Once there, they sat down on one of the benches near the front.

A while later...

"Sir! We captured a smuggler. He was sneaking food into our prison."

(Ah. But what about inside the prison?)

The film flickered on.

(You can't have your charrie do much while Loki's inside the prison unless you have a girl inside. We can't skip a week since this'll mess up the time with Mahal and Lily right?)

"Under Samson people have eaten better than before and crime is down,"

Lily glanced at Mahal and frowned. That wasn't right.

He blinked. Really? It sure didn't feel that way.

The film conitnued to spurt out messages of a similar vein, messages they now knew not to be true.

Mahal stared blankly at the film, his pokerface coming in handy this time.

Lily squeezed his hand behind her back whenever another lie came up(quite often).

Mahal squeezed back each time in response.

Eventually the film was over and they were allowed to leave.

Mahal walked along the road with Lily.

"We'll talk when we're inside," she whispered.

He nodded.

She squeezed his hand gently as they walked.

"What are you doing?"

She glanced at him.

"Being affectionate,"

"...." He squeezed back.

Smiling at him, she opened the front door.

He walked in with her.

"That was all lies," she whispered.

He nodded. "Exactly what the book described..."

"Exactly," she shuddered. What else had they got wrong?

"What is it?"

He shook his head. "It's nothing. Do you want to read more...?"

She nodded.

"It'll be nice to read something true,"

He sat down and took out the book.

Lily shut the curtains.

Mahal locked the doors.
