How scary should they be? I don't like blood and people jumping in my face and screaming and stuff like that.

Anybody read the thing at the foot of the bed? It was scary but not too scary. The only bad thing was the poor guy shot off his big toe. That must have reelly hurt!

Yeah, I thought it was a ghost at first. We need more stories like that one!

That was funny. Scream when you get to the end and grab your best friend and freak everybody out!

There are a lot of books of ghost stories for kids. And of course the Fear Street books, and Goosebumps, although most of them didn't play fair with the reader, throwing in crazy endings that made no sense just so that he could say you couldn't predict the ending. The ending should have something to do with the story and not just be thrown in to surprise people.

Don't get me started about Goosebumps.

Yeah they were okay until the last chapter then they got really dumb.

Possibly because the first few had obvious endings. Like the mummy which I believe was book five.

We could do better than Goosebumps.

Halloween sun dresses and Halloween winter coats? That sounds weird.

Santa Claus has goblins and trolls making presents instead of dwarves. And they're all monster toys.

Dolls with horns and teddy bears with fangs and claws.

Lots of Frankenstein, Dracula, Wolfman, and Mummy toys.

I get too many monster toys for my birthday alredy!

But those are the most fun to play with! XD

Monsters can be interesting characters if you don't treat them as mindless creatures. That doesn't mean turning them into Twilight though.
