bKASL I'm working on getting my work(s) published, and would love you everyone to read (and review) WildFire (under young adult) Please read it now, while it's still publicly available. All rights go to yours truly of course(: Here's the in depth summary: In the ancient times it was believed that a race called the Nephilim were created by the "sons of God" and the "daughters of men." Most humans looked at this as another way they were to become closer to Him. Though in the midst of these Giants' days, there grew hatred and ignorance for these beings, and finally their extinction was called by The Order, an assembly of men jealous of their relationship with the Father and intimidated by their powers. They poured doubt into the mind and hearts of other humans, and caused the Nephilims to be feared and outcasted. In the end, only four remained, offspring of the Angels Arakiel, Ramiel, Uriel, and Sariel; placed guardians of the four elements. They have fought for their lives ever since. Today the fight still rages on even after centuries have passed, though steady changes have occurred. Bloodlines have dwindled down to a drop, and the Nephilims, now known as the Hybrids, aren't even aware of their four legendary ancestors, nor their abilities that soon manifest with the coming of age... Reigning over the element of fire and the long, forgotten descendant of Uriel, Sarah Moray comes to light of her abilities and is attacked by the HED: Hybrid Eradication Detachment, a more modern founded organization built on the ancestry of The Order. Luckily, she is saved by the other three Hybrids and together they go into hiding, sheltered by three androids and the protective barrier their ancestors had created, giving them their own realm to wander in. Trouble strikes however, when demons start coming after them, and they come to realize that they are no longer safe and there is nowhere else to hide. Fighting the HED, as well as demons to stay alive, Sarah and her friends try to find the lost prophecy, but what happens when they learn that there could be a traitor in the midst? 3/30/2012 #1 |
