Pop Star - Synopsis

Mimi is a typical rock chick who owns a bar and sings her own jrock songs. She meets Yuki, a Japanese on holiday. They were together for one month when he dissappeared suddenly.Mimi goes to Tokyo to find him, only to realise that he's a jpop star.

Chapter two preview

Maybe I really am going out of my mind. Now it sounded like Yuki was chanting some weird sounds and it sounded as if he was next to me. But the only thing next to me was a wall with a huge banner of some manufactured boyband.

Crap. I turned towards the poster. It was too big for me to see the faces on it. I took some steps back and looked up. It was some band called Fire Fighters. There were about five members, dressed all in white suits and each one held a red rose. Their latest single called, “Love Love Night,” was blasting from some speaker on the poster. There was no mistaking it. Yuki was the one in the middle. I stared open-mouthedly at the image of Yuki. I didn 't even realise that I was now standing in the middle of the road.

Honestly the reason why I wrote this was the conflict I had between rock and pop. I was a rock chick but pop music slowly became to become a part of my life...if that makes any sense...^^;;;
