Topic: Nalini's Tower

((Above her room, she has the top of one of the towers))

It was bare rock mostly, with small patches of moss here and there, and several dying curls of ivy grasping tentatively to the rock wall. Nalini looked sadly at a small patch of moss, remembering how, in her mother's garden, the moss had been thick as a carpet and soft to lie on. Growing things had been one of her father's powers, and she sighed, cursing that females couldn't use such abilities.

Or could they?

Sitting in the center of the circle of cobblestones that comprised the floor, she closed her eyes and concentrated, picturing what she wanted in her mind’s eye. A fierce heat began to build at the base of her spine, spiraling upward until it burst from her with startled shout.

She opened her eyes. The moss now covered the entire area. A scraping sound from the railing made her dash over and look down to where the rosebushes at the base of the tower twined with the revived ivy to pour over the sides, twining with the few pieces of metal furniture the last occupant had left, the roses bursting into brilliant bloom.

Nalini grinned from ear to ear; what else could she do?

By the time she was finished, the nearly barren tower had become a garden paradise, with a birdbath grown out of the stone with a baby elephant statue sitting in the center spewing water out of its trunk. She had created several more benches and flowerpots filled with bursting buds as well.

She bounced up and down slightly, excited. About to go down and show Satan what she had done, she felt suddenly tired, and sank to her knees on the carpet of green moss, promptly falling asleep under the gentle sun.

Awaking some time later, Nalini blinked in surprise at the unaccustomed brightness of her surroundings. Jumping to her feet, she skipped down the stairs to go get Satan.

Pulling him eagerly from the stairwell, Nalini indicates the newly formed garden. "See?"

"I see a garden, what's exciting about it, though."

"I made it," she informed him proudly.

"So you've gotten new powers?" he smiles at her, then runs his hands over her skin while looking at her creation. "I'm proud of you."

Nalini blushed and ducked her head. Then, smiling impishly, she led him over to the fountain and formed air under the surface.

"Look; bubbly."

"Yes you are." he laughs into her hair, running his hands along her sleek back.

Nalini surprised herself by moaning softly with the contact while next to them a rosebush responded by bursting out four blue buds.

She looked askance at that, "Is that color supposed to happen?" she asked doubtfully.

"Your emotions are controlling what you produce." he says continueing the back rub while lightly nibbling her ear. His hand then sneak to her stomach and he applies light pressure and a tiny bit of heat.

The fountain began to boil and the buds burst into blue roses twice as big as nature's.

He removes the heat, and halts the movement of his hands. "I think we should calm down. You're boiling things." He still nibbles her ear though.

"What's wrong with boiling things?" she inquired, gracing the fountain with a glance as the rest of the water evaporated. "Aww, the elephant looks lonely," she said, bringing the water back.

"Nothing's wrong with, heat. If you can control it." he says adding heat to his nibbles.

Nalini moaned again, pressing herself lightly against him as wildflowers burst out of the moss at their feet.

He stops nibbling and turns her so that she's looking at him. I get that you can do this controlled and I also understand that you can do this uncontrolled, so we need to find a way to make the uncontrolled less uncontrolled. We need to separate your powers and your emotions."

"Unless you can control yourself when angry or afraid, you may do damage to yourself." he says, his eyes serious but loving.

"But my original power is opposites; I can undo whatever I do," she pointed out, hoping that he wouldn't see the obvious flaw in that argument; she couldn't do a damn thing if she somehow ended up accidentaly killing herself.

Nalini leaned forward and lightly kissed him. "You're always so concerned about my safety."

"Just work with me. I'm not going to lose you again. Even if I have to degrade myself or just be plutonic with you - i'll do anything." He says more passionately. ((Just out of curiousity - what time are you and Lorelai on?))

"So lets start. I want you to empty your mind. Think of blank." he says lightly running a finger across her skin beneath her clothes ((think sensitive spots. I'm keeping the descripts PG the actions he plans on doing are anything but.))

Nalini closed her eyes, biting her lip and trying to concentate, but it was bloody HARD with him doing that!

"Is there anything specific you wish me try?" she asked, her voice wavering slightly.

"No just not do anything," his fingers skimming over her stomach then lower.

((Different thing, although mid sems are difficult but no, I'm talking about things like impact testing, hardness tests and the Rockwell test. (things that test the strength brittleness ect of materials.)))

Ohhhh, don't do anything at all? She could handle that. Tuning out her body was harder than it usually was, but after awhile Nalini slipped into meditative trance.

And then he steps it up another notch, slipping off her clothing and running his hands more feverantly over her body.

And then his mouth fastens on her, mindless pleasure running through him as HE causes everything to erupt in fire. ((What about her reactions in the garden?))

Nalini's trance broke like a bubble as she pulled him to her. "Satan!" she gasped, seeing the flames. "It's...too hot..."

His eyes glaze over and the fire rages as a buble of normal air surrounds them and he takes whaat is tormenting him. ((Fade out.))

Nalini lay next to him, still gasping for breath. Around them, the very stone of the tower had melted slightly.

"I can't exactly blame you for doing so in this instance," she gasped, chest heaving. "Don't worry about the garden though," she said, not that she really thought he was worrying about it. With an almost absentminded flick of her hand, what the flames had done was undone, except for the swirling patterns of melted rock; she kind of liked those.

"It's easy to start, but it can take awhile to get to the point where you're not aware of your body at all. Concentrate on the lotus shockrah at the top of your skull and try to clear your mind. I don't mean don't think, just let what comes into your mind come and go again, like..." she searched for an analogy. "Like watching a school of fish just below the surface. You may notice an individual fish--or thought in our case--briefly, but as soon as it joins back in with the school its gone back into the stream of conciousness."

She looked up into his eyes, frowning slightly, "Did that make sense?"
