Not being able to attempt many styles because I find them too cheesy.

my extreme lack of motivation in front of a computer. i have the ideas, but my fingers are too slow (or lazy) with a keyboard.

My tendancy to get too far ahead of myself and get the 'how do i get to THERE' variety of writers block

I seem to get ahead of myself easily, too. It's real annoying. I have this whole idea in my head, like it's a movie instead of a book. I can see the major parts, but none of the fine details. It usually takes me a minute to come up with those :S ...and that's not always fun...

I'm exceedingly picky, and will reread and rewrite the same thing an odd 50 times before moving on with the next paragraph. I can't let the 'small stuff' go, and it drives me insane.

Procrastination, sometimes plagiarizing...

I have that same problem, Kaida Shade. It's enough to make your head spin at times.

Paragraphs! I take pride in a snappy, blunt writing style that moves quickly...but sometimes it feels like I shouldn't go that way, like I could still add more without detracting from the story.

I also describe things very vaguely. It's ironic though, about a year ago I used to describe things so much that it'd end up being boring!

And lastly, I tend to abuse ellipses and italics. I'm trying to cut back on that.

If combat is going to feature a role in one of my stories (and sometimes if it's not), I have trouble balancing my protagonist's power out. I tend to either twink them out (load them down with individually minor powers like super speed, a healing factor, teleportation, and low- level telekinesis, that all combine to emulate godhood), or create glass cannons (characters with insane offensive power, but no substantial defensive capabilities); this makes it *really* hard to write fight scenes...

Procrastination and lack of motivation are my weaknesses. I suppose the procrastination part is my fault but the lack of motivation is because I have almost no support from my family. My mother. Only she supports me. When I'm writing my dad always wants me to get off the computer. I'll be in the middle of a chapter and he'll be like, "You've been on for an hour. GET OFF!" I don't know, it just really gets to me and I don't get the motivation like I used to when I first started writing.

Not thinking my stories the whole way through before I start writing them...then continuing without stopping writing chapter after chapter until the whole story doesn't make sence at all...then killing a little bit of my soul while I delete it.
