![]() Nalini gasped as the pain rippled her shoulder blades again. Making sure no one had followed her; she partially unwound her sari and removed her shirt, sighing in relief as her black wings emerged. Such was the legacy of her father. She stretched, completely bare in the moonlight. Her father would kill her if he knew what she was doing, but it couldn’t be helped. She hadn’t been able to get back to her room in time. Tucking the shirt, which was useless right now into her sari and rewove it about her, she didn’t actually NEED the shirt. Leaning against the railing, she looked down and saw one of her classmates and a large white cat. On a hunch, she worked her magic on opposites and covered the moon momentarily. She was right, the cat turned into Kat. She felt that smile thing appear again, and went inside. 4/07/2007 . Edited 4/07/2007 #2 |
![]() Marissa strolled out onto the rooftop and sat down. 4/07/2007 #3 |
![]() Gracie climbed up onto the tower, still sniffling. She stopped short when she saw someone else was already there. “Oh!” she exclaimed. “D-Do you want me to leave?” She didn’t look too happy… 4/07/2007 #4 |
![]() Without even facing the new person, Marissa shrugged. 4/07/2007 #5"Free country, kid, take a seat." |
![]() “Okay!” Gracie said cheerfully, complying. “Owchie…” she added as she jostled the bite that mean rabbit had given her. “I’m Gracie,” she informed the girl. 4/07/2007 #6 |
![]() "Marissa." 4/07/2007 #7She smirked,"Did you just say...owchie?" |
![]() “A bunny bit me,” Gracie pouted, holding out her arm. “The animals at home were so nice, but the first one I meet here was that bunny rabbit and he bit me!” She blew on it. “I put some stuff on it but I couldn’t find any band-aids big enough.” 4/07/2007 #8 |
![]() "Those damn bunnies," Marissa said drily. 4/07/2007 #9She wrinkled her nose when she looked at the cut. Yuck. Those damn bunnies indeed. It's a good thing it didn't bite here. She would've made a nice little fur muff out of it's furry little butt... |
![]() “Still…” Gracie said “It was soooo cute!” 4/07/2007 #10 |
![]() Marissa shrugged. 4/07/2007 #11"I prefer dogs." |
![]() “Ooooh; they’re cute too!” Gracie cried, then winced as she moved her bite again. “Except those ones with the really square faces and tiny little legs that bark really low and eat kittens. I don’t like those ones.” 4/07/2007 #12 |
![]() "Pitbulls?" 4/07/2007 #13 |
![]() Gracie shuddered. "I don't like bulls, either. Their minds are always angry or...thinking about cows." she finished in a rush, a deep blush making her freckles fade into the general reddness. 4/07/2007 #14 |
![]() She raised an eyebrow. 4/07/2007 #15"Uhm...okay. Animal Lover chick person..." This Gracie girl talked too much. |
![]() “I can talk to animals,” Gracie said, staring up at the thousands of stars. “Oooh, twinkly. Anyway, they used to think I was schizophrenic, because I would go off alone and talk to squirrels. My brother said that they were probably the ones who gave me ADD, but I think he has it too.” 4/07/2007 #16 |
![]() "I hadn't noticed." 4/07/2007 #17 |
![]() Gracie looked at her in surprise, “Of course you haven’t; you’ve never met him! He’s still back in Michigan, on our farm.” 4/07/2007 #18 |
![]() "Riiiiight." Marissa drawled,boredly. 4/07/2007 #19 |
![]() “So, what can you do?” Gracie asked. 4/07/2007 #20 |
![]() "Mess up weather and mess up stuff with my mind," She replied simply. 4/07/2007 #21 |
![]() Gracie giggled nervously, the said, “You’re going to strike me dead with lightening now, aren’t you?” 4/07/2007 #22 |
![]() "Nah, I'm saving it for the people who REALLY ** me off." She played with a piece of her hair and grinned wickedly at the thought of doing some damage. 4/07/2007 #23 |
![]() “Good!” Gracie sighed, relieved. “Cause I at least want to get kissed before I die!” She turned eagerly to the other girl. “Have you met any cute boys here?” 4/07/2007 #24 |
![]() Marissa doubted there would be any cute boys to look upon anyway. She had only been here for a couple of hours anyway, so she had no clue. 4/07/2007 #25She shook her head. "Not that I know of." |
![]() Gracie deflated, utterly crushed. “Oh. Oh well. Why would a cute boy look at ME anyway?” Then, thinking about her companion’s responses so far, she added quickly “Don’t answer that. Have you met ANYONE so far?” She hadn’t. She couldn’t FIND anyone. 4/07/2007 #26 |
![]() ((Ok, no talking for ten minuets=me going to bed. I have to go see my sister sing at church in a few hours...Yay.)) 4/07/2007 #27 |
![]() ((heeheehee if ya wanna see a cute boy or just some more ppl in general look over railing - in the Outside thread thingy)) 4/08/2007 #28 |
![]() ((Hardy har har. Why can't that kind of thing ever happen to me? Aargh! (Pulling hair))) 4/08/2007 #29 |
![]() Keahi left the Ability Control Classroom and headed back to the South Tower that held her room. But instead of staying on the first floor, she decided to see what was upstairs. She climbed up the tower and found there was a door leading outside. Maybe here she could get some air and some privacy. When she walked outside she saw two other girls out there. Thinking of what the teacher had said back in Ability Control, she remembered that the girls were named Nalini and Marissa. 4/08/2007 #30Instead of confronting them, she walked a few feet away and looked around at her surroundings. After a few moments she decided that this would be a good place to go to when she needed to think. |
