"What's his name?" the first man asked as man in grey started yelling at the tall figure who had stopped in the middle of the street in front of him. The fishermam turned away from his booth to look at a lean fellow at a good foot and a half taller than his 4'9" and a surf board that rose above his head. He wore a wetsuit that was tank top style and reached down to his knees. What startled the fisherman a little was the young man's blue-green skin and black.
"That way," the fisherman pointed towards the center of the city.
"Thanks dude. How much for a fish?" Mel asked.
"Five money," the fisherman replied.
"Here you are and thanks again fisherman dude," Mel said as he walked away while eating his fish raw with shark like teeth and webbed hands.

Character Name : Glidas11/11/2007 #5
Character Element : Holy (if I'm about too choose one), or Non-Elemental (since he does not really rely on magic)
General Description :
Blonde-hair 17 years old teenager. Hazel eyes, he possesses. Glidas let loose his shoulder-length hair and partially obscures his right eye. The most distinguish factor on him is the steel-made gauntlet he wears on his right hand, fingers until his forearm. His height is more and less the same as the typical teenagers, six feet. He does not wear cloak, only some normal attires; blue shirt with a black pant.
Some background information (why are they joining this tournament for example):
In order to seek his true self; his aim is neither for the first place nor winning. Anyway, he suffers amnesia and lost all his childhood memories. His adopt-father taught him how to handle close-quarter-combat, but died from an assault. He mourned over his death, and was almost controlled by his feeling for vengeance.
Preferred Weapon : Sword (Excalibur, I know it sounds lame...); Alternative - Gauntlet on his right hand to block attack & engage opponent in close-quarter-combat.
Signature move :
Sword Enchantment. Glidas stroke his fingers (thumb and index) through the steel of his sword, clipped on both the top and bottom. The sword would be covered in faint, soft white aura in whole before he mumbled the incantation for the enchanting (name of sword he wanted to possess). The aura dispersed, and (i.e. Glidas whispered - Wind Call, Rapier) the thick steel (of his default moderate broadsword) will be replaced with a thin one, the size of a rapier should be. The sword became one-edged, and he can comfortably grab his sword and swung them as he pleased without the burdening weight. With the new sword he could utilise some swift attacks which can't be performed using other types of weapon - such as a common Crescent Slash attack (for rapier/falchion) which emits a huge blue new moon upon contact with the target.
I guess that's enough explaination for the moves. It'll get too long-winded if I'm about to extend it furthermore.
Any further information you would like to add:
A barrier spell, which could repel some attacks. In order to increase its effectiveness, Glidas could adds regents such as soils (earth) to absorb a portion of thunder attack.
He's half a calm fighter, but he is not perfect. There's a tendency of him losing his will, and the symptom is his eyes starts to glow in crimson red. I'd call that going berserk for him.
Name: Sansra, pronounced san-sura (with the “sur” and the “a” run together to make it sound like one syllable), meaning without (sans) sun (ra).
Character Element: Shadowmancer. Basically, she controls darkness, and can manipulate it at will. So, naturally, her power is at its zenith at night. She also has some ability to conjure darkness, but it is limited.
The drunken man leered. "Come here little girlie, I won't hurt you."
Serena cowered against the wall of the darkened alleyway, shrinking away from the figure in front of her. Why, oh why, didn't I take that last turn, she thought, pale-blue eyes wide with fear. Why, oh why did I choose this night to come down here?
The man advanced, pressing his hands into to brick wall on either side of her. He licked his lips. "What luck that I chose to come here tonight!" Serena whimpered as a grubby hand brushed her face. She was frozen; she couldn't do anything as he came closer, and closer. She closed her eyes...
And felt something whoosh by her, quickly followed by a muffled oomph.
The man, who happened to be the utterer of said oomph, staggered up from where he had been thrown. Standing in front of him was a girl, a teenage girl at that! He narrowed his eyes. She merely smirked at him, barely-concealed rage evident in her tensed muscles. In his intoxicated state, the man, quick to anger and slow to give up, launched himself at the black-haired girl, screaming, "You little bitch!"
A resounding crack as the man's head hit the wall silenced his outburst. He looked up an saw the figure looming above him, face contorted in a blood-thirsty grin. It took a while for his thoughts to permeate the pain that was clouding his mind. As he drifted into a comatose state, he noticed her fangs. And her wings. Black as coal, dragon-like, spreading into the sky behind her. What was she? He tried to lift his head and failed. The last thing he noticed before the darkness closed in was her eyes: pitch black, bottomless, with no irises or emotion.
Serena lifted her head and swallowed hard, still unable to believe that she was going to escape unscathed. A shaft of moonlight penetrated through the clouds, illuminating the stranger's back, upon which was a tattoo of a dragon. Serena traced the design with her eyes: from the left paw, which was positioned on the left shoulder, to the head on the neck, to the other paw on the other shoulder, down to the legs on the small of the girl's back and the tail, which appeared to wrap around the torso. She then followed the design of the beast up the the place where its wings should be, and gaped as she realized that there were real dragon wings sprouting from her savior's shoulder-blades. She didn't realize she had been staring until the person turned, straight black hair swishing around her face, and looked back at Serena. Serena gulped, and looked down, wondering what this person wanted with her. She heard footsteps pacing towards her, and then a musical voice permiated her confusion.
"You seemed to be in a little bit of trouble back there; that's a fate no one deserves." Serena looked up to find herself staring right into the face of the other girl.
"Who.. who are you?" she questioned fearfully. The other girl laughed.
"My name's Sansra. I have a proposition for you..."
Some background information (why are they joining this tournament): A combination of boredom, the need to sate anger-induced bloodlust without actually killing anyone, and the opportunity to forget her past while in battle. Currently living on the streets and is the co-leader of the biggest and most successful gang in the city.
Preferred Weapon: Daggers
Signature move: Annihilationscape. The complete deadening of all of the senses, giving the opponent the illusion that they are suffocating in a world of darkness. It's not actually physical, more mental, so it can't be burned/blown away.
Name: Auritasa (Au-ri-ta-sa)
Character Element: Timekeeper. She can slow down, freeze, speed up time, or rewind it to some degree (see general description).
General Description/Bio/Some background information/Favorite Weapon:
“Ah, you humor me too much, always coming back for more stories,” the ancient man laughed as he addressed the crowd of eager children around him. “Let’s see, have you heard the tale of Auritasa? No? Well then, you know of the Three Fates, right? One to spin the strings of lives, one to weave the story, and one to cut the threads at the end? Well, one of the Fates had a child, a girl: the Timekeeper. And around the girl’s neck was a silver hourglass with sand that looked like tiny pearls; ever flowing, but neither end of the hourglass ever losing or gaining any more sand. For the end of the stream of sand would mean the end of time itself.
“As the child grew, she found that she had found a higher plane of reality that no others could access: the river of time. And time is a river: dam up one part, and it will swirl around and reverse itself; block one part, and the rest goes faster; even time can be stopped for a while, but in the end, the barrier breaks and the floodwater will consume anything in its path. The first occasion that the child had tampered the river, she had accidentally fallen in, creating ripples and eddies that had caused major confusion to the mortals on the world below. It had also had the effect of alerting the other immortals to her presence in their realm, with a dangerous result. For the god of Chaos, whose name this superstitious mortal will not dare to speak, had seen the disturbance as well, and decided to keep a close eye on her to see if she would be helpful in his ultimate goal of compete disorder.
“The Three Fates knew the danger that the girl was in, and encouraged her to hone her abilities and powers. For, though the girl herself was immortal, and so there was no blade strong enough to cut the strand of her life, so too was the God of Chaos immortal, and as the Middle Fate knew, just as a story writes itself or a painting creates itself, the tapestry of life can weave itself and refuse her influence.
“And so the young girl grew into her teenage years, and as she did, her powers became more pronounced and showed on her figure. Her hair grew long, with the top the deep indigo color of the sky right before sunset, fading down to the bottom which had been bleached completely white by the river of time. Her face mirrored a childhood innocence even as a young adult, but her eyes, her eyes were the rich amber of the stars and betrayed wisdom far beyond her years. And as she ran around barefoot and waded in the river of time, always the pearlescent grains in the hourglass flowed.
“But the God of Chaos had been watching, gathering information, and he desired the power that the hourglass held. The ability to take the hourglass and turn the sand into a raging flood would mean the reign of absolute chaos; the fulfillment of his goals. The Three Fates, reading his actions in the tapestry and knowing that the girl was too weak to protect herself from such a creature decided on a radical course of action. They gave the girl a bow, made from the same wood as The Huntress’s own; arrows, flighted with the feathers of the swans who pulled The Moon’s chariot and tipped with the iron forged by the heat of The Sun; and a name: Auritasa. And so the girl was sent down amongst the mortals of the world that she had long observed from afar to hone her skills and learn how to hold her own in any type of fight…”

TO EVERYONE: HI! :) !!!!!!!! It's Lis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway, sorry for the loooong post, but here is my charachter. As Soul wanted it she is well thought out, and please whatever you do: DO NOT take any part of this post and use it in any of your fictions, except of course the Arean Fiction, because this is actually a NOVEL idea I'm working on, and this topic is really helping me with my abilities to form this idea, kind of a brainstorm sheet, if you will. So Kyria is mine. Here she is:
NAME: Kyria Synthonia Belladona Rain (Ki-ree-uh, Sin-thown-uh, Belluh-done-uh, rain)
AGE: 19 (In human years)
WEAPONS: She uses skills from the five styles of martial arts and skills she picked up from the three street gangs, The Rifters, The Refers, and the Docksides. The skills include street fighting. She can used guns and knives but prefers to use fists and elements.
The door opens a gust of wind blowing in to the room at full gale force. A tall figure, about 6’2’’ enters the tails and sides of a trench coat billowing behind her. Heeled combat The coat and black fedora are quickly stowed on an empty hook.
Hair dyed deep blue and frosted with dark red falls in waves past her shoulders and is tied in a long intricate braid. The energy crackling from it is visible and the static causes any electronic devices to go haywire. She wears a black corset top over a crimson and white, long-sleeved wrap. Her skin is slightly paler than what is considered normal. Freckles stand out on her face and her emerald green eyes turn to a shade of black as she sits down at the bar.
Head turn in her direction as the bar/restaurant’s patrons sense a deep need for revenge and a power so strong that it’s been used through the bindings. As all eyes turn to her she slides off her wrist guards to reveal a long glove tied with vermillion ribbon on each hand. Long fingers with dark nails are visible as she taps her fingers impatiently on the counter top. The leather of her short skirt rustles and she crosses her legs which are clad in fishnets that sparkle with little twinges of electricity. Her heeled combat boots, which give her an extra three inches when she stands, tap out a strange beat on the rung of the stools the buckles adding an ominous clink of percussion.
As a bartender approaches her she opens her mouth to reveal rows of pearly white teeth the canines of which are slightly sharper and pointed more sharply than an average humans.
“How may I help you?” he asks in a monotone.
“I’m looking for the owner of the arena,” she answers matter-of-factly. “I’d like a cherry/lime daiquiri,” she says quickly.
“How old are you? I’d like to see some ID please,” the bartender says. Before she replies there is a subtle twitch in her face and the peircings on her pointed ears turn a burning red.
She stands up her eyes turning a bright red as she hisses, “I’d like a cherry/lime daiquiri while I wait for someone to contact the arena owner.”
BACKGROUND: At the age of 13 she moved to the U.S. from London. She has the ability to speak any language she’s around but mostly she used the British dialects and verying accents of Europe. Her life has been torn apart by the Refers, who have murdered her mother, sister, and father. She’s lost almost every person she loves protecting her father’s secret theory, which has resulted in her blaming herself and finding evidence to blame herself that she’s killed anyone who the Refers have killed just by coming into contact with her, and she’s come up with the self-diagnosed phrase, “I don’t help people I hurt them.”
She was the daughter of an experiment gone good by the Refers and her powers and energy force were bound at birth. Throughout her adolescence she’s learned to use her powers around the bindings and she has a strong grip on her powers and her skills in the martial arts have taught her how to channel and control her power from the core of her being. She is one with her powers; her fire and electricity powers flow through her veins and usually are kept at a bellow freezing temperature, as she usually only needs to use her street fighting and martial arts to defeat her enemy. She tells people very little about herself to keep her profile low as possible.
She left the man (read vampire) she loved to keep him from being killed. Since so many people she cared about died she doesn’t get wrapped up in personalities, but she doesn’t necessarily kill everyone she come into contact with. Since she is an experiment that is part vampire/ part shape shifter/ part muse (75%, 20%, 5%,) she is technically the undead and cannot be killed.
She has joined the arena fights in order to get a tighter control over her powers and to learn to use them in coordination with one another as well as when to use them. She’s joined for the money and to learn how to defeat different elements and skill levels by mentally outsmarting and manipulating her energy core.
IMPLOSION CACOON : Uses fire to first encase herself in an unbreakable shield. Then she manipulates her fire skills, which includes the manipulation of black fire, to make an inferno so hot that no one can survive it. She infuses it with heat building the effect until the body begins to pop from the inside out, the power soaking through the opponent’s skin until the popping beings first in the blood vessels, then the veins, organs, and lung canal.
VARIATION: BLUE CACOON: First she begins by using a small flame (think bunsen burner size) to form a suite around her body neutralizing the energy . She then makes an inferno that soaks through the opponent’s skin and wraps around his/her DNA forcing it to reconfigure and reshape the opponent to look completely different. This forces shifting causes the opponent to loose much of his/her energy field from within the body.
NOTE: Both techniques are used only to the point of near death and are lifted once the opponent is weak enough to use the most basic martial arts skills to harm them to the point of fainting.
EXTRA INFORMATION: she doesn’t lose her temper and has such a tight control over her powers that she can use them to either heat or cool her body. Her calmness with her powers is what unnerves her opponents the most and she has the power of ESP and the ability to slightly read minds and know more about your past than you’d want her to. She usually keeps her fire and electricity powers at below freezing temperatures in her body, since her energy flows through her veins. She has other techniques that she uses during battle but the above one is her signature move that is usually accompanied by another technique.
Name: Lady Lyssandriana Arrys (Lis-sund-dre-ana) (Air-es)
Age: ~ 19 Human Years

Brazil runs through any obstacles the opponent may have put up gathering power into his fur. Then while he run a figure eight the Lady Arrys uses her manipulation of air to make lightening, which she can use to knock the oppoenent unconcious.
At half-power the attack just injures the oppent but at bull strength the Cyclone of Monsoon Wolf Wind kills.
The battles of the day are over and done with. Those oppents who were at a draw prepare for sleep and the resuming of their battles on the morrow. Those who lost are being patched up and put in the Bulding of Healing. The winners prepare their weapons and themselves for their next battles for the following day. As those fresh from battles sup in the battle arena caffeteria a voice comes from the shadows, "Can I get some raw meat please?"
Those on dinner shift look up and a girl about 5'11" steps from the shadows. Her cloak is the silver-blue of the moon and the underside is scarlet. She lowers her hood to reveal garnet eyes with silver pupils and long red and sivler hair plaites into two braids. She glances at the dinner attendants.
"Why do you need raw meat?" one asks.
She doesn't answer but instead calls, "Gost, Brazil." Answering her call are two large wolves. Standing on all fours they reach the shoulders of a full-grown man. The one on her left is black with emerald green eyes and the one on her right is white with red eyes, and albino. Bother wolves stand eagerly by her side licking their chops at the smell of meat. Without question they both receive large raw slabs of deer and the girl hangs up her cloak revealing beneath it the hilts of four sais.
Without complaint she eats the foot set before her and after paying for her meal leaves the buliding with her wolves trailing behind. Outside she walks to the battle arenas and begins looking for the registration table.2/03/2008 . Edited by Soul Decay, 8/04/2009 #11

"Well look who we have here." A person piped up. "Looks like another one eh, well just go back were you came from, you don't belong here" The person said.
Ventrix stopped, but kept her gaze forward.
"Well, are you going to go, you know you can't win." The person stood up.
Ventrix drew her sword and in an instant was by the behind the person. He stood there shocked. His arm was cut off and ice formed the were the cut was made. He screamed and was frozen right were he stood. Ventrix snapped her fingers and the now frozen person cracked and shattered. Everyone's eyes were wide in fear and they remained silent. She turned and saw the person sitting across the now-dead person.
"Here's a souvenir." She said and threw the other guys arm that was cut off arm at the person, he shrieked and fell backward, but quickly got up and ran away screaming.
Some backround information: She fights for honor and to fill to loss of her family from once she was 3.
Preferred Weapon, if any: Two swords; a black one she calls Tensa Zangetsu and a white one she calls Soukatsu.
Signature move: Dancing Ice: Ice Storm, allows her to summon an Ice dragon that freezes anything completely forms spike that pierce through the frozen person everywhere, instantly killing them if they are not already dead.
Any other information: Usually calm, but can lose her temper, but respectful other wise.
Appearance: He walked into the bar, and everyone stared. He had blond spiky hair, and ice blue eyes. He wore all black. except a red cloak that was torn at the bottom, he wore black boots, along with black pants, long sleeve shirt and black gloves. He was about 6' 3" The bartender stared.
"What do you want?" He asked in a rude manner.
Roxas remained silent, and stared. Everyone remained quiet, until a man stood up. "Well?" He asked agitated.
Roxas disappeared and reappeared behind him. A sword had pierced the man's chest and blood covered the black blade of Roxas's sword. Roxas pulled back his sword and sheathed it. "I have my reasons." He said and dared anyone else to say something. No one did.
Prefered Weapon: Black bladed sword.
Backround: He had a tough life, and his dad never talked to him. His whole family, except his sister, was murdered. He fights to fill the loss and to seek vengeance on the killers.
Signature Move: Dance of Fire: 1,000 Embers; turns the whole arena to fire, and puts up a fire wall all aound the edges, making it easier for countless attacks from every direction, increases his speed and movement, and attack.
Other: His sister; Ventrix is his only family left. He family, besides them were killed once he was 4 and once Ventrix was 3. He is quiet, and rarely ever shows emotion. His eyes turn red sometimes, like his sisters will sometimes.6/01/2008 . Edited 6/13/2008 #12
Here we go...
Character Name: Reine Evander (Rain Eh-VAN-der) (RETIRED)
Character Element: Lightning
General Description: When the boy walked into the town, no one noticed. His black cloak covered his distinctive white-fading-to-black hair, cut short, but not too short. (It's long enough to fall in his eyes). He isn't that tall, only about 5 feet. Wrap-around sunglasses cover his ruby red eyes, mirrored so that no one can tell what his soul is like. (You know that old saying, "The eyes are windows into the soul"?) His skin reflects the moonlight, making him seem more pale than he really is. The boy bumped into an old drunk right beside the tavern. The old man teetered for a moment, then began to fall. Before he hit the ground however, the boy had caught him, saying in a smooth voice, "I am so sorry, sir. Are you alright?" The drunk looked at him hard before stumbling back into the tavern to get another beer. There was a ruckus inside, and the boy being who he was, he went inside to try and sort it out. Before he got to far, a burly man with huge muscles stepped in his way. "I'm going to need to know who you are and how old you are before I can let you in." The boy sighed. "My name is Reine Evander, and unfortunately, I am only 14." That was all he could get out before he was thrown bodily out of the tavern. He sighed once again, before walking away. "You try to help someone..."
Background info: When he was ten, his mother began to abuse him, so he walked out on her. He has been travelling ever since, sleeping where and when he can. He wants to join the arena because of the free food and board, and to prove himself to his father, the king of where he came from. (That's from an upcoming story of mine)
Preferred weapon: He really likes using a quarterstaff. And he's pretty good at using it, too.
Signature Move: He doesn't really use this, because it uses too much power. Last Strike is what he calls it. He slams his staff into the ground, and random lightning strikes target his opponent. The downside is that when he uses it, he can barely stand up afterwards, so it's kinda a kamikaze move for him.
Any other information: He's pretty good at fighting hand-to-hand, but likes fighting with his staff or his powers most of the time. He doesn't really lose his temper unless you say something about his mother. Then, he goes berserk, so you'd better watch out. He feels awkward fighting in front of people, (for show, basically) but will do so if he absolutely has to. Reine doesn't like cracks about how old or how short he is. Reine also wants to let you all know, that he is comfortable with anyone challenging him.
Yeah, so there he is. Just so you know, school ends this Friday, so Saturday would be the best for a first fight. Also, we do this over email, right? Don't contact me after 3 any day this week, 'cause I have rehearsals for 8th grade graduation, and will not get to checking my email at all.
Character Name: Cael Brythli (CAY-el BRI-th-lee)
Character Element: Fire
Age: 16 1/2
Cael slipped into the bar, hiding his silvery white hair under a black hoodie. His baggy cargo pants make little swishing sounds as he sits down at an unoccupied table and glances around at the competition with cobalt blue eyes. He doesn't talk much, but everyone can tell that he will fight if he had to.
Background Info: As a child of the Captain of the Royal Guard, Cael was taught how to fight at a young age. That didn't help, however, when assassins tried to murder him at the age of 6, when his mother was killed as well. His father then made Cael cover his hair, convinced that if they couldn't recognize him, they wouldn't attack him. His powers were sealed within him then as well, but his father lets him use some of it. Cael's training doubled in intensity when he turned thirteen and he was accepted into the Guard at the age of 15. He is joining the arena because he needs to prove himself to the group of older men he works with.
Preferred Weapon: Either his bow and arrows or his powers.
Signature Move: He doesn't have a name for it. Cael absorbs any attack sent at him with a shield of fire and uses that energy to release the power sealed in him by his father. Wings of fire sprout from his back and he releases a massive wave of energy and fire that is sure to finish off a battle.
Weakness: Earth, wind, or lightning attacks.
Any Other Information: Cael is rather indifferent and tends to focus more on fighting and less on talking during a battle.6/08/2008 . Edited 6/14/2009 #13
|the Karaoke Sword
ok, i guess i'll give this a shot. looks like fun. so here we go...
Character name: Rokaharu (row-kuh-hah-roo); call him Roka, for short.
Age: ?? (20-22)
General description: even in a place like Arena Town, Rokaharu stood out. for one thing, he stood head and shoulders among most people. only a few of the arena challengers could look him in the eye without standing on a block of wood. and if they could stare him in the eye... they probably would have become even more confused about this odd man. his eyes... that was perhaps the most striking thing about him. they were blue as glacial ice, marked by a dark, diamond-shaped birthmark in the right one. little curls of his blonde hair poked out from under the clay crest that covered his head from just above the eyebrows to the center of the scalp. a headdress of white wolves' fur (dyed red at the tips) hung jaggedly from teh back of his head, marking him as a monk... of some sort.
as he entered the arena lobby for registration, Rokaharu removed his black poncho, revealing the brilliant white-trimmed red tunic he wore beneath it. several strings of rosaries hung around his wrists, further catigorizing him as a holy man. but from where?
the other champions of the area stared on as he calmly registered his hame.
"Who are you?" one of the champions called from the circle of seats by the fire where his kind sat.
"Actually," Rokaharu said slowly, "I was hoping one of you could tell me.
"Have you see me before?" he asked, removing his headress and showing the unkept blonde bramble below. "I would have been much smaller. i have changed much, but... none of you? i will just have to wait and see then."
and with that, Rokaharu smiled sadly and waved a farewell before leaving to find lodgings until his first fight. the truth would come in time... he was sure of it.
Background information: Rokaharu was found as a young teenager in the ruins of a village on the sand. he was helpless, all of his memories of the life he'd had before were missing... Shira, the great god wolf, adopted him as her own child. she taught him many things over the nine years he spent with her. she tought him magic and sword play, literature and prayer. he became a warrior, a priest, a defender. Rokaharu became the keeper of the great wind temple, Kyocaroshi... until his mother, the god wolf, was killed, mistaken for a lesser beast. seeking revenge and the truth of life before he met Shira, Rokaharu went to Arena Town to enter in the legendary tournament, hoping that in the vast crouds and great archives, he could find out what ended his first life.
prefered weapon: Rokaharu uses two swords: a metal longsword (nicknamed Silvertongue) and a magic blade made of light (the relic of the wind temple, known as Rosan; while it is not strong enough to physically cut flesh, it can burn on contact, block and bind spells, and absorb electrical energy); Roka sometimes uses a few other magical weapons: an ensorcelled throwing knife, a magic lute, and a large paper fan.
Signature move: Resurection. Roka sacrifices a large amount of his own energy (often in the form of blood) to temporarily summon his mother, Shira the wolf, back to life. Shira is approximately fifteen feet high at the shoulder and fights with even more power ferocity than her adopted child. Roka doesn't use this attack very often though, because it requires blood sacrifice.
any other information: although he is a monk, Roka was also raised as a warrior. his sword play is unmatched in his homeland, where he has competed in several similar tournaments. he is always verey reserved, holding his tongue when he wishes to make a harsh remark, solving arguements between other compettitors, and helping those in need. he is also, however, driven by revenge, and despite his reserve, he never hesitates when his action is critical... he will stop at little to avenge his mother.
also, he jokes and chats jovially with his opponenets when he fights
name: Lilith Drake
description: when the tavern door swung open, most of the people turned to look and see who had entered. it was just something they did. a lot of interesting characters came through that tavern, and you always wanted to see who would enter next. you never knew... some joe who walked through one day might be a champion the next.
but to everyone's surprise... there was no one at the door. the bartender looked around in confusion. was it some sort of trick? no, there she was. the woman (or girl, rather) who had entered the bar, was barely five feet tall, not the big, hulking hero type he had been expecting. no, coming through the door was... a schoolgirl. she wore a white button down shirt and blue skirt, and dark blazer. there was even a school-issue rucksack hanging from her tiny shoulder... straight, evenly cropped hair litterally framed the girl's face. she couldn't have been more than twelve or thirteen... what was she doing in a bar of champions?
"Young lady," the bartender began. "Aren't you a bit young to be hanging out in bars? why don't you scurry on home before the grown-ups show up."
a few of the bulky men at the back chuckled, but the girl remained completely stoic, staring straight at the bartender. suddenly, she smiled. it wasn't the cold, threating snear that the bartender had gotten from many other customers... it was a genuine, warm smile. whatever message she was trying to get across, the man was sure she would be sincere in delivering it.
"Don't worry about me," she said in her tiny child's voice. "i just want some water. oh, and directions to a good, safe inn. i've got things to do tomorrow. big things."
"Like what?" the bartender asked, unable to contain his curiousity at this strange child.
"Oh, an arena match. you know how those things are."
Background info: Lilith left home to compete in the tournament because her hometown is cursed with eternal rain. and while this perpetual storm has granted her people great mastery over water magic, she has been sent as the most skilled of her kind (rain-mages) to win enough prize money to buy a blessing for her town. only the blessing of a powerful light mage could dispell the clouds, and those don't come cheap...
Weapons: Lilith fights, most commonly, with her water magic. she's not very strong, so she never restorts to total hand-to-hand, but she also weilds an umbrella. this umbrella is indestructable; Lilith opens it to use it's top as a shield, and weilds it like a bladeless sword when it is closed.
signature move: Lilith actually has three "super secret special techniques", all of which she developed herself back in her village. the first is called the Waterball Binder -she jabs her umbrella into her foe's chest and creates a ball of water that traps the foe. the second is called the Umbrella Surprise -Lilith opens her umbrella, stands it on its top (so that teh fabric forms a concave bowl-shape) and summons a huge water spout out of it, which follows and slams into her opponents. her final technique is the Froggy surprise -Lilith uses a spellbook from home to summon a giant carniverous frog with an extreemly prehensile tongue which it uses to gobble up her foes.
other info: uh... she only eleven. i think that's kind of cool. let's see... the thing about Lilith is that she doesn't really like to fight. she's kind and compassionate, but also has a hard time saying no. that's how she wound up fighting in the tournament: the village elders could have sent someone older who would have been more respected by the arena community, but they had asked her first, and Lilith felt as though she had to say yes for the good of her people.6/12/2008 . Weapon: Iron 2h Pole
Appearance: Dark cloak high risen, with a Black bandanna obscuring most of his face. Wears the pole sling style across his back, though it is easy to pull out. Has steel hand gauntlets and knee guards. Also wears steel chain mail under his cloak. Green Eyes and Black Hair.
Dark Flowe: Transforms himself into a shadow which can tele in between other shadows up to 100 meters away.
Abyssal Energy: Dark energy flows around him freely, boosting his stats and giving barrier damage. Can also be controlled somewhat in the upper levels of this stage. He can then use the darkness as long range energy beams or short range swords in his infamous Seven Swords attack.
Sun Eater: Uses dark and arcane powers to pull the moon in front of the sun for 5 min. Drains much of his energy, leaving him open for about 10 seconds before he regains his strength with a new power boost.
Black Sun 1000 Swords: The Ultimate attack. He uses the dark power from the sunless sky to form a large orb of darkness. With a swish of his hand, the excess darkness fades away, leaving him with 1000 dark swords to fling at an enemy. Unfortunately, they can only be maintained for 20 seconds, and then he can't use his powers for another hour.
Background info: He's the last of the Darkesiders of the World Elementianica. He was lost to the void after the eight main elements were split asunder by the traitor. He searches to find his way back, but will take some time in he upcoming tourney first.
New CHARA w00t!!!
Age: Immortal, so it doesn't really matter. Looks fifteen.
Element: Weather Induced Elements
Sexuality: I can't remember which one means which, but he likes girls only, so I guess that'll have to do for an explanation.
Soul: That would be Hetrosexual ^^
Weapon: Stormbringer- Large, two handed sword. When he goes into Beserk Mode, it becomes Larger and more powerful. This form is called Stormender.
Abilities: Weather Control- Using this he can control all matters of weather to the finest most miniscule degree, allowing him to create Blizzards, Hail, Rain, Pin-point accurate lightning bolts, and his most favorite is the wind. He can create up to 80 mph winds at a time without even trying, though to go over 100 and he begins to strain.
Background: A Child of the Gods, his task was to watch over the Earth's weather for all time. That is, until he got amnesia and now believes himself to be a normal fifteen year old entering the arena. Well, as normal as a weather controlling immortal can be.
Note: Immortal means he cannot die naturally or by disease, though poison sure as heck floors him for a few days. Only weapons made of Earth and weilded by human hands may kill him.
Looks/attitude: Sky blue eyes, and wavy blond hair. He is 5'11", and is always easy and outgoing. Has a streak of sarcasm however, and his sense of humor is not easily gotten. He means well enough, and trusts easily. He wears baggy dark blue jeans with sandals and a white shirt with a Brilliant Robin egg blue hoodie, with a white hood and white cloud insignia on the back. On the white shirt over his heart is a lightning bolt insignia. He also has sunglasses, and his bangs would come down in front of his eyes except he curves them with a comb, and uses the Glasses to make sure they stay there. Even when it's not sunny lol.
Winds of Fury (always active)- control over winds
Storm Control- control over weather and weather induced elements
Storm Mode- Goes berserk, increasing his power level tenfold, though he has no idea who or what he is attacking, or even if he is attacking a person, as his rage is all blinding.
Static- Hits himself with lightning bolt and uses his wind sheild to create a shield which now does electrical damage on contact.
Wind shield- Encases himself in a small ball of roiling winds, making arrows and other light weapons useless. Those who aren't very strong in the arms may find their blows deflected as well.
Weakness- A long range fighter, and while he does have a long, heavy sword, he uses it more to channel his energies, not to actually fight. He can't move it fast enough to block. Physical attacks by a strong fighter at close range works wonders, at least until he gets his wits about him to blow you away with a strong gust, though the rebounding winds normally throw him for a loop as well.6/25/2008 . Element: Water or anything made out or caused my water, steam ice etc...
Power Level: ???
Race: Dragon/ Human/ Immortal
Weapon: Nothing, they actually all special moves.
Appearance: ( Dragon): http://trelliadragon.deviantart.com/art/Sapphire-Final-63854703
( Human):http://ruiawayuki.deviantart.com/art/Anime-Gurl-82488714 Except with dark blue hair, long black socks and white sneakers, oh and finish the bottom half the same design as the top.
Aqua Orb: Little orbs of energy charged water. It is powerful but is not guranteed to hit.
Ice Wall: It's a wall of ice. It blocks any stats changing or just offense attack. It will smash and hurt the foe but it will not melt.
Aqua Wave: A giant wave of charged water, it takes up alot of energy but it's a guranteed, KO hit.
Hydro Pump ( YEah, Am a Pokemon freak. XD): A giant stream of charged water, takes on an amount of energy, depends on how long you hold it up.
Moisture Heal: Gathring the moisture from whatever she can get, she is able to heal herself and re-energize, depending the amount of moisture gathered.
Background info: Hatched and grown alone. Nothing special, the ordinary dragon life.8/21/2008 #16
Name: Niklass (sounds like it looks)
Element: a limited control of fire (he can't use it over long distances, and his skills in manipulating it are rudimentary)
Age: around 30 (time spent in hiding makes him unsure)
Physique: average build, perhaps a little on the tall side (about six foot), surefooted
Psyche: motivated to fight for his people by constantly having his village raided by bandits when young, Nik aims to serve in the Guard and fight bandits, though he is rather naive, believing that everything is black and white; thieves are evil, the Guard are good, etc. He is shocked by the intrigue and politics he finds as he begins his travels.
Weapon: what is called a "feather" longsword by its general resemblance to a feather or leaf; a long, slim, two-handed sword with a strait edge that starts relatively thin near the bottom and curves out fairly quickly, then tapers down and ends at a triangular point. Made of high-endurance steel commonly referred to as "Draconic steel".
Armor: Dragon scales on the torso and thighs, also on gauntlets; leather boots
Background: as mentioned, grew up in what is referred to as a "bandit farm", a village that is attacked by northern raiders with a fair degree of frequency. Such villages are ruled by lords that are nothing more than puppets for the bandits, so leaving the township is rare. Every now and then, such towns are liberated by an independant army known as the Guard, who fight only bandits and take no feudal lord's side.
Nik eventually came of age and fled south to a city called Comlen, where he became a blacksmith like his father before him. There he dwelt for several years before leaving once again to join the Mercenaries, who were centered in a southwestern port town. He learns swordsmanship over the course of two years, then is recruited to the Draconics.
Overcomes the Draconic's test, called the Ordeal, and thusly gains his ability to manipulate fire. (there's a lot more to the story, but I haven't actually written out very much of it.)4/30/2009 #17
This looks like fun!! Okay can I join??
Race: Half-nymph, half-human
Age: 2 in nymph years, 17 in human years
Hair: Dark blue
Physique: Slender, with the impression she couldn't do much in a fist fight, but she's really strong. Average height, and her skin has a greenish hue in it.
Psyche: She lost her mother at a very young age, when humans invaded their home. She's looking for her father who disappeared after her birth and is fascinated by the human world where she was cloistered away from it from her Nymph mother.
Weapons: She uses a small flute to command forth water, but otherwise, she's very skilled with the use of her twin daggers, made of an old water dragon's bones. Both are engraved with runes indicating powerful magic making her weapons impossible to break and impossible to be used aside from herself.
Background: She discovered her control of water at a young age, and has done so ever since then. Anything connected with her element she could control, but she rarely shows the extent of her true powers, with fear of outside manipilation. When her mother died and the other elders of the sea village demanded she marry, Alona left in search of her father, and to see if she belonged in the word of humans. Her travels allowed her to encounter more than her fair share of problems, from bandits, to men intending to take advantage of her, to people shying away from her because of her mixed heritage.
When she finds her father, she intends to make him pay for leaving them and extracting the revenge she had sought so long ago. She doesn't realize she's been lonely and craving for a family and love, blinded by her revenge.
Signature Move: She uses her flute to call forth enough water to wrap her opponent, then she freezes the water, encasing herself and the opponent in ice. Then she strikes with her daggers, melting only the necessary water for her to move and strikes her frozen opponent. All this is done in a matter of seconds.5/21/2009 . Edited 5/21/2009 #18
Name: Pandaros Viatos, the Black Cloud (Pan-dare-ose Vee-ah-tose
Physical Description: Pandaros is a lean young man in his early twenties, possessed of lightly bronzed skin and a shockingly white smile. He's about 5'6", but built like a tiger, all whipcord muscle and lithe athleticism. His storm-dark hair brightens into electric yellow at the tips, and his eyes are a deep violet-black that seem to roil and spark with gilded lightning. He always seems to be bouncing on the heels of his feet, almost dancing restlessly, and when he moves it's with sudden, powerful bursts. He wears a pair of loose black trousers belted with gold silk, and leaves his chest bare, exposing the triple yinyang sigil of House Viatos tattooed in bold black ink across it.
Background: Pandaros has a bit of a hero complex, and has no objections to showing off his prowess, especially when a lady is involved. There probably is. Of course, the chance to win honor and glory for his noble family is nothing to sniff at either. The Black Cloud simply couldn't pass up a chance like this.
Weapon: The Black Cloud wears a pair of adamantine plate gauntlets with straight two-inch spikes between the second and third knuckles, perfect for jabs, as well as plate boots of the same material and with singular three-inch spikes at the toe. The dark green metal, while almost perfectly resistant to hostile forces, has proven quite amicable to channeling a wielder's elemental magic - making it ideal for his use, unlike normal conductive metals, which heat and melt within seconds of that kind of usage.
Signature Move: Nuclear Symphony, to be revealed upon first victory in the Arena.
Name: Taemos Viatos (Tay-mose)
Element: Life (Plant/Animal)
General Description: Taemos is a tough-looking kid in the tail end of his teen years, with olive skin and a messy shock of black hair he's taken to horizontally striping with bright reds, blues, and greens. He's build wiry, but gives the impression of having hardened, with scars from claws and fangs marring much of his upper body, especially his arms. He's got the Viatos eyes, a stormy violet-black flecked with bright gold specks, and wears their icon - the triple yinyang - as a pendant around his neck. He wears mostly earth colors, a dark brown jacket over a pale green shirt, with long, light brown trousers and bare feet.
Backround: A descendant of Pandaros from another time, Tae comes here merely to test himself. He's struggled long and hard with his identity, and it's gotten the better of him more then once - there's a certain broken tinge to his gaze, the sense that he's driven by needs and desires he can't understand. Somewhere at his core sleeps a child of endless compassion, but even the roar of the Arena is unlikely to wake it from its nightmares.
Weapon: Taemos wields a heavy macahuitl, a strange hybrid of club and sword. It seems to be made of cracked and petrified wood, and its cracks are filled by spidery green vines studden with poisonous thorns and even more poisonous azure-and-scarlet blossoms. Its edges are spiked with dark gray animal bone and glistening shards of insect carapace; despite its primitive appearance, it's composed of material from the most venerable and deadly physical specimens and crafted by a master vitamancer - it rivals even starmetals like adamantine and orichalcum for durability and strength.
Signature Move: Phantasmagoria, to be revealed upon first victory in the Arena.5/27/2009 #19
For those of you who just recently added a character, I suggest you PM someone else-I believe there are at least four of you who just added characters-and ask them to have a match with their character. For examples visit Soul Decay's profile http://www.fictionpress.com/u/551254/Soul_Decay and look at The Arena of Elements. And have fun while writing. :)
Almost forgot to mention, though it probably says this somewhere, the ending should be a cliffhanger until the fight is posted and votes come in. After which, the winner will write the ending to the match.5/28/2009 . Edited 5/28/2009 #20
Hey guys! Seeing as how I kind of uncomfortable in just outright PMing anyone without any introduction, I decided to post here instead before I do so you know??
So if you want to schedule a match, whoever's out there who wants to battle ALONA, just PM me...that should do it...I'd be glad to email you back, but I'm afraid I won't be able to do so if you email me over the weekend since I'm climbing a mountain and enrollment's not long after...I should get back to anyone who will email by Thursday at the least..
That's about it...Challenge me anytime! I'm pretty friendly, Alona's the firecracker...hahahahah

Character Name: Hetero Keisho (Het-ter-roh Key-shoh)
Character Element: Water
General Description: Brown hair, hazel eyes, wears American and Japanese style outfits (shoes included)
Some background: Hetero has always wondered about her ability to manipulate water.
Preferred Weapon: Anything She can make by freezing water
Any further information: She wears a gold-trimmed blue jewel around her neck that contains her elemental dragon. she can call the dragon out in a major fight, and her outfit changes from street clothes into a japanese fight-style kimono that is different shades of blue.5/31/2009 #22
Character Name: Luna
Race: Water Nymph/Dark Elf
Character Element: She has the ability to create and control water, but only when the moon can be seen in the sky or when the sun cannot. Luna also has a very keen ability to see in the dark.
General Description: Luna stepped into the room, barely making a sound as she maneuvered her thin body through the sliver of space the open door left. Her steps were small but quick, her short black skirt gently waving with each movement. Though no one turned to see the visitor, a small group of card players began to whisper, and she knew they were speaking of her.
She did not blame them for their gossip. She was, after all, a curious looking creature -- the pale skin, the dark apparel, the flawless complexion. One could sense a mysterious aura as soon as they glimpsed the long brown hair which completely covered one of her ice blue eyes. As the group of chatterers began to laugh, Luna smoothed her dark blue camisole. She did not mind being talked about, but being laughed at.... That was a completely different matter.
One man awkwardly removed himself from the table and strode somewhat clumsily to the dark woman, who was only about half his height. Slyly, Luna glanced up at the man. Seeing as he was drunk, she shook her head and laughed quietly to herself, folding her arms across her thin stomach and leaning backwards against a wooden pole. The tall man was nothing to worry about. Day had faded into night by this hour, so he could not even hope to harm her.
With a bit of a wink, the man reached out to grab the dark girl's arm. Immediately an angry look overtook Luna, and she thrust her hand out, spewing dark water at offender. The man toppled over onto the ground, knocked out cold by the force of her powers.
"Idiots," the girl whispered under her icy breath. She was superior to these people.
Some background information: Luna nearly only fights when threatened, challenged, or taunted by someone. Her main reason for coming to the Arena is to observe the techniques of the fighters to better improve her skills. She desires to eventually obtain the ability to use her powers in the daytime as well as the night.
Preferred Weapon: Because she has very great strength, Luna refrains from carrying around a weapon and tends only to wander around when the sun is not visible.
Signature move: Consuming Darkness. This move turns Luna into a silhouette/shadow form that none others can harm while ripping the stars from the heavens and pelting them down onto the one she is fighting against. Only Luna cannot be harmed by this attack. This move also triples the power force of her moves. However, the girl can only perform this fatal action when the sky is abundant with stars, and she can only muster up the power to perform it about once every week.
Any other information: Luna is very mysterious and does not like to talk much. She likes to quietly observe and analyze those around her. However, the girl easily feels threatened and will attack or run if she does not feel she is safe. Temper is also another issue for Luna as hers can flare up very easily at the slightest bit of offensive behavior to her.6/02/2009 #23

Character Name: Nephthys (Nef-thees) A.K.A 'The Falcon'
Character Element: She can control wind, and can create static (by banging air particles together)
General Description: The Arena town was big. Scores of people passed through it each day, so no-one noticed the dusty travellers coming up the southern road, and no-one would have said anything if they did.
Towards the back of the party, a child-sized figure leading a tall, white-robed woman stopped in her tracks. Her hood fell back as her gaze travelled upwards, revealing her dusty black curls and pale, pointed face of a girl older than her size would suggest. People began to notice, then, as she continued to stare at the bulk of the Elemental Arena. A woman looked up from her market stall, and took in the travel-stained clothes and haggard appearence of the pair. "Are you looking to watch? Only it's two shillings to get in."
The girl turned, and looked the woman up and down with cold grey eyes. "I'm not here to watch," she said tiredly, in an accent so thick it was barely understandable. She twitched the hem of her cloak aside, and the gathering crowd took in her battered leather armour, and the clawed gauntlets hanging from her belt. "I'm here to win."
Some background information: She is travelling north out of Egypt to escape a magical plague, and find a cure for her sister. She is small in stature, but this makes here more acrobatic and even harder to hit. She has had to make money any way she can on her travels, so she has become adept in theft and slight of hand. She packs a lot of agression for her size and, unlike her sister, she is always spoiling for a fight, and will usually win.
Preferred Weapon: Her only weapons are a pair of gauntlets tipped with large metal bird's talons.
Signature move: You'll find out when she wins.
Character Name: Captain Eliza Fitzroy
Character Element: Nature. She can control and spontaneously grow plants, and has some control over animals.
General Description: A tall figure slipped out of the army barracks, wearing the blue and white uniform of the King's Earth Elementals, with the insignia of the 5th regiment. Hand resting on the hilt of a long sabre, the figure marched down the road, high, polished boots clicking on the cobblestones.
By the time it had reached the arena it had gained a following, even at this time at night. The people of the arena town could spot entertainment when they saw it. The figure stepped into the light at the door to the arena, and the crowd could see that despite its size its features were elfin and delicate, and when it spoke, it had the voice of a woman. "Eliza Fitzroy, here for the arena sign-up."
The receptionist peered at her over a magazine. "What element, umm... Ma'am?"
"Earth. Nature, specifically. Anything else?"
"No ma'am, that's all I need." She blew a big pink bubble, before going back to her magazine.
"Thank you." Eliza turned to leave, and paused when she reached the door.
"And it's Captain to you."
Background Information: Eliza joined the army at the age of 18 after her older brother was killed in action, to uphold the family name. As she belongs to a very old upper class family, and is illegitimately related to the King, she was quickly promoted to officer. Her gender caused some trouble, but after demonstrating her elemental prowess she was quickly accepted to the 5th Earth Elementals. She has now spent over 7 years in the army as both soldier and officer, but has become disillusioned with warfare and is looking to move on to bigger and better things.
Preferred Weapon: Eliza has access to an armoury, and an inventive, if slightly sadistic mind, so there's no knowing what weapon she'll come out of the gates with. Her preference is her sabre, but she can use anything from knuckledusters to flintlock rifles to seige weapons. This is especially dangerous since her sorceress friend gave her a Mary Poppins-esque military jacket for her birthday.
Signature Move: Her opponents either end up playing Russian Roulette with the content of her armoury/coat, or are obliterated in a frenzy of steel-hard brambles and anything exotic and poisonous she can think of.7/28/2009 . Edited by Soul Decay, 8/04/2009 #24
Character Name: Lady of Diamonds (Rene Diamond)
Character Element: Carbon, it’s movement, structure, and density
General Description: A girl adorned with diamonds walked into the palace court. Through her dark black hair and Irish-Italian complexion two sharp gray eyes pierced her surroundings. Relatively thin but looks as if she was carved from marble.(Most likely because she shapes her muscles at will.) Gowns are statuesque and gray no matter how many times palace ladies talk. Much too quiet compared to other noblewomen, she is friends only with those like her. Tall and 17 she gains the looks of many suitors and takes none choosing to be reclusive for reasons only she can comprehend.
Some background information: An honorary princess in her country of origin because she brought immense wealth to the kingdom by forming coal and other carbons into diamonds. The royalties crowning jewel turned into a showpiece by King Jonathan. Too intelligent for her own good she wishes not to be a court pawn and to fight a real challenge. Also likes power, chocolate, and Prince Roald. Traveling off alone she wanders to an Arena in the distance.
Preferred Weapon, if any: Steel Handgun, Ammo any surrounding carbon
Signature move: Crystallization, Of anything or anyone…
Any further information you would like to add: Don’t underestimate something you don’t understand. A born strategist is often more successful than a born hero, or leader.8/03/2009 . Edited by Soul Decay, 8/03/2009 #25
Character Name (and pronunciation if it's weird): Gabriel James Lark1/13/2012 . Edited by Soul Decay, 3/16/2012 #26
Character Element (ONE ONLY, give some explanation on it as well): Fire elemental. Self-explanatory
General Description (be imaginative, not "blond hair, brown eyes, 6"2"): Gabriel has auburn hair and ice blue eyes. He is a fire elemental with a temper to match and he is one to look out for. He is tall and lean, weighing in at about 120 pounds and he is 6" 4'. Gabriel also has a long thin, scar that runs down his left cheek and a dragon tattoo circling his right bicep.
Some background information (why are they joining this tournament for example): Gabriel is an orphan and is running out of money. He hopes to win this contest mostly for the sake of proving himself to the world, but the prize money is a good incentive, too.
Preferred Weapon, if any. (Simple enough: Sword, Spear, Staff, Hand gun, Shotgun. whatever): A long sword called Azriel that was made particularly for him. It will not burn itself up or melt when set on fire.
Signature move (give us an explanation and how it's done and what it does): His signature move is lighting his sword on fire and attacking rapidly, but a close second is when he sets his hand on fire and punches someone in the face.
Any further information you would like to add: Gabriel will not tolerate being called Gabe.
Character Name (and pronunciation if it's weird): Amii(Amy pretty much)Rost.3/13/2012 . Edited by Soul Decay, 3/16/2012 #27
Character Element (ONE ONLY, give some explanation on it as well): Darkness sounds pretty cool. She can cloak herself in shadows anywhere except in direct sunlight that can completely hide her, and create terrors in people's minds, though she has to stay still during it. (If more is needed, I can add some)
General Description (be imaginative, not "blond hair, brown eyes, 6"2"): A tall and lithe girl of 15 with straight, deep black hair, mesmerizing green eyes, and a guarded look on her face nearly all the time. She normally wears dark jeans and a light blue shirt with a pair of tennis shoes. Her height is 5' 6''. Amii is fairly clever and strategic, but she lacks in athletic ability. At most she can climb, do a few flips, and run for a while before passing out.(Tell me if more is needed)
Some background information (why are they joining this tournament for example): Amii is very prideful, though not entirely arrogant. She thinks can defeat any obstacle with ease, and had heard of the tournament. She decided that when she beats it, no one will doubt her again.
Preferred Weapon, if any. (Simple enough: Sword, Spear, Staff, Hand gun, Shotgun. whatever): Her preferred weapon is a handgun, though she can do well enough with a sword.
Signature move (give us an explanation and how it's done and what it does): Her signature move would be Night's Sorrows(If that's what you were asking for). With this, she gives her target a terror in which a loved one betrays them brutally, or the target is murdered several times painfully. During this, she strikes her target down quickly.
Any further information you would like to add: Amii seems pretty cruel, but she isn't. She is just determined, and used to blocking emotions. (If she is too perfect or something, tell me~)
Character Name (and pronunciation if it's weird): Amara (ah-MAR-ah) Ketary (ket-tar-ei)
Character Element (ONE ONLY, give some explanation on it as well): Water, can control water, steam, and ice, with her mind.
General Description (be imaginative, not "blond hair, brown eyes, 6"2"): She's average height, skinny, and has short auburn hair with white tips, pretty emerald eyes, and looks like she's wearing a thin layer of black eyeliner on each eye. She stands tall, and her eyes shine if she's in the moonlight. Her personality shines thorugh her apperance, and you can almost see a silver glow around her.
Some background information (why are they joining this tournament for example): She was a wanderer before she heard about this tournament, so now she hopes to be a part of it. She has no family, as she was abandoned (sorry about that, but the Mary-Sue-eske behavior stops here), and she's been living on her own for a while.
Preferred Weapon, if any. (Simple enough: Sword, Spear, Staff, Hand gun, Shotgun. whatever): She mainly uses two machete like swords that she keeps in sheaths on her back, and also had a glove on her right hand that has a small dagger concealed in the leather that can be activated and deactivated when she flicks her wrist.
Signature move (give us an explanation and how it's done and what it does): She'll use whatever water she has on hand to make a combined attack of water, steam and ice to incapacitate her opponent.
Any further information you would like to add: She's a good and protective friend if you need her, and is wary of new people before warming up to them eventually.6/26/2012 #28
