I don't pay too much attention to celebrities and that sort, and that most people had posted pics of them, so I had to the intention that...sorry, cool. The photo was taken pretty good too, but then I guess it's hard to tell from that small size.

I haven't been to FFN due to my personal resentment to writing fanfics - I have the idea that I'd wreck my fav story trying to write it :( I'm not sure if I can say this, but my story's a little insane - well it's a bit unexpected anyway. Hm, outside of FP I don't really know many writers, or people keen on writer at least, so I've relied on this a bit. Oh! And guess I'm a bit late right? So, you're already working on something. Never mind then. So to speak, editing the story many times feels like going around in circles - I feel dizzy now.

Ha, yeah thanks for the update. I noticed addiction too. Maybe it sounded better that way. To be honest, I'd be more addicted to observing beauty than something like drugs, smoking or alcohol. It's a bit like art appreciation.

Thanks :) My best friend took the photo at outside the mall, and then she messed with the background to creepzoids wouldn't recognize the location (I've had those experiences before... D: ) The full version's on my DevArt profile, though :)

I don't know many people outside FP that make for good beta readers either, simply because not many people I talk to like literature very much. Although, some of my good friends are always willing to beta for me... I envy one of my friends because his writing blows me away, but he helps me out with my writing when it comes to picking out the awkward phrases that don't fit in. And then another friend of mine, though she's not into writing, gives me her honest opinion, which I appreciate because some of my friend only give me compliments.

Haha, I know what you mean... Plus, after I've gone through my writing tons of times, editing and reving, it gets tiring to read my own stuff XD

**And thank YOU for leaving me a review! :)

Yay! I saw the full photo - eskimo and all. Yeah, nice hair and everything. Way cool!

Oh well, I finally bothered to write up by beta-profile. Was meant to a while ago. After all, the topic of this thing is review, and hey that's what we did! Great.

I know people outside FP that have helped a bit, but they aren't as good in English and read pretty slow, so I rather not add to their burden.

Wowie, hi concon! Why are you always in the topics I read? :P

Anyhow:

I have grown used to the lack of reviewing spirit in FP. I see reviews now as a favour, and lets face it: no good deed goes unpunished. Everywhere here on FP I see lots of people quite frankly nagging that it's so hard to get reviews, but that's just a part of reality. This site is super big for one, and has a lot of sporadic authors coming and going. Many aren't that active from what I have seen.

So yeah. Lots of people nag about it, but do they do anything?

I try, at least. And I think everyone else should too, instead of being in woe.

But guess what? Even then it will be hard to get reviews. But you live like you learn then. Life is unfair, big deal. Internet life is too. But there are lots of review exchanges and such here on the forums. If people really want it, they CAN get it. Sure it's a pity people won't do it voluntarily but that's how it is.

Spread the review love, and you'll get some review lovin' back :)

Heya Frac!

No, my current thinking is if we try hard enough and do a good enough product, then we'll get reviews. It's because most people just complain and don't do anything that don't get reviews and start nagging.

And I look at it in two ways. Normal advertising is advertising, which is what you're going to need to do - like posting in forums - but nagging becomes bad. Say you just ask people to read and not like trying to suck up and what not. I remember like for a singer, she didn't advertise and got lower sales than another sing although in history they were pretty equal.

Well, yeah I've been reviewing too :)

I don't quite agree with this... I have read really wonderful pieces, and somehow those that seem like they could be done by professionals, are the ones getting low attention, too. Of course, if your story is a ** piece of grammatical errors it will be less likely anyone checks it out but having a story that is good doesn't really guarantee anything.

...Err, it sounds like I am saying "don't bother writing properly" but I am not! Quality! Woot woot! :P

Reviewing others helps a lot (but not as much as one would like). Spread the review love! :D

...Dammit I think I lost my point somewhere. Ah well, point is: Nag not! Review a lot! :D (wow, a slogan!)
