![]() Heh. I have the same username on Gaia as I do here, though I mostly lurk the message boards so you probably haven't seen me. 10/11/2009 #1,321 |
![]() I might have. I'm bad with names. -_- 10/11/2009 #1,322 |
![]() Hi I'm Amber :D I don't really know what to say about myself so that's what I'll say. Yep sounds like a good plan. Oh and that I'm going to try and not ramble too much, which I tend to do. I'm not sure if I'm adding this correctly either. I haven't really posted anything on forums before so if it's wrong I apologize... 10/11/2009 #1,323 |
![]() You did fine, writingright. Welcome aboard. 10/11/2009 #1,324 |
![]() Good thing, too, or I would've banned your ass. Just kiddingggg. Welcome. :D 10/11/2009 #1,325 |
![]() She really is kidding. I don't think I've seen Katy ban anyone on this forum, and I've been here since 2008. And welcome! 10/12/2009 #1,326 |
![]() Well thank you everyone XD I was a little scared when I read about banning. I did feel extremely smart that I did it right though- which I shouldn't because it's really not that hard... I don't think. I'm just a worry wart.- 10/12/2009 #1,327 |
![]() XD I just posted for the first time a little bit ago. I was worried about the same thing. Anyways, welcome. 10/12/2009 #1,328 |
![]() What... what are you people worried about? What do you think would count as "doing it wrong"? What exactly do you think you'd have to do to actually be banned? Mind you - I was banned from a forum once. For flirting (kinda sorta) with the underage girls. But Christ man - on that forum, they were ALL underage girls! Well, mostly, anyway. And mostly lesbian, too! But that was back when I was into yuri. I've... uh... changed... since then. (lol bring on the underage boys! **yay!**) But seriously, unless you were TRYING to be offensive (aka, "a troll") you'll be okay. And even if you WERE to espouse troll-like opinions, if they were your honest opinions, you still wouldn't be banned. This is the 'Net. And it's a forum devoted to gay male fiction - which often includes such made-up words as "twincest" and "cat-boy", oft with underage characters, drug-use, rape, and death. Speak your mind! HOW do y'all imagine you'd offend someone who comes to such a place? 10/12/2009 #1,329 |
![]() With het fangirlness and extolling the brilliance of Stephanie Meyer? :D 10/12/2009 #1,330 |
![]() I meant I was afraid of posting wrong, not offending people. I offend people on a regular basis. -_- 10/12/2009 #1,331 |
![]() Heh - well, I don't think Katy would actually BAN a Twilight fan. They'd just be the subject of good-natured (but un-ending) ridicule, is all. And Succlent - yeah, this is not the friendliest forum software around... but ohwell. At least there aren't any 400x800 graphical "signatures" on every post... BOY does that get old. It'd be nice if there was a "show new posts since last visit" button... but it's better than it was. Now it arranges the headings chronologically - didn't used to even do that. One had to memorize the time-stamps on each subject to figure out if anything new had been posted. 10/12/2009 #1,332 |
![]() Oh I think I had the same worry as Ambush, I didn't want my post to show up looking weird and being in the wrong place. I didn't think my stab at a hello was offending anyone. But, I do like twilight. as a book. I'm not obsessed or anything I went with my friend to a twilight book release party because she asked me to. People were literally crying because a girl said Edward had no soul. Which actually made me feel kind of bad that those girls had such little of a life that they didn't realize it was impossible for him to have a soul. He wasn't real... anyway that was sort of a random anecdote. yep. 10/13/2009 #1,333 |
![]() Actually, it's impossible for him to have a soul because vampires as a whole don't have souls. Although I wouldn't be surprised if Meyer changed that, too. 10/13/2009 #1,334 |
![]() I don't care about a soul. He just has to have a heart so he can looove mee~ 10/13/2009 #1,335 |
![]() I think she tried to do a lighter version of Anne Rice's with the characters struggling to deal with their vampirism and if they were going to go to heaven or if there even was a god. but still i thought it was sad that girls were crying at a book release. Just get the book and go. They also seemed to hate who ever didn't support their fan ship. I just said I like Mike Newton. It pissed a bunch of them off and a couple got that I just didn't want to get mauled by the masses. which I wound up doing anyway so, in retrospect not such a good plan. 10/13/2009 #1,336 |
![]() lols. Twilight fangirls. 10/13/2009 #1,337 |
![]() Hello. My name is Annalicia, I'm not so new to fictionpress, just haven't gotten onto the Forums yet. I'm kinda one of those lurkers who likes to read but never really types. I may try to change that in the future, but I may not be able to help my voyeuristic tendencies! mmm yes, let's see, I don't really write. I can do it, don't get me wrong, but I find that I start out with a good premise and then lose interest quick. Yeah, it doesn't work out for me. But, I love to read, love it! I came over here because there is only so much fanfiction a person can handle and I am about at my limit. Oh and the most important, I heart boy love! YAY! So, nice to meet you all *waves and grins maniacally* and hopefully I'll talk more to you soon! 10/21/2009 #1,338 |
![]() Welcome aboard Annalicia (5-syllable name, whoa - or is it two names squashed together...) Here's the secret: ONE interesting premise isn't going to do it. Each chapter MUST have an interesting premise. Each PARAGRAPH (should) have an interesting premise. Yeah, I know whatcha mean. 10/21/2009 #1,339 |
![]() Heyas! Um....Let's see...I'm Elliot, or at least that's what I tell people to call me. My real name's boring and deserves to get stabbed with a rusty....implement! I'm 21 and a girl (all at the same time, I'm a multi-tasker). I lurve zombies something fierce as well as play-by-post rpgs (not to be confused with video game rpgs or D&D type stuff, though I am an admirer of their craft, alas it is not for me). Obviously, I love to write. Specifically boys kissin' and touchin' up on each other. Slash just really give me that warm tingly feeling down there....In my HEART, you pervs! Hmm...I also enjoy being weird, naming inanimate objects (I have a box friend named Stever who is not really a box so much as he is a drawing of a box with a face drawn on it), perfecting my rapping abilities (yo!), and lamenting my lack of mad drawing skillz ([insert crappy picture of an evil plate of spaghetti here]). Oh, and mentally screaming obscenities at my muse (who has curly brown/black-ish hair, one blue eye, a green eye, no shoes and is a lazy mooch, so it's okay to verbally abuse him). Yeah, I do that a lot. Yep...Hmm...I pretty boring, actually. 10/22/2009 #1,340 |
![]() Welcome to the forum :3 10/22/2009 #1,341 |
![]() And welcome Commander Solidify (what an odd name), Elliot, of the boring name! Everyone's "weird" once you know them well enough. Although MOST don't go around naming DRAWINGS of inanimate objects... 10/22/2009 #1,342 |
![]() Yeah, it's one really super long name. Apparently my mother thought she should begin punishing me from day one, especially when people try to pronounce it; however, I still love it even though no one calls me it. Oh well, what can you do! 10/22/2009 #1,343 |
![]() Long name. Most epic. ... I name inanimate objects- not drawings of them so much... My car's name is Ralph. If he was human, he coud be a middle aged, chubby, balding football fan. A clueless lovable one, not one of the scary ones. 10/22/2009 #1,344 |
![]() I don't think I could name inanimate objects when I have a hard time naming my animals, and when I do, I end up calling them several different names. I had a cat for 5 years who went without a name. We just called her cat. Now I have a dog who has, I shit you not, 6 different names. Poor guy, never knew what was coming! So back to the point at hand, I don't like to name things! 10/22/2009 #1,345 |
![]() Hihi. ^^ So... I'm 19, almost 20. I joined this site a couple days ago and decided I'd come lurk around this forum, seeing as it's the one I like the best. XD Um... I'm not really sure what to say here except that I have been writing for about two or three years, and I really enjoy it. My favorite topic to write about is anything slash related. I don't label myself as a sexuality. I'm pretty open to new ideas and concepts. I had an online girlfriend once, about three years ago... now I have a boyfriend. So yeah. You can call me bisexual if you want, but in all reality, that's not what I am. I don't really know what else to say; you can call me TS. I don't want to put my real name out there for people to know. So, hello! 10/23/2009 #1,346 |
![]() Welcome aboard TS. You like anything "slash related"? ... the mind boggles. :) Personal lubricants? Those are "slash related"... lol (or, they SHOULD BE, anyway - god knows you never see anyone in a slash fic use them). 10/23/2009 #1,347 |
![]() Whaaa'?! I use personal lubricants in slash fics all the time! -.-* That seems ridiculous to not use them, in my opinion. Imma have ta write a M/M slash fic for ya'll now. 10/23/2009 #1,348 |
![]() As do I! ...unless there's some sadistic happenings goin' on...then it's blood all the way, bébé ;3 10/23/2009 #1,349 |
![]() Sadistic happenings? Sounds uber kinky! :3 ...Meh, you's making me wanna write a sex scene now. I haven't done that in a long time. 10/23/2009 #1,350 |
