He looks young, yet wise beyond his years...

His expression is a cross of lost train of thought, heavy pondering, and a blank stare.

I don't know what the name of his emotion is (or the facial expression) but if I saw someone make that face, I would assume their mind was either being controlled or it was on a distant land. Like the feeling of reading a great story and you feel like you were in it. That or he just has nothing to think about aand needs to be inspired.
