Hey, kinda (but not really) random comment to make...The Italian word for Florence is Firenze, so it would be Il Republica Firenze, not Florentina.

By the way, Dani, it turns out we were both wrong. You see, the term was not the Republic of Florence, in which case you would be right, it being Il Repubblica di Firenze. However, the actual name was The Florentine Republic, or Il Repubblica Fiorentina.
