Hmm... Well, I think I must thank you for even looking at this, and, by proxy, coming to my forum! I don't have many rules, but those I do... are important. And just so you know, there might be a bunch of rules, since I sort of lied in the previous sentence.

1. Don't talk about the Rules.

2. Please keep posts at no more than a hard PG-13. So, minimal swearing, sexual actions must be hinted at then skipped, no 'dirty' words, yadda yadda...

3. Violence is fine on most levels, but let's not push it.

4. No god-modding, or using/maiming/killing another player's character without permission; stuff you already know. However, things that are likely can be typed, e.g. "He stabbed forward, missing, but cutting her arm." Things like that, are fine, since obviously no one's character will always dodge attacks, as long as this does not lead to anything debilitating or lethal. For the most part, let the other characterr decide where the blows land, how hard, how badly damaging they are, etc.; and just say where you aim, how hard, with what, etc.

5. "Have fun" is overused and tacky, so I'll say "enjoy this as much as possible, and don't hate me".

6. No flaming, slurring, and all that fun stuff, towards each other. IC, it's fine, and likely to happen, but refernce rule #1 as to how much.

7. NO Gary Stu's, or his relative Mary Sue's. Seriously, despite one of the RPGs,Sumus Dei,you are NOT a god. Have weaknesses, play fair, lose if you are outmatched... unless you are creative enough to avoid defeat, of course. If your character is strong/powerful, just don't treat her/him like a Mary/Gary and you will be fine.

8. There'll probably be a Warning system if you start misbehaving. Which would lead to the likely Banning system. Ye be warned.

9. As for Character creation... I'll be approving them before you can do anything with them. I am not too strict, mostly looking for Gary/Mary kinds of characters, so don't worry and just put them up. For certain, rare, instances where I do not approve, I will work it out with you, giving as generous of comprimise as possible. I'm not heartless.

10. Work with me. These are not going to be piece of cake, easy, shoot-em-up style RPGs. It WILL take effort on your part to play.Sumus Dei,will likely be easier than "SW: TOR Infinities" [which is planned for after I start up the former], in fact, it will be a LOT easier... but it will still require effort, patience, etc. They WILL be fun, though, I swear, if you are willing to put up with me.

11.Sumus Deiwill be darker and harder than the upcoming "SW: TOR Infinities", so R-rated posts are accepted occasionally in it [Sumus Dei].Try to keep it a really hard PG-13, though, and don't push it with the R-rated stuff.

12. Spelling and grammar are important. I admit to being a perfectionist, Grammar Nazi, etcetera, so I will not say those aren't important. However, if you misspell words, mess up grammar and the like, I will not hold it against you. It's okay to make mistakes, just try to limit them. But absolutely NO L33t speak or text lingo, unless you are texting IC.

13. If you have, or plan to have, more than one character per RPG, only use third-person perspecitve.

14. I am no longer tolerating insanely over-powered characters. I have given more than enough warnings and allowances, but it stops from hence forth.

15. ...I don't think there's a fifteenth rule, but there might be in the future, so keep your eyes peeled. Not literally, of course.

Oh, and I forgot to mention... Questions, thoughts, concerns, extreme fears, or random outbursts anyone?

I like these rules. Easy to follow. I would have come up with something like these in my forum. If I ever make one.

K so basically what rule #9 is saying translates into this:

No. Powers are fine. Just don't treat the character like it's invincible, and you'll be fine. Besides, that rule is created because of all the other forums I have been to say it.

Currently, this is all one RP, with separate cities and areas in different threads. I plan on a Star Wars RP someday, but right now, only Sumus Dei is active. Start, if you want, by reading the locked thread. It's a backstory to this whole thing. Then make a character, according to the rules set. :) It is rather complicated at first, but I'll help you if you need it, so ask any questions you have. :)
