RienneaTopic: Haunted Mansion
A building that started being building in the late 17th century and was finally built in the early 18th century. Made for the samurais and assasins of the past, after a samurai died, it took over the building and killed everyone else in it. Then, it created zombies, skeletons and spirits, but still is an interesting place to stay. ~/~\~/~\~/~\~/~\~/~ ((From the clocktower)) Akemi flew into the building, where she was born and once lived, and then roamed the area. It was deserted and quite frightening, since it was older than she was. She wondered why it was still alive, since it had been abandoned before the first world war. |

Sand Josieph((Would it be alright if I created a new owner for the mansion, who's turned it into something of a dormitory for ghosts? In fact, is it ok if I play the mansion itself? I LOVE this sort of stuff!)) | #2 Jul 24th, 1:50pm . Edited Jul 24th, 1:56pm

Riennea((Well I was thinking of Destiny and Nick coming here after the movie so, maybe after that...)) |
Sand Josieph((I've always wanted to start up a haunted house thread of my own, but you kinda beat me to it...)) |
Riennea((Sorry!)) |
Sand Josieph((OK, here goes...)) There was suddenly a loud groan from the wood of the haunted building. Welcome Back! it seemed to say, We have left your room just like it was the day you left... ((Is it Ok if I put up a Mansion profile in the enrollment thread. This is one character that I have been dying to put in...along with the new owner...)) |
Riennea((sure!)) Akemi sighed as she groaned. "Shut up idiot!" She snarled. He was definetly a pain in the butt. She thought maybe after a hundred years he'd be dead, though he was a mansion. She was looking for peace and quiet, nothign more. |
Sand JosiephA long coffin seemed to walk into the room on four legs. It was made of dark oak and was beautifully carved. "Ah, hello there!" it said, a skeletal arm opening a closing the lid like a mouth, "I am the new owner of this humble abode, Sir Coffagus!" |
Riennea((No offence, but this seems more of a comedy/horror instead of a spiritual/horror like I intended. Later, can we change it a bit more so Sir Coffagus isn't there where Nick and Destiny are?)) "And I actually thought this place was much more calmer and SANER!" Akemi snapped. |
Sand Josieph((sorry if it's not what you intended it to be. But I do have character coming who's actually quite dark. For now though, just think of this place as a Dark Comedy)) "Well, we do have a new resident coming to stay with us," said Sir Coffagus, "His name is Joshua, the Phantom Demon of Despair." ((Plus, with a name like Haunted Mansion, there are only two things that come to mind: Disney's Haunted Mansion and Knoebel's haunted Mansion)) | #10 Jul 24th, 4:02pm . Edited Jul 24th, 4:03pm

Riennea((ah, it's alright!)) "This place was created for samurais to live peacefully or to work together. After the death of my father, he decided on murdering the rest, except for me. Then I declared this place a home for those who spirits whose gravestones surround this building. Me leaving for two years does not insist it is yours. It is still rightfully mine." Akemi exclaimed, ignoring his last comment. |
Sand JosiephSuddenly, organ music could be heard coming from the ballroom and candlebras rose from where they stood, lit, and floated down to the reception. |
RienneaAkemi snorted. "To ruin such a fine building of history in such a comedic house. Brats, I should've never left..." Her sword started rattling all of a sudden. "Ko-san! Use me! Fight this man and fight for the building! Please, I would very appreciate if you did something for me, especially like this!" Her sword stated and so Akemi smiled. |
Sand JosiephThe building suddenly began to groan and seemed to say, Please, there is no need to excorisize Sir Coffagus. He's the reason I am still standing... |
RienneaAkemi fell over laughing. "The reason you're still standing is because my father and mother placed the 'Rebirth' spell on you when you were created! Whenever you 'die' you are immediately reborn so don't talk!" She snapped. ((Sorry for Akemi's strange behaviour. ** that her home has become some kind of comedy act...)) |
Sand JosiephThe house groaned angrily, seeming to say, When you left, the town decided to pass a vote on my fate. They wanted to tear me down and put up a new shopping mall. Sir Coffagus, who knows the Fates themselves, was able to prevent me from becoming free real estate... "Trust me," said Sir Coffagus, "Not even a rebirth spell could have saved the mansion from that sort of fate." |
Riennea"Fine, you've saved the house and now I'm back to take my rightful spot...if not then...then...this house could be destroyed..." |
Riennea((Sand? You there???)) |
Sand Josieph((Yes, I'm still here...)) |
Riennea((Bibliomancer's back on...yay!)) |
Sand Josieph"Perhaps we can discuss this with my fiancee, Melanie over dinner," said Sir Coffagus. |
RienneaAkemi shook her head. "I cannot, for I must be meeting with my sister Iris. You may have heard of her, the Minerva girl?" |
Sand JosiephSuddenly, there was a bell toll indicating that it was now dark outside, and Sir Coffagus went silent. The skeletal hand operating his lid suddenly became flesh and bone and a tall, handsome man sat up. "Please forgive me for my earlier behavior," said the man, "Sir Coffagus is my daytime form, so the children don't die of fright. This is my true form and you may call me Drake." |
RienneaAkemi smiled. "Well hello Drake..." She stated. "I do apologise for not being able to speak with you and your fiancée, but I really must be going to speak with Iris. Some other time would be fine though..." |
Sand Josieph"Drake, are you coming down for dinner?" came a soft, sweet voice from a seemingly endless hallway. "I'll be right there, Melanie," Drake called back. He then said to Akemi, "That was Melanie, my fiancee." |
Riennea"I see..." Akemi stated. "Kind woman she seems to be." She giggled, one she hadn't heard for a long time. "Dawn!" ((Akemi's name means 'Beauty of Dawn')) Akemi turned around. "Iris! I was just about to leave to find you!" She chuckled. "I went to the clocktower and only found a couple there, and then I remembered that you were planning on coming here! So hi!" She exclaimed, smiling. Iris then noticed Drake. "Under new management I presume..." Akemi smiled. "Oh yeah, Drake, this is my friend Iris, or Ayame. Whichever you prefer. She is from the 'extinct' Minerva race. Iris, this is Drake." |
Sand Josieph"I think I'll stick with the name Iris," said Drake. |
RienneaIris giggled. "Nothing unsual!" She stated. Her eyes then went from crimson red to a sunshine yellow. ((Yellow is the colour of hapiness)) Akemi sighed as she began to wonder what time it was. |
Sand Josieph"Would you two like to join us for dinner?" Drake asked the two women. |
RienneaAkemi sighed and only waited for Iris to respond! "Of course!" She exclaimed, smiling. |
Sand Josieph"Then follow me," said Drake. He lead the two women to the grand dining hall which had been refurbished with new paint and furnishings. And in the middle of thehall was a great feast laid out. Dancing in the air to the organ music were hundreds of ghosts. |
RienneaIris looked at Akemi who was now basking away in memories. Iris had never seen such a gleam in her friends eyes as she smiled. "Is it the same?" Akemi nodded. "Exactly the same, except that the fact there's light, and that the spirits are acting calm." "Akemi-sama!" one of them exclaimed. That was that of her mother. As she flew down, she hugged her tightly. "It's been such a long time! Thank god Drake and Melanie were here to help us!" She exclaimed and began to cry. Akemi smiled. It was just like old times. |
Sand Josieph"Come, the diner's getting cold," said a lovely bride, "we may have forever but the food is only temporary." "Ah, Melanie," said Drake, "I would like you to meet two of our new friends, including the original owner of the mansion." "Pleased to meet you," said melanie, with graceful curtsie. ((I've noticed that very few women here do curtsies)) |
RienneaAkemi simply smiled. "Thank you you two. Oh, and nice to meet you Melanie, I'm Akemi." She greeted. Iris giggled, her eyes now an ochre colour. "Iris...no need to be so energetic." Iris ignored her friend. "Hi, my name's Iris. I'm also sometimes called Moon, but call me whichever you like." She didn't bother mentioning her actual name, knowing no one would call her that. |
Sand Josieph"A pleasure to meet you two," said Melanie. Then she thoughtfully said, "Hmm, Iris Moon. That actually sounds quite beautiful." |
RienneaIris blushed. "Sorry, I didn't explain that right. People call me moon because an Iris is the flower of the moon. Sorry if I didn't make that clear..." |
Sand Josieph"Don't worry," said Melanie, "I knew what you meant. I was just pondering how the two words sounded together." "She's a Scrabble nut," chuckled Drake. |
RienneaAkemi smiled lightly as she lost her strength and began floating in the air like the rest of the spirits. "Iris! Help!" This wasn't uncommon...actually, it was quite the opposite, and so Iris flew up and brought her friend down to ground. After getting a bit of her strength back she began to lightly float above the ground. "Sorry...it's hard for me to stand on the ground for too long, and I forgot that I should be floating like now." Akemi stated. |
Sand Josieph"Hmm," said Drake, "You must be a different kind of ghost. I'm a Galadian Ghost, which is essentially the memory of someone or something that refuses to be forgotten. That's why my apparation is here, to remind people of my existance." |
Riennea"Yes I am different. Only samurais can become the spirit I am now. I survive not because I refuse to be forgotten, but because my life was a living nightmare, and so I had no choice but to become a spirit. We are called the Samurai Spirits, since my father couldn't come up with something more classy..." explained Akemi. Iris nodded in aggreance, being her rarely nosy self. |
Sand Josieph"We've gained all sorts of spirits over the past few years," said Drake, "We have kings and queens, knights, mafia hitmen, gladiators, emporers, and even a few inanimate objects." "We can give you a tour of the new facilities after dinner," said Melanie. |
RienneaAkemi sighed a bit angrily, annoyed that her once samurai building was now a dormitory for any kind of ghosts. Iris slapped her head. "Shut up idiot!" She exclaimed, her ochre eyes now a dark, beating red. "They're being nice, so don't think such stupid thoughts!" |
Sand Josieph"The only way the Fates saved this place was by sending us those ghosts," said Drake, "With so many people coming to pay respect to their fallen loved ones, the town had no choice but to keep it standing." |
RienneaAkemi and Iris stared in confusion...he could read thoughts? |
Sand Josieph"No," said Drake, "I can't read thoughts, but I can read body language and facial expressions. It was that sigh that told me what you were thinking." |
Riennea"Oh..." Akemi whispered, flushed from embarrasement. Iris giggled lightly. "She's being over-emotional...no surprise!" "Hey!" growled Akemi angrily. Iris giggled once again. |
Sand Josieph"Come, the dinner's getting cold," said Melanie, "We need to get our groundskeeper and his dog, acquainted with you." | #47 Jul 25th, 11:57am . Edited Jul 25th, 12:01pm

Riennea((Melody? You mean Melanie right?)) "Who are they?" Iris asked. |
Sand Josieph((Sorry, I have another character who has the Melody. I've edited my last post)) "They're right there," Drake said, pointing to a middle-aged man with a cap and his unnerved dog, "They're Everet McGill and Galiant, the dog." |
RienneaIris greeted Everet immediately, and began petting the dog. Akemi said hi simply, but didn't go any further in discussion. |
