It's August. Halloween is (practically) right around the corner.

You need to do a Naeven/Lark Halloween special. (Not like the Peanuts Halloween specials, because I hope no one here worships the Great Pumpkin.) Even if Lark and Naeven don't celebrate Halloween, we fans need to see some scary slashy action.

RoseRed and I were talking (actually IMing, but that's irrelevant) and we came up with the kinkiest/scariest thing possible:

The Exorcist

Think about it: Naeven pinned to a bed by Lark, Lark trying to force the "evil" out of him. Naeven shaking from the intensity of it all, getting sweaty, his eyes rolling up in his head from the pleasure/exorcism of it all.

Yeah. You know that's hot.

Just remember I wasn't the only creative mind behind this--you can blame Rose too! (Sorry Rose, I'm selling you out.)

Anyone else have any ideas for a Halloween special? Or just a really scary short they'd like to force Emsledge to write? Go ahead, give your suggestions!

(Oh and Emsledge, if I'm doing something wrong or you're peeved at me for suggesting this, sorry. But it's been a slow couple of weeks at these forums and I need a vent for my excessive teenage girl pervertedness.)

And actually, they do have a holiday like Halloween, called Sah' ni ky Omoban (Day of the Dead). I haven't given any thought to how they might celebrate it, so there's an idea.

Okay, I can work with this. Halloween-ish smut. Oh! Oh! Idea! A mage's confrence with everyone in disguise, and the scary part is trying to figure out which person is Jaguan, lol.

That would be fun.

Halloween special sounds just awesome. Naeven could be the girl from the Ring. And since she's got a dress, that gives Lark easy access. -gasp- Did I say that with a staight face?! Yes I did!

That would be weird... Not the dress part... I mean fuc...er...making love to the girl from The Ring...

Nightmares and strange ** ahoy.

Or...vampire theme. Hee hee...

(With a tail on that outfit too... That way Lark can lead him around like a little puppy. ^^)

It'd be hilarious if Lark didn't get it....and everyone was laughing....

Completely Alternate Universe -- such as, but not necessarily, Lark is a college freshman with a crush on his sexy/scary English Prof and they end up hooking up at the campus Halloween party.

Semi-AU -- a story still set in their world, but that will have no place in the actual books.

Cannon -- a story that I could work into a later book, like the Jan/Vaelen and Rayne/Belaeden stories.

Plug and socket ... very dirty .

I've got a few ideas, but horror just isn't my genre, so it's not likely to be scary. That, and I feel bad for scaring Lark; he's been through enough. OMG, that's why I can never kill any of my characters, I get too attached. Lol.

But I love them.

If scary isn't your thing, you could just do something when Naeven tries to scare Lark but it backfires or something. XD

We can just have Naeven dress up like a Catholic school boy (or girl...) and Lark could be a priest!

Crucifixes can be useful...

And I've cried killing characters of mine...but I've also laughed... It all depends on if I like them or not. xD

But wouldn't Lark be a nice priest, not a molester-priest?

I liked the disguised Mage Conference-thingy, too...

As soon as the shop door is shut and bolted behind the last customer, I race up the tower stairs, the letter from Rayne clutched tight in my fist. Sactaren isn't in the workshop, so I shove open the door of his bedroom. He turns and raises an eyebrow as I stop in the doorway, and then he finishes pulling up his pants. My eyes slide down his bare chest, smooth and golden in the lamplight, long silvery hair falling in loose curls over his shoulders, and he clears his throat, a slight smirk on his face.

"Did you want something?" he asks, picking up his shirt from off the end of the bed. I stride forward and hold out the letter.

"Rayne came by this morning to deliver this." He takes it, but I don't want to wait for him to read it. "It's an invitation. There's going to be a costume party down in the main square, and there's going to be dancing, and food, and games, and –"

"And you want to go," he says, giving the invitation a cursory glance before handing it back to me. "Have fun." My face falls.

"No, you – you have to come with me," I say. He grunts and turns away, but I can see a grin tugging at the corner of his mouth.

"And what will you give me if I go with you?" Horny bastard. Now it's my turn to grin, though. I step up behind him, my hands on his hips, and press my groin against his butt.

"Naeven," I say, speaking softly in his ear, "maybe you ought to consider, instead, what you won't be getting if you don't come with me." And with that, I walk away.

I decided on a costume party in the village, rather than the mage's confrence, so that Rayne and Belaeden could participate, because I know how much Alchemage loves Belaeden XP

Bel can be the Scarecrow and Rayne can be Dorothy. O.o

Yay for Rayne and Bel.
