I remember reading a story on this site years ago though the name of the story and the author's name escapes me.

It was about a couple who broke up in high and years later the heroine is involved in a car crash and her treating doctor is her former high school sweetheart. They soon reconnect and eventually get back together and I remember that the hero gives the heroine a necklace with an umbrella charm on it.

I would really appreciate it if anyone can provide me with either the name of the story or the author's name.
