Dan was about to answer, but stopped himself to think. "Mostly because of that house. It has all my back up supplies."

Scarlette raised an eyebrow "What? Are you expecting an appocolypse?" A smirk played on her lips.

"No." Dan shook his head with his face looking as if he heard something completely ridiculous. "I just kept some things there since I was a kid. There is too much information in there to be let go of."

Tyson had reached the lake once more and stood hidden in the distance watching the two, "A woman? Oh well nothing of my concern."

"Someone's close." Scarlette looked away from Dan, her eyes scanning the area warily.

"What?" Dan scanned the area. "How do you know?" He kept looking around not noticing anything.

Tyson watched the two as they began looking around, "Oh can one of them sence me. Looks like I just may have found a demon after all and that may mean allies. Now find me if you can."

"I just do." Scarlette muttered quickly, her eyes zeroing in on Tyson. She waved once, watching him warily.

"Well now aren't you a skilled one." Tyson waved back and walked forward, "Hey."

"Look," Dan said pointing at Tyson. "You're back."

Scarlette smirked "And aren't you a sneaky one."

"Yeah got bored in town with nothing to do so I decided to come back here for a bit. Sorry, I didn't mean to be sneaky there but guess it turned out that way."

"And you are?" Scarlette asked.

"Well, there's nothing to do here but swim."

Tyson looked over at Scarlett and held out his hand, "Oh how rude of me I'm Tyson. Who you are?

Scarlette shook his hand "Scarlette." She nodded, glancing at Dan "I noticed the lake. "

"It's quite nice to swim in. It's even quite comfortable at this time of the year." Dan said, forgetting that he had used his powers to keep himself from getting cold.

"I'll just stick with a nice rain pouring down as opposed to swimming not much of a fan of swimming really."

"You seem to like rain. It's not that surprising, actually. I found you in the rain the first time."

"Well, what do you do around here for amusement?" Scarlette asked, running a hand through her hair as she gazed at Tyson.

"Yeah I love the rain. As for fun I just wander around town go to the library do some reading and anything else I can find to do. Its been a pretty boring town since I got here."

"Well, is the lake clean?" Scarlette called over her shoulder as she started towards the lake.

"Clean as a whistle." Dan said before he whistled a friendly tune.

Scarlette reached the lake and nodded, it was clean. She dipped her toe in, shivering she muttered "Jeez, it's cold."

"That's crazy. I was in there not too long ago. It couldn't have gotten cold that fast." Dan walked into the lake, automatically turning his powers on by reflex. "No, it's not bad."

Scarlette raised an eyebrow, gazing at him intently she asked "What are you?"

Dan looked at her confused. "Human."

"That lake is freezing." She pointed out.

Tyson walked over and dipped one of his hands into the water, "Definitely freezing guess its just a matter of preference or something." he wiped his hand on his trench coat trying to get the water off.

Dan just remembered that he had his powers on. Crap, he thought to himself. Quickly disactivating his powers, the cold water almost made him fall from shock. He slowly walked out, freezing cold. "Haha. I-i-it was a j-j-joke."
