Hey guys,

So I've had random bursts of inspiration lately, and have been able to jump to my computer to jot down my thoughts. My problem is that I can't seem to move forward from there, I can't seem to plan out what I want to write, and explain things properly.

How can I contain these outbursts of ideas and then use it to write a pretty thorough story?

Thanks!

I have this problem a lot. I usually get out at least a paragraph and then can't go from there. I suppose, eventually, if all of your ideas are related, then they'll flesh together eventually. If not, try simply making them into short stories. Chapters are hard to get out of one idea, but 'moment-in-time' short stories can be the best.

Sorry that I'm no help at all.

music. Always music.

Try creating a playlist for your story :]] The listening to loads of songs to try and find what put into the playlist really sparks off ideas and emotions :]]

Hope this helped!

Wow. I'm having the same problem too so I would really like some answers. I'm new- just posted a fragment of a longer story on Fictionpress.
