Well, hello all. If any of you have come over from my fantasy forum The Character House, an extra-special hello! Thank you all for joining me. Now, onto the rules. 1) Remember to keep ALL posts PG-13 as this is one of the rules for all forums. 2) If your character is in a story that you have posted, in all or in part, provide us with a link so people can read it. 3) Make sure that you are posting your character in the correct thread. If you have a half-elf/half-unicorn, don't post it in the sci-fi thread. Characters posted in the wrong thread will be deleted. If you have NO idea WHATSOEVER which thread to post your character in, PM me and I will see what I can do. I can't have everyone asking me however, so only use this option as a last resort. 4) Unless you are the VERY FIRST person to post a character in a thread, you must have a comment about someone else's character when you post a new character. I will give you one warning reminding you to post a comment. After your warning, posts not complying to this rule will be deleted. I'm sorry I'm being so harsh about this, but the point of this forum is to help people write better characters. In terms of what counts as a comment, we will accept, "I really like your character." (However, constructive criticism gets you points towards cookies, cake, and pie.) 5) Don't get a stick up your butt if someone criticizes your character, they're only trying to help. That being said however, flaming is not tolerated and any posts containing flaming will be deleted. 6) Make an effort to use correct spelling and grammar. I realize that this can be hard at times, but the better your spelling and grammar are, the easier it is for people to understand your character. Whatever you do, do NOT CaPiTaLiZe EvErY oThEr LeTtEr! This is very hard to read and (I'm going to be very harsh here), if you type like this the post will be deleted. 7) If you feel that a new thread needs to be started, post what you think in here, and the staff (all three of us) will make a decision. That's all (for now *insert ominous music*), gaelicdragon
