No. It looks sort of like a rape of all my childhood memories. It doesn't help that steven Spielberg is doing Tintin in 3D soon too . . . Wahhh! Why must they be so cruel! Go back to 2D already!

It's alright, Bread. I can understand if you're scarred.

*gasp, shocked face* The chipmunks movie wasn't horrible! And I didn't think it raped very many childhood memories!

X), Oh god, that killed me when I read it LOL!

Eh, the chipmunks had their moments, but their weirdo Daddy annoyed me, I think he turned me sadistic for the small bit span of his involvement in the movie. I was practically screaming in my head "DIE! SHuT UP! GET OFF THE FUCKING SCREEN!!!"

But I liked the singing ^-^ It was fun

I would agree with you there, Roman Lee. I too was shocked beyond when I read their opinions about the movie. I mean, there's nothing bad about it, except their weird 'dad' who kind of ruined the plot a bit.

Ya, he pissed me off. He just wasn't funny, he was anoyying -.- *imagines horrific death for Alvin's dad* I struggled hard against my instinct to scream at him while I was in the movie theatre. It came out on my birthday so I went to watch it ^-^

I know! First off - Steven Spielberg? Whaaaa? Tintin needs a popular voice, but not like that!

Although, it really wierds me out to hear a voice of a character I've known for so long. I'm always going to imagine all of them sounding like my Dad, (who used to read them to me when I was little.) Even Bianca Castifiore.

For Alvin? It was the trying-to-be-ghetto. That just sort of ruined it for me.

I watched it, and it definitely had its moments...

both when i wanted to puke from it's lameness

and other moments where Theodore's eyes got really big and sad.... pretty cute.... ^_^

anyways, it's a movie that i can watch with the kids i babysit sometimes... and it's definitely a better alternative then what THEY wanted to watch last week (ex: Barbie and the Nutcracker... kill me now...) xD

P.S. the guy who did the voice of Alvin is the same guy who does the Mac commercials (as Mac, not PC...)

Just random fact i found out... ;D
