Topic: Tanka (Japan)
A Tanka is a finer form of the Japanese Haiku. The Tanka was more for the nobles, and the Haiku for the commoners. I got to learn al about it in World History.

It goes in order like this:

5 Syllables

7 Syllables

5 Syllables

7 Syllables

7 Syllables

If you need an example, you can see my poem called "Snow."

Enjoy!

All Alone With Her Thoughts
Sounds like a twist of a haiku - but longer, you know? Intresting. I think I'll try it one time.

Oh yeah I'm someone that usually forgets the rules. I'll probably copy this down so I can try it a little later. Thanks.
