| Bushwah There is an earthquake that collapses a house on someone and a mysterious spellcaster must come to her aid. 4/15/2012 #2An overly polite computer drives a spacer to suicide in the Galactic Deeps. No one seems to understand that the Government's welfare is not the only object. A boy and a girl (twins?) run away from home, determined that they will make a difference -- whatever the cost. Is the umbrella big enough for three? A humorous question that hints at the deeper meaning: Which of us do you love? Too much mail for the General! A messenger in the Army of a mythical world is overwhelmed. A crazy man tries to talk himself out of leaving his asylum. A homeless girl vents her anger at a rock that she's found that looks like a person. The strange men are determined to break her -- but Annabella is not going to betray her newfound friends. She would rather die... and death indeed seems her only possible fate. |
 In Case You Haven't Noticed (Caution, this is LONG) The world had gone almost entirely underwater years and years ago, except for Atlantis, which is now for some reason in the clouds and now called Taslitan, an anagram of itself, and a small patch of land directly beneath called Undearth. Taslitan steals the citizens away from Undearth, and brainwashes them into believing that everything they say is true...however, one girl has not been brainwashed by accident, and she finds out the true reason why so many new people keep appearing in Taslitan - and along the way, she also discovers that the earth around them had gone above water again a long, long time ago, and life is flourishing. 7/25/2012 #3 |

| In Case You Haven't Noticed Thanks! :) I like yours too! Reminds me of the Sirens from Greek mythology, or maybe the Inferi from Harry Potter? Another idea: a young girl lives in Canada and is a swimming prodigy that nobody knows about. This is in the future. For some strange reason, people stop changing around her, trends, etc. stop completely, people don't LEARN anymore, and suddenly people start de-evolving. But, of course, she doesn't. Then she is the only person remaining on Earth who has modern intelligence, the world somehow topples underwater except for the peaks of the tallest mountains, and she is the last person alive, due to her skills in swimming and her general ingenuity. She lives on the peaks of these mountains. The Earth continues de-evolving, leaving her out of the process, and soon the Big Bang or whatever will happen...backwards... 8/10/2012 #5 |
