Topic: Harry Potter: 7th movie turned into TWO!
Okay, who totally predicted this? I did.

(About the seventh movie ending up with two different screenplays because you obviously can't do it in one without taking away practically everything)

Anyone?

Opinions here, I wanna hear em!

It's odd they would do that with this movie, though. There was as much if not more material in the fifth and sixth books.

I wonder how they'll do titling. I hope it's not like the Kill Bill movie(s). Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Vol. 2?

I'm really wondering where they're gonna cut it off, since everything is practically all together. Anyone have thoughts on that (where they're gonna stop the 1st part and get the final one rolling?)

That is strange, cause they managed to cram every other book into a movie. I think they'll cut it when they start to look for the wand thing, then the last movie is themed all nicely. I don't like it, it sounds like a money grab.

I think that the plot would have, well, way too many inner-plots for the movie to actually make sense. (Kind of like Pirates of the Caribbean 3, no matter how much I enjoyed that movie, it had too many things going on at once). Usually, in the HP movies they have one theme, but the book forces them to have about three or four at once. I'm actually kind of happy that they're making it into 2, I get to enjoy HP just a tad longer than I planned. ;) Not really caring about them getting money for it as much as probably some other people will.

"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Vol.2" lmao! Haha, that made me laugh. I hope they don't do that though.

I think having the movie into 2 parts is pretty cool, and yeah I get to enjoy HP much longer. The only thing I'm worried about though is that I hope they actually keep to the book. I mean, what's the point in breaking it into 2 parts when they're gonna be changing some events? It's gonna just result into an unsatisfied HP-book-loving-fans audience. =/

But yeah, I'm excited for it anyways. =)

I heard on TV that sixth and seventh were going to be a double feature. i thought it didn't make sense. N*E* ways. It's a definite money grab. I can smell the greens going through the box office already. I bet they'll still cut out some parts. It's just how movies are.

I think it's pretty freakin SWEET that they cut it into two volumes ^_^ Just because I'll be able to enjoy the movie longer; the Harry Potter movies seem to end like 30 minutes after they begin. That's what it feels like for me anyways because I compare how long I got to enjoy the books (a process that is never-ending) to how long I got to enjoy the movies (totally ending).

I do wonder where they are going to cut if off though *ponders*

I think it's cool that they're making two movies out of it. In reality, you can't take anything out of that book. I read it from 12 AM to 8 AM when it first came out and I was at the Books A Million party at midnight to get the book. My mom had to literally rip the book from my hands and tell me that I needed to sleep for a few hours at least. (She just wanted an excuse to read it herself lol) I ended up finishing it within like a day, it was so cool. I wonder what they're both gonna be called though. I hope it's nothing stupid like "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Vol. 1 and 2." Ugh. I'd hate that.

Either way, it's awesome they're doing this. It just goes to show that you can't take anything out of something that good.
