I know this is a bit of an older topic, but I can honestly say I did not like them.

The look on vampires was cute, but had so many holes in the "explanation behind the supernatural". If they have to feed even two weeks to a month, why arn't there people wondering about missing personal who's bodies and killers are never found? While I'm fine with books

I'm not a huge fan of classic romance, so I have no right to comment there. One major pet peeve that ** me off was the fact she rejected two perfectly good men who looked like they would make outstanding normal boyfriends for a dark, brooding man who ignored her half the time and insulted her the other half.

And god, all I can remember about Edward after all the discription of these traits was his pale, "god like" skin, his topaz/amber/golden eyes, and his pretty voice. It would have been nice for the author to have trusted us enough to not have to discribe him and non one else every five pages.

I haven't read the books yet but my best friend is pushing me to read them. They seem to be some kind of phenenomen that either has everyone loving or hating them, which has led me to wonder if it's another Eragon. But whatever it is, I'll reserve judgement till I (evantually) get round to reading them.

I actually like all three of the books in the Twilight series. I found that it was a good story, becoming more complex and emotional as the story went on. I agree that it is a bit unrealistic that the Cullens feed two weeks out of a month, especially when animal blood does not make them as strong as human blood. I've also been thinking for the past week about how flawless Edward is (and that is not a good thing). I almost hope for him to go wrong in Breaking Dawn because he is too perfect for any character, and even though he is complex, his complexity seems to have no flaws. His siblings all have flaws (Jasper has trouble resisting human blood, Alice depends too much on her ability to see the future, Rosalie is vain, and okay, I cannot find a flaw in Emmett). But I think that the magic in these books are fine, nothing too unrealistic when it comes to magic (it has to have some mystery).

I think of the Twilight books as kind of a guilty pleasure--I'm fairly sure it's the teenage girl in me. Whatever its flaws, the books made me really care about the characters--I didn't read the whole middle of New Moon because I was so ticked that Edward and Bella weren't together!

Heyy..

I absolutely do not like those books.

I cannot believe that Bella and Edward have a healthy relationship because Edward's "perfect" everything makes Bella feel inferior.

For those who have read Breaking Dawn: How can Bella conceive a child with Edward? Edward's body is dead. How can he be producing sperm? And how can he get an erection? He would have to drink a massive amount of blood or something.

The most likable character was Jacob.

I love the twilight series! I have read Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn and I eagerly await Midnight Sun! Debohn Hied, I HATED Jacob. With a passion. He was so stupid and immature. Oh, and a jerk. After I read breaking dawn I liked him better, It showed a nicer side of him, and I really liked the way things turned out for him but still, Edward is definintly the best character. Also, the fact that Bella had poor self esteem has nothing to do with Edward, she had poor self esteem to begin with, and in any case, they're both perfect now! I thought the books were a really cute romance story, and I enjoyed them a lot. :)

I think Emmett's flaw would be that he enjoys a fight a bit too much. :)
