Delaih smiled and then sighed. "Oh i like you little kitty but i don't know if i will be able to care for you." The cat meowed and then licked the glass again. "No kitty i cant take you with me. You are cute but i cant." Deliah sighed as the cat meowed again. "No do not weaken me with your cute ways."

One of the workers opened the case where the black kitten was and picked her up.

Deliah looked at the cat. "Wait i was going to..." Deliah felt a little sad and sighed. "I knew i was taking my sweet time trying to think about buying it or not. Deliah feeling sad slid out the pet store and sat on the bench closest to it. "I wanted the kitty."

"That's why I decided to buy it for you..." a voice stated behind her back.

"Aw, isn't that precious," Trigger said, smiling goofily.

Delaih looked behind her and tilted her head. "You..." Delaih looked down blushing a little at the sight of a guy. "Uh hi. I'm uh.. Do you know who i am i forgot my name."

"I do believe your name is Deliah, or so I heard from your friend when I was sitting on the bench. My name's Darius Snow, pleased to meet you." He stated, putting out his hand.

"Hey stupid idiot! You were supposed to buy one for your sister, not some girl you think you might get a date with!"

Darius sighed as he ignored his jealous friend who had just tried to hook up with this girl.

Deliah smiled and looked at Darius. "Nice to meet you." Deliah smiled and sighed. "I would put my hand out but i cant right now. I seem to be unable to move."

"Hello, Darius," said Trigger, "I'm Trigger and these are my baby dragons, Scatter and Inventory."

"Hewwo!" both dragons said in unison, climbing onto her shoulders.

"And why so?" He asked still holding the cat.

Aaron came up and whispered a comment in Darius's ear.

"Why don't you go hook up with that Trigger girl. You have the same skin tone while I have the same skin tone as Deliah, so we'd match!" He whispered.

Darius growled.

Delaih shrugged. "I just never thought a guy would talk to me. I guess i know now how i make guy's feel when i talk to them out of nowhere." Delaih looked at the cat and giggled. "It was to cute not to stop staring at." Deliah giggled and petted the cat.

Trigger silently laughed when she heard Aaron with her supersonic hearing.

Darius smiled. She seemed interesting.

"C'mon, hook up with Trigger!" Aaron whispered and Darius sighed.

"Excuse me for a second." He stated, and grabbed Aaron and left to the corner of outside the store. "Racist bastard! You can probably tell she doesn't like you since aparently that cat has more significance than you!"

Delaih looked at Trigger. "So uh you ... yeah that was odd he seemed a little irritated when his friend came." Deliah sighed. "Such a cute cat."

Darius sighed as he came back.

"Sorry about that." He then turned to behind him. "Aaron, you okay back there?"

"Yes..." Aaron moaned, and dropped to the floor.

"What happened to him?" Trigger asked Darius.

Deliah giggled and stared at Aaron. "Poor guy he really should be careful when saying things to friends," thought Deliah.

Darius smirked.

"Oh he just needed to learn what to say and what not to say...ever..." He replied.

"Well, that's putting it bluntly," Trigger said to Darius.

"I think it was mean!" said little Scatter from her shoulder.

Aaron walked from behind them all.

"Darius...should we get something for Amy, or should we leave now?"

Darius smiled.

"Actually, I already got something for Amy when I bought the black cat for Deliah. You can go home now, I'm staying..." He replied.

Deliah petted the cat and cuddled it. "Oh so cute little kitty. I think you will be called..." Deliah paused. "I think you should name it."

"I'm already loose on ideas for my sister's cat, yours might take a while to name...you should name it..."

"I have these two to keep me company," said Trigger and Scatter and Inventory nuzzled against the side of her head.

Deliah let out a sigh and stared at the cat as it meowed and then lye on her chest. "How about Candy or ...." Deliah sighed and smiled. "I think maybe Starlet."

"How about Kuro or Kuroneko? Kuro means black and Kuroneko means black cat. I know it's just a suggestion, but how about it?" Darius asked, while Aaron left.

Delaih smiled i like Kuro." Deliah lifted the cat and looked at it. "Kuro is your new name." The cat meowed and licked Delaihs nose. "Oh you are cute!"

Darius smiled and then felt his leg vibrate.

"Oh damn it, not now!" He muttered.

Deliah looked at Darius and what he wore then looked at what she had on. "It is like we are from two different worlds,"thought Deliah. delaih fixed her dress and then sighed. "I am from a place that practically belives in the old midevial times rules."

Darius took his phone from his pocket.

"Sorry, got to take this..." He stated, and left around the corner. "What do you want?"

"What do you mean what do I want? You got another mission dipsh*t! Get over here now!"

"Spare me! Today's my day off remember? Go tell Neo if I'm working today, then I quit!"

"You can't quit! We raised you! You're family, and you must follow tradition! That's being an assasin!"

"Shut up, leave me alone!"

Darius hung up and dropped to the floor. Sighing heavily, he closed his eyes in need of some warmth, mother warmth...warmth he didn't get anymore since Neo had killed his mother...

Deliah looked at the cat and set it down. "Come on Kuro follow me." Deliah walked to where she saw Darius go and saw him there on the floor. "I kinda get impatient at times and.." Deliah sat on the floor next to Darius as the cat crawled over her and onto her lap. "What is wrong?" Deliah moved closer to Darius her dress spread out.

"My boss, or dad in other words, wants me to...to get back to work but today is my day off. My sister works there also, and so she called me and started yelling at me. I told her if today wasn't my day of then I quit...so yeah..." He explained, sighing once again.

"So you just quit your job?" asked Trigger, still standing.

Deliah Hugged Darius making the cat roll off her lap and on the floor. "I do not know exactly how you feel. My family never was around alot. I only saw them when i could and even then we never said much to one an other." Deliah laughed and let go of Darius.

Darius smiled in thankfullness. He then looked up at Trigger.

"Sorta, for now. But knowing my family, they're going to come and get me back to work again. It's ironic really, they're doing their job while getting me back...well not really, they're kidnapping me not...nevermind." Darius cut himself off before revealing the full proof truth.

Little Scatter and Inventory jumped down to the ground and tried to play with the cat.

Darius tried to avoid conversation, and so his white cat that he bought for his sister, jumped down and played with Kuro, Scatter and Inventory. He avoided eye contact with the two girls, and so he began watching the animals play.

"My my," chuckled Trigger, watching her companions play with the cats, "How the opposites attract..."

Deliah looked at Darius and tilted her head. "You know my job is..." Deliah smiled and then looked at the cat. "I have a job that takes me places but i can never go there again. This job is..." Deliah looked up at Trigger. "My job is... I am a Fighter. I fight people then leave. Yeah that is what i am."

"So?" said Trigger, "I'm an assassin. I kill for a living..."

Darius looked up at Trigger with wide eyes.

"My job is...I am a slave of a worker some people consider 'god'. I was raised as 'god's' child ever since my mother, the man's wife, died when he murdered her. She was willing to tell everyone about what we were doing to get all the deaths to stop. My mother was the only one who udnerstanded me, and so when she died, my dad took control and made me and my elder sister suffer, while my younger sister is in hiding where only I know where. My job is in a strange corporation..."

"I see," said Trigger, "And is that the reason you are here in the laziest college campus in the world?"

Darius shook his head.

"The reason I'm here is to...is to improve on my work to become a better...worker. Though it is very lazy, I still go to classes regularly, though I hate it..."

Deliah sighed. "I have the same job as you and Trigger. I do not flaunt my job. It is a job that is rather dangerous and will always haunt me. The lifes i take are some times innocent. I guess i just feel bad for them that there lifes are gone so qouickly." Deliah sighed.

Darius shrugged.

"My job as a...well you know, is hardly dangerous since we've been experimented on to become better quality assasins. I used to love it at first, but now it's terrible. My victim's aren't to be sad for. Before we start work, we see who they are, and decide if they should die...strange matter actually..."

"Anyways, I should get going, Aaron's probably **."

Deliah nodded. "Yeah you... uh... You should go i guess." Deliah petted the black cat and then looked down at the floor. "Mom, dad, and sister. I do not know those words they never came from my mouth," thought Deliah. Deliah stood and grinned.

"Are you really going?" Trigger asked.

Deliah scratched her head and gave out a sigh. Deliah petted the cat and then looked around smiling a little but feeling a little sad.

As Darius called Shiro, the white cat, he did not listen as he sat beside Kuro. Sighing, he saw Aaron hanging out with a couple of girls from school. He chuckled.

"I guess I'm staying..." He stated, and sat beside Deliah. He noticed her sadness. "What's wrong?" He asked, worried.

Deliah looked up and gave a smile. "Oh it is nothing just my thoughts seem to be getting to me. I am ok." Deliah smiled and then yawned. Deliah laughed and smiled. "Oh i guess i am tired."

Darius chuckled and smiled.
