Will SachiksyTopic: Reviving Works Do you have any works or ideas you are trying to revise or edit as a new piece?A Long Forgotten Kingdom is a poem I originally wrote in eighth grade, but I've since revised it and also created a "cut-up" version. I've also always wanted to write another story set in an online game or community, but I keep blanking out every time I try to write one. |

Ivory TaintI do that with a lot of my earlier works. That's why I never throw away any of my old notebooks. If there was a fire in my room and I only had time to grab a few things, I would save as much of my writing as I could. I'm thinking of re-writing the "Attack of the Mutant Vegetables" story idea I had in fifth grade. Only, I'd have to come up with a better plot. :p |

Miriam DoyleWhenever I try to revive things I've wrote before, but just can't do it the way I'd initially wanted it, I blend it into another story. My story Oculus Exanimus is the final melding, blending and warping of two ideas I once had; one about a bunch of kids on an island with many secrets, and another more Atlantis-like story that involved angels who fought each other, and people who exchanged souls. The result, in my opinion, is the best story idea I've ever come up with in my life :) |

Will Sachiksy Whenever I try to revive things I've wrote before, but just can't do it the way I'd initially wanted it, I blend it into another story. I've tried doing that, but everytime I try to fuse different ideas, it just seems to make one slightly less mediocre idea. Maybe when I've made a Katamari-ball-ful of ideas, I'll finally have a really good story concept. Good luck with your story, by the way. |
