RimmaProbably people will suggest that this can be done by reviewing other people's work. I spend a good portion of my internet time simply reading things other people have written and sending them reviews in the hopes that they will be kind enough to read and review something of mine. Sometimes this works; usually, because it takes less effort on the author's part, I simply recieve a "review reply" in return or, just as usual, nothing. However, what generally annoys me is that I take time to read long chapters and give detailed reviews, and even though it is kind of those few authors who do to review a piece of mine in return, they always choose the piece with the least word counts.I'm tempted to prevent this by adding on obscenely long portions of pure printer spam (you know, the symbols and smiley faces and numbers and such) to the end of every piece. However, on second thought, this would probably scare everyone away. If you'd like, I could review your story for you. I don't see why you're not getting much publicity, as even just the name is intruiging. |
