation: Works part-time in a bookstore at customer help.

Other: (Time to take a deep breath…) She was orphaned at the age of four, and taken in by a young woman by the name of Claudine. Claudine had sister with the power to shift earth, and she was murdered for it. She vowed to find and protect anyone with similar powers, and so raised Maleek with her younger daughter Laura. And now, years later, as Maleek had left to explore the rumor that a young boy in Mexico was exhibiting strange abilities, someone searched for her in Claudine's house, and ended up killing Claudine and leaving. When Maleek heard, she headed back to find that Laura was missing and the only thing she had left was an entry in her diary, saying she had gone to New York. She traveled there and is now searching for her, and the people who killed the closest thing she had to a mother.

Might be a good idea, so you'd have a background of the goings on. HOWEVER, it's quite a boatload of pages and I understand how dull that can get. Currently everyone is on an Island with a Camp for Elementals; you can find a quick excuse to bring her there and jump right in, I think, unless the Forensic One has any objections.
